Your Bodega Bay Home directly over the water!

Just imagine coming home and enjoying scenic Bodega Bay....with private bayfront balcony over the water. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Bodega Bay. You'll enjoy watching the seals, heron, gulls, cormorants, white pelicans, brown pelicans and sandpipers right from your deck over the tidal waters.

You will enjoy a fully equipped, modern kitchen. Beautiful granite countertops with a gas stove, full size refrigerator and oven, microwave, and dishwasher.

This two bedroom, two bath vacation rental is part of a three unit property, and the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate. This is an upstairs unit and our guests need to be able to climb stairs. Guests that book this unit also need to be mindful of the guests that may be booked in the unit below you. The noise transfers in our historic home. We ask that you remove shoes inside (bring slippers or socks) and please, no running or jumping. For this reason, we encourage our guests that have younger children or pets to book their stay in our lower unit one.

Living room and both bedrooms are equipped with smart TV's. Guests will need to log into their own streaming apps (Netflixs, Hulu, etc.). Views of the bay from your bedroom windows...watch the sunrise as you wake up in your queen sized comfortable beds. The living room area has a wood stove to keep you cozy. Guests need to bring their own small sized wood logs (16" or smaller), duraflame or presto logs. A private balcony hangs over the water with 4 hightop chairs & a weber grill (guests please bring charcoal). You will enjoy free high speed Starlink Internet / WIFI.

We are centrally located along the scenic and dramatic Sonoma Coast. It's just an hour and 15 minutes from San Francisco, and less than an hour from Napa and Sonoma. The Russian River is just 15 minutes away, so there are literally hundreds of activities to choose from during your Bodega Bay vacation! Or you can stay put and just enjoy the wildlife and wonderful ambiance of Bodega Bay.

Our home is a QUIET, peaceful home directly on the shores of Bodega Bay. The only sounds, noise we want our guests to remember are those of bodega tides rolling in and out, birds, seals, otters, the fog horn and ocean waves crashing in the distance. Please be respectful to our neighbors and other guests. This is NOT a place to come and have a loud party.

This was directly on the bay. Just what we were looking for. Very close to the state beaches and giant redwood parks. Host was great and very communicative. Would book again.

Beautiful views of the bay and really enjoyed watching the seals and birds off the deck. Well appointed with everything we needed, except a bottle opener (couldn’t find one, anyway). The only bad thing was the driveway; it was terrible to get out of. They do warn you that you can’t turn right out of it, because your car can hang up on the curb, but we also got hung up going to the left. There was construction going on next door and work on that driveway, so hopefully, that will also help with the entrance to this one. But, a fabulous time overall.

The view, when not foggy was top notch. But an explanation of the STEEP drive way should be added. I did not know until 3 days before our departure that the bottom of my car could "bottom out". So I had to take a different car and it is still not for the weak of heart to get out of the driveway. The place is well stocked, clean and quiet. BUT if you WiFi is important during your stay, you will have issues. The owners were very easy to communicate with...they have a very cute place.

Beautiful location, comfortable house, with the best views of Bodega Bay and all it's amazing wildlife! We saw Herons, Storks, Otters, and Seals and launches our kayaks from the bay access at the property!

This was a Sister trip and it was everything we hoped it would be. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the view off the deck just made everything perfect! We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic Escape in Bodega Bay!

This property is perfect - a true little bolt hole that sits over the bay with unlimited views and a great location! My friend and I came here for a double birthday trip and ended up spending much of our time enjoying the comfort and amenities that Steve & Kristie provided. There are 2 very comfortable bedrooms and baths and a great room that allows you to have your own space but literally be on/over the bay. Quiet, well-stocked kitchen (enough so that we ended going to the fish markets and cooking every night!) and lots of super thoughtful touches. And the deck - you could literally sit there for days & days!! I would never stay anywhere else if I was in the area! Thank you for such a great add to our trip!!!

My husband, 2 kids and I had a wonderful stay. The location is amazing, right on the water. The deck is perfect for sitting and watching seals and birds. The driveway wasn’t bad as long as you exit to the left.

Weekend getaway

Great family weekend

We had a nice long weekend with our family of four. We enjoyed being so close to the water. We watched seals, otters and birds, and even talked to some friendly kayakers. We were able to walk to some local places that are nearby and drive easily around. The host gave some great food recommendations. Parking is tight, but manageable. There is a fog horn that sounds continously, but it did not impact our stay.

Bodega Bay trip

Great location and perfect for a father-daughter trip. I was prepared for the challenging driveway and it did not dissapoint! The unit was awesome - literally right on the water and both bedrooms had a great view.

Loved the closeness of the water, especially when sitting in the captain chairs on the deck. Convenient little store(Diekmans) within walking distance for any daily essentials. A great place to go and do nothing but eat at restaurants or bring all your own food and never leave..

Hitchcock Hideaway

Cute, little 2 BR unit that is part of 3. Right on the bay, I mean you could fish off the deck at high tide. A very steep driveway which makes getting onto Rt 1 a bit dicey. Hot water took about 4-5 minutes but great water pressure in front BR shower. WiFi is suitable for emails and surfing but uploads and downloads were a bit tough. The owner was responsive and helpful with suggestions. Many restaurants had limited hours. Great sunsets to be viewed from the deck.

You can enjoy dozens of scenic beaches, hiking, biking, wine tasting, fishing, golf, you name it. No wonder Bodega Bay is one of the most popular towns on the coast.

Staying right on the water is the most unique aspect of this property. Enjoy watching the seals and pelicans right out of your window or while relaxing on the deck. I love watching the changing of the tides, and watching the fishing boats pass 'At the Bay's Edge' on their way to unload their catch.
