Modern amenities blended with a touch of old Spanish charm! Clean, spacious, cool and comfortable 4-bedroom home, big enough for the whole family to stretch out (1,650 square feet, plus over 1,600 square feet of screened in outdoor living space as well).

Enjoy dinner out in the screened courtyard, or sit back with a cold drink by the pool or spa after a long day in the beautiful Florida sunshine! The screened in saltwater pool and spa area offer over 1,600 square feet to stretch out and is a nice reprieve from the flying Florida critters that like to harass in the evenings. And with a heated saltwater pool and spa, an evening swim or a relaxing spa session may be in order!

Literally steps away from Palma Sola Bay where you can see Manatee swimming in the marina or grab a rod and reel and sit by the water's edge and relax. Or maybe you'd like to take a cruise around Palma Sola Bay on one of our Beach Cruiser bikes?

If you love to cook, you'll be happy to know that the kitchen is fully stocked with hardly a utensil or need overlooked. Pull out the blender for a homemade Piña Colada or cook a nice meal - you'll have everything you need.

When the day is done and you're feeling content, slide into soft sheets, fluffy pillows, and a big comfortable king sized bed with your favorite book! Or catch-up on your favorite shows with complementary Directv or access your Netflix/Hulu/Amazon account from our smart TV (Master Bedroom).

Tuck the kids and their tired little eyes into one of our three guest rooms. Guest rooms one and two are equipped with two twin beds each (XL twin beds in guest room 2), and guest room three has one queen sized bed and a smart TV for Netflix/Hulu/Amazon access.

Palma Sola Retreat is in a wonderful location. Steps from Palma Sola Bay, and a short seven minute drive across the bay to the beautiful white sand Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island.

On the Bay, be sure to check out the paddle boards and kayak rentals which are on location, rent jet skis or look into beach horse riding!

Nearby Robinson's Preserve is a great place for a hike or bike ride with the family, or maybe a morning run?

Have time for 18? Hit one of the area's many beautiful golf courses!

Amazing!

This is such a perfect house! There are 6 of us “older” women who make the trip to Bradenton every summer, and it usually so hard to find a house with enough beds that are not bunk beds. The house is great—it has everything you need—and the pool is fabulous!

Michiganders

This is our third stay in three years at this property! It is an excellent place for families with littles. All the extras that the hosts provide (pool toys, sand toys, kid videos) make it very easy on the parents. The reading nook in a closet is a favorite of my granddaughter's. Before we left this year, she asked me if I thought it would still be there!

We had another enjoyable stay at the retreat. Weather was great, the place was excellent as usual. James and Regan were very welcoming and responsive to any requests.

Winter Break with Family

Great family stay at this property (4 adults/2 kids). Very clean, spacious, good layout and generously equipped with all the kitchen, pool and beach toys you need. Decor and furnishing all in great condition. Covered/heated pool and spa were much enjoyed even in 70 degree temp. We are pretty familiar with the area and Palma Sola was a good location compromise to be 15 min from the Anna Maria beaches and 30 from Sarasota museums, aquarium etc. Hosts were very responsive. Cute fishing/manatee viewing 2 blocks away. Would definitely consider staying again with the family!

Good vacation property

Great venue, close to Bay, shops and vacation amenities. Pool great but a little chilly in December. Quiet, friendly neighbourhood. House offered all facilities required for a relaxing vacation. Would certainly go back.

Merveilleux séjour à palma sola

C est la troisième fois que nous venons à Palma Sola . Nous avons retrouvé la maison telle que nous l avions laissé quelques années plus tôt . Toujours aussi confortable ! Rien ne manque ! Il y a tout ce qu il faut pour un séjour réussi . Nous avons eu cette année un petit problème d évacuation d évier dans la cuisine . J ai envoyé un mail à James et Reagan pour leur signaler . A peine une demie heure après , quelqu’un était là pour réparer la plomberie . James et Reagan sont très à l écoute de leur hôte . Je recommande fortement la location de cette maison qui rassemble toutes les qualités pour passer un super séjour.

Perfect stay

Everything about this place is awesome. The house is spacious and it comes with a screened pool, 3 bikes, beach toys and plenty of fresh towels and amenities. There are plenty of trails for biking and or jogging. Our favorite is Robinson Preserve that can be reached either by foot (almost 2 miles) or by car to the watch tower. James and Regan made sure our check in was smooth and were responsive with our needs during the stay. We will consider staying here again next year!

Another wonderful stay

This was our 3rd stay, and it was just as wonderful as the other times! Plenty of indoor and outdoor space, very clean, and an amazing pool.

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful time. The property was just as listed. Very convenient to beaches and shopping areas. Clean and well stocked. The owners were very responsive to questions. We were even blessed to be able to check in early which helped us out a lot. The pool area was great and was our main source of entertainment. My teenage sons also enjoyed riding their scooters in the neighborhood. There is also a marinara within walking distance. We were able to fish and watch the manatees come in. We would definitely recommend this place! We can’t wait until next time. 🌴

Excellent Getaway

This home is beautiful, clean, spacious and we even were able to check in early which really helped. The pool and spa are so nice!! We loved spending time in the screened in pool area the most. Even on days it rained, we were able to be outside since half is covered from the rain. The owners are always available, caring and provided so much at this home for us. We enjoyed our stay so much and it was just what we needed. Only 5 mins to Anna Maria Island too. Lots of options to eat in Bradenton too. Great location! Oh and right down the street you can watch manatees daily and the most beautiful sunsets! So grateful we found this home and gave it a chance! Does not disappoint.

