Apartment is in a nice quiet neighborhood and equipped with everything you need for your stay..My mistake to assume that air conditioning is everywhere..The hostess was more then accommodating: beach blankets, beach chair, umbrella was offered to us.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The apartment was very nice and true to the pictures. Felt very private with a terrace backyard all to my self. Short walk down to the nearest beach, nice evening walks in to Lagos centre. The hosts were so welcoming and very nice. A wonderful week stay in Lagos, would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much and until next time

Beautiful Stay next to Praia de Porto de Mos

We had a very warm welcome by the hosts Aida and Cristina. They showed and explained us everything in the apartment and gave us a lot of very helpful tips and recommendations for restaurants and activities around. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a stay of a week or longer (full kitchen equipment, washing maschine, beach towels, even beach ball equipment and sun umbrellas were there). We even got some complementary fresh fruits and drinks on arrival. The apartment is in the back of the house of the family, but you have full privacy. The beach of Porto de Mos is just about 10 minutes walking distance, a small supermarket in 10 Minutes as well. Into historic city center of Lagos it is about 20 minutes walking. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend it! Thank you very much, Aida and Cristina, for hosting us (and for the strawberries and farewell cake as well ;-))

Beautiful, cosy apartment in Lagos with garden

I, my husband and my one year old son arrived in Lagos last 20th of July. It was very late because our luggage had been lost ; the owners, Mrs Aida and her husband, welcome us very warmly. The house was small but extremely cosy, well furnished, comfortable, clean and it had anything you would need in a house. The beautiful private garden has an amazing sea view. It is not walking distance to the center but you can go by car or by bike. From there you can visit all the beauful beaches and cities of Algarve. Super-recommended for a couple or a couple and a baby. Plus: clean, well furnished, easy to park, relaxing, the owners are special people, friendly and helpful. Weakness: nothing!!! You will have a special holiday!!

Nettes Apartement in schöner Lage

Vielen Dank für zwei schöne Urlaubswochen. Das Apartement entspricht genau der Beschreibung und schöne gepflegte Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir wurden überaus freundlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthaltes stand uns die Vermieterfamilie mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Der schöne Strand ist fußläfig zu erreichen. Nochmals herzlichen Dank an die liebe Vermieterin und ihre Tochter. Wir würden jederzeit gern wieder einen Aufenthalt dort verbringen.

Perfect holiday

I stayed at this beautiful compact apartment for 10 days at Easter,on a bodyboarding/walking holiday. The apartment is located in a quiet,peaceful residential area approximately 5 minutes from The fantastic beach at Porto Mos. The apartment is perfect for a couple or single traveller, and extremely well equipped with all the utensils you are likely to need on holiday. The beds were comfortable and of excellent quality,and there is plenty of room and hangers for your clothes.there are electric security grills so you have various options of sleeping with doors open or closed at night,depending on the temperature. The bathroom is 5 star with a fantastic shower,beautifully tiled and equipped with a hairdryer for those who need it! The garden and patio area is a floral delight,with a comfy lounger and a padded cover.there is a table and chairs for meals alfresco .A picture has just come back to me of sitting in the garden after a day boarding at Praia de Amado listening to Neil Young Heart of Gold,and thinking life doesn't get much better.I think I found my heart of gold here! My hosts Aida and her husband invited me for a beautiful meal and made me feel very special,and part of the family. Their attention to detail and warm and friendly manner made my stay at their apartment a pleasure. I had the feeling they had put some serious thought into what makes a perfect holiday and added the final ingredient of kindness and wonderful Portugese hospitality. I hope to return in the future and meet up again . Thank you Brian Wilkinson

Wunderbarer Urlaub in Zweisamkeit

Die bildlichen Darstellungen der Ferienwohnung entsprechen der Realität: Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. In dem Haushalt haben wir nichts vermisst. Die Wohnung ist sehr neu und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Terrasse ist gemütlich und der Garten eine reine Wohlfühloase. Das Haus liegt in einer Siedlung mit hochwertigen Wohnhäusern, wo es aber sehr ruhig ist. Da wir mobil waren, war die Entfernung zur City kein Problem und ein idealer Standort, um die Region zu erkunden. Abends hatten wir gelegentlich Besuch von einem Kautz und morgens wurden wir meist durch einen Hahn geweckt. Der „Hausstrand“ Praia de Porto de Mós ist fußläufig gelegen und hat uns extrem gut gefallen. Andere Traumstrände und Buchten befinden sich in Lagos und Umgebung. Wir konnten unsere Privatsphäre genießen, wobei die Besitzer gleichzeitig immer für uns ansprechbar waren, aber nie aufdringlich erschienen. Sie gaben uns Tipps, welche Orte wir mit dem Auto erkunden sollten (und die waren super!) oder welche Restaurants empfehlenswert seien. Wir möchten auch gerne die Liebenswürdigkeit des Ehepaares und Ihrer Tochter Christina unterstreichen. So kamen wir zum Beispiel in den Genuss, traditionell portugiesische (selbstgemachte) Feigentrüffel zu probieren :-)))! Aber vor allem die Hilfsbereitschaft, insbesondere an unserem Abreisetag, haben wir sehr geschätzt und möchten uns auf diesen Weg nochmals herzlichst für alles bedanken. Viele Grüße aus Essen! Great Apartment!

