It is with pleasure that we welcome you to our beautiful island of Ré where life is good all year round.

When you enter the island, you will discover a magnificent view of the beaches, the Chauveau lighthouse at sea, monuments such as the Chateliers Abbey and the Sainte-Marie bell tower.

Our ten villages, all different, with a personalized stamp for each. Our ten churches and our tourist offices, because each village is independent.

The cultural heritage of the island is important both for its monuments, its Vauban fortifications, the penal colony and its history, the museums, the salt marshes, the work of the fields of yesteryear, the vines and the winegrowers' cooperative ... .

You can explore the island by bike through its 110km of cycle paths, maps of which can be obtained from tourist offices. Ballads in the salt marshes, picnics on the beach, or in the woods, along the sea, which you will undoubtedly enjoy !!!

You can also discover the foreshore, the fish locks by being accompanied and explaining all this nature !!

The markets take place every morning, in all the villages, with its local products, salt, fish, vegetables, fruits, pineau and local wines, oysters, mussels, caramel fleur de sel, butter patties ....

The beaches are located on the south side of the island, and the small fishing and pleasure ports are on the north coast.

In short, it is only happiness, sun, everything to spend a good vacation, for young and old !!!