Fantastic home, neighborhood, and hosts!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay! Not only was the home clean and spacious, the neighbors were welcoming, the neighborhood felt very safe, and the location was super convenient. Everything we needed was within 15 minutes. As if that wasn't enough, the hosts were extremely quick to respond to my messages and so very kind. Without hesitation I'd recommend this home and hope we have another chance to stay in the future!

Girls weekend

Well maintained, well appointed. Everything you need is there. Well stocked kitchen, beach and pool gear for adults and children. They even have a beach canopy for use! Lovely property. The owner was kind to provid a bottle of tequila and tortillas for the cinco de mayo weekend. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

Spring Break 2024

If you are a family with littles looking for an ideal VRBO, this is it. In addition to being beautifully decorated, the hosts provide a wealth of extras that just add to the stay: a book nook/bed in a closet with many Disney books, pool toys, sand toys for the beach just minutes away, Disney DVDs, and toys in the house. There is everything you need to take the littles to the beach: sand chairs, cooler, sun tent, and umbrella. No need to bring the Pack-n-Play, they have one! Just can't sy enough about how all these things help families traveling with littles!

Annual Florida Trip

Enjoyed our second stay at the retreat. Jame and Regan have been very responsive to any inquiry. The place was well supplied when we got there. Plenty of room to relax inside or out. Planning to be back in 2025.

Great location and communication

Great location 10 minutes from the beach. Safe quiet neighborhood for running and kids biking in the street. Thanks to the outdoor screening, patio and house were clean and completely bug free. Hot tub and heated pool were a win and main reason we booked. House was spacious and had all the things you need from condiments to trash bags to pool toys, towels and life jackets. Beds were comfy and the closet converted to an extra bunk was perfect for our 2 yr old! Due to cold temps, manatees weren’t in the bay but according to locals, they normally are which is a short walk from the house. Communication with James was great and he even gave some local recommendations for us. We are coming back next year and would very likely stay again if we come to the same town.

Don't pass this one up!!! Awesome Property!

Me and my family rented this property for the week of Thanksgiving 2023 and had a fantastic time. We loved the Spanish forward vibe of the house / courtyard and the pool / hot tub were outstanding. It says saltwater pool and hot tub but you do not taste salt at all or feel that on your skin. I was a bit worried about that when booking but it was not an issue at all. The location of this property is located in the middle of everything with shopping / groceries / dining all within a stones throw of the house. The area / subdivision is very well kept and safe to walk or ride bikes around the area. Everything in the house was labeled very well and the kitchen was stocked with most of the things you will need to make any kind of meal. We had a multi course Thanksgiving meal for 8 to give you an idea of what we had to work with so there is no shortage of kitchen items. Anna Maria island is only a few minutes away which has some very nice beaches and great island viby stores and restaurants. Lastly, the communication between the host and us was great. They answer their phone every time we had a question (even on Thanksgiving) and called back to make sure we got what we needed. Me and my family highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of booking in the Bradenton area. I am sure we will book again the next time we are staying in this area.

Family Retreat

Family and grandkids. Great location and well equiped house perfect for a relaxing time and close and convenient to the beaches. Great little marina with manatee's just a few houses away.

Family get away

Outstanding time with family, we spent a week and it was like home… the home was beautiful, the amenities were incredible. James and Regan thank you for everything, the property had everything you could want for a beach vacation. This will be on the return list. Highly recommend staying at this property, we saw manatees right at the end of block, we did some fishing and bike riding (fishing poles and bikes all part of the property) Thank you again for your hospitality! Perfect house for a family!

Our family of 8 had such an amazing week together in this super spacious yet cozy home. Honestly felt like home and it had an awesome screened in (no critters!) private heated pool and hot tub. Absolutely convenient to everything. Plenty of beaches to choose from just a short drive away. I could go on and on!

Perfect family vacation home

This was our second time staying here and everything was perfect as usual! Check-in was simple, house had everything you needed, close to beaches & shopping, the pool area was awesome, and the owners are very accommodating. Will definitely be staying again in the future!

Paradise

We had such a wonderful stay. The hosts were so kind and acommodating. The property was very well equipped with anything you might need. The location was amazing, close to Anna Maria Island and some beautiful beaches. A fun surprise was that the property was also a short walk to a little outlet with great manatee viewing. Peaceful neighborhood, beautiful enclosed pool. Would absolutely stay again.

Retirement Trip

This property more than exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. It is very toddler/preschool friendly with lots of little extras that just enhance the experience. My 4-year old granddaughter fell in love with the book nook/daybed and all of its Disney books. If there was a way to give this property a “6” I would do it! We have already booked for next year… that decision was made on the first day we were there!!