Our holiday in Lagos was really fantastic. The beaches are astonishing and the place is worth visiting. The apartment was really cute and nice. The atmosphere was really relaxing and friendly. There are all the facilities that one needs and we didn't miss anything. We recommend to other people to go to this apartment because it's really good, well furnished, with a magnificent view over the sea, and a splendid garden. Moreover, it's located in a quiet area and it's quite close to the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay and we are really thankful to Aida and Cristina for their assistance and warm welcome.

Excellent apartment

Excellent apartment, new, super clean, very cosy and much better live than in the photos of the announcement. It has a beautiful garden with lots of privacy. Great location in front of Porto de Mos beach and just a few minutes from the city center. The area is very peaceful and quiet. The hosts are extremely friendly and always available to help and gave us very helpful advice on the best places to go. We'll be back for sure.

Couple from Canada, we just had a few days stay at this beautiful location, and we found it just perfect. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, just steps from a great beach, and close to a supermarket and a few places to eat. The place actually exceeded our expectations, as the pics really don’t do justice to a splendid terrace/backyard so well maintained in tropical garden style, and more importantly, very private. A very short drive into the old town and the Marina, where all the action is, but as we preferred walking, a pleasant walk, no more of less than half hour. Everything was spotless clean and had all the needed amenities and utilities in pristine condition, like our own home. The hosts are so gracious and accommodating, very hospitable, helpful, they were happy to answer questions and give us useful informations. If we’ll have the chance to go back, we can’t think to another place to stay, as this one is so perfect. August 22, 2026

Christina war super nett und sehr hilfsbereit! Definitiv eine super Gastgeberin :)Insgesamt sah die Wohnung besser aus, als erwartet - alles sauber und Equipment total ausreichend. Die Lage war leider nur okay... Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr weit entfernt (zumindest bei starker Hitze und Steigung). Es gab einen sehr schönen Strand in der Nähe (Canavial), der Rest ist leider zu touristisch für meinen Geschmack... Aber an sich kommt mit Uber gut und relativ günstig vorran. Sonst ist die Wohnung aber wirklich fein. Es ist ja angegeben, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt - mit offener Schlafzimmertür ist es nachts auch soweit erträglich. Nur der Kühlschrank piept nachts sehr laut, was den Schlaf dann doch beeinträchtigt, da es keine Türe zwischen Schlafzimmer und Küche gibt.

Regarding the location, we are indeed in a quieter area, close to nature and beautiful beaches like Canavial, which is perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. The more central and commercial areas of the city are a bit further on foot, but they’re easy to reach by car, bus, or even Uber, as you mentioned. About the fridge beeping — thank you for pointing that out. Since it’s a built-in model, sometimes it may look closed when it’s not fully sealed, which causes the alarm to go off. Super logement bien situé

Très bon accueil, logement tout confort, literie (litdraps) très agréables pour bien dormir, propreté, tout équipé. Appartement très cosy, dans un quartier calme. Dommage qu'il y avait des travaux durant notre séjour. Mais nous avons passé un excellent séjour, proche de la mer. Facile d'accès au centre ville en voiture ou en bus. Je recommande cet établissement.

Travaux

Un immeuble est en construction sur le côté de la maison donc le chantier commence à 8 heure le matin. Tractopelle, bétonnière enfin très bruyant ; pas possible de prendre le petit déjeuner sur la jolie terrasse.... Et comme vue du jardin le tractopelle garé devant. A part cela la propriétaire très gentille nous a offert des fraise de son jardin!

Magnifique séjour à Lagos

Nous avons été trés bien accueilli par Martia. Logement très propre avec jardin magnifique ainsi que la vue. Tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien avec plein de petites attentions à 10 mns de la mer ..... fruit confiture lessive ect . logement parfait pour 2 il faut juste savoir que nous étions à 25 mns du centre à pieds sans voiture il faut aimer marcher. C'est un logement que je conseille vivement.

Wunderschönes Apartment in einer herrlichen Villa

Wir kamen an und waren erst einmal total begeistert von dem Anblick, der sich uns hier bot. Die Bilder werden dem tatsächlichen Erscheinungsbild gar nicht gerecht. Die Gartenlandschaft und das Apartment sind sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben sogar bei unserer Ankunft leckere Croissants, einen prall gefüllten Obstkorb, Bier, Milch, Marmelade und weitere Kleinigkeiten vorgefunden, die uns sehr glücklich gemacht haben. Man merkt, dass hier wirklich großer Wert drauf gelegt wurde, dass die Gäste eine tolle Zeit erleben und Ihnen an nichts fehlt! Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt! Eine ganz klare Weiterempfehlung!!!

A perfect stay!

On the day of our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Christina and her family. The place was easy to find and there was enough space for parking our car. In the apartment we found everything we needed for our stay: a great garden to relax or to have breakfast outside, a nice living room with a small TV (we could watch our holiday pictures using my HDMI-cable) with English and Portuguese channels, a well-equipped kitchen (fridge and freezer, washing machine,...), a stylish bathroom and the bedroom with twin beds. The bus stop is just about 300 m away, the bus ride into Lagos takes about 15 minutes and the bus leaves every hour. The supermarkets are just about 3 minutes away (by car). Walking to the beach took us about five minutes. The beach itself was perfect for us: lots of sand, great waves and the cliffs offer a breathtaking view. The area around Lagos (and Lagos itself) offers a great variety of sights, beaches, places for walking and there are great events like the "Fiesa". To put it all in a nutshell: we had a perfect stay in Porto de Mos. PS: Thank you Aida for those little cakes. They tasted delicious!
