Stunning, recently restored luxury 1730 Finca, Pool, Orchard, Mountain views, Wi

A newly renovated finca dating back to 1732, 6 minutes walk from the town square of Soller. Set in a lovely orchard, large garden and pool with various terraces. Gorgeous mountain views and very tranquil location.
Finished to the highest specification and lovingly interior designed by ourselves.
WiFi throughout (not in the garden yet!)
Parking behind locked gates for four cars (once you have negotiated the very narrow drive!)
Large, pretty gardens, orange, lemon, avocado, pomegranate, peach and apricot trees, with different chill out areas..
The town square is so near, brilliant to dip in and out of....and there is so much to see and do very nearby..

As you enter through the heavy wood doors there's a lovely large eating and sitting room area with a log burner stove. The Mezzanine level is five steps up, where you will find a stylish TV room with double sofa bed, leading on to the mezzanine bedroom and shower room. Ideal for older couples, being self contained. Particularly special feature is the restored tiled floors.
Continuing up the staircase you will find the master bedroom with pencil post bed and its own bathroom, with magnificent mountain views from the Juliet balcony...

There is a luxury family bathroom and two further bedrooms on this floor, one of which can be configured as a king size bed or twins.


Back downstairs you will find the utility room with all amenities, plus classic kitchen, leading out into the Summer kitchen and porch. There is a outdoor dining table seating 10. Sunbeds and parasols around the pool and a lovely semi enclosed terrace with outdoor settees.

All bedrooms have air conditioning. There is also full oil fired central heating throughout, hopefully not needed!!

NB.
From 1st November to 19th December and 2nd January to 28th February, the fee is £200 per night, with a minimum stay of 4 nights, for up to 4 guests.
An additional £25 per person, per night applies for more than 4 guests.

Wir hatten das Glück, dieses wunderschöne Haus Anfang Januar für 8 Tage mieten zu können. Wir hätten keinen schöneren und komfortableren Ort auf Mallorca finden können! Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll und zugleich technisch perfekt renoviert. In allen Räumen ist eine sehr effiziente Zentralheizung verfügbar, zusätzlich ein gemütlicher Kaminofen im Wohnzimmer - der mallorquinische Winter ist in diesem Haus ein Genuss! Alles in diesem Haus und Grundstück zeugt von der Großzügigkeit und dem Stilgefühl seiner Besitzer, jeden Tag freut man sich über neu entdeckte Details der Einrichtung, Dekoration und Bepflanzung. Zu erwähnen ist auch die makellose Sauberkeit und Gepflegtheit des ganzen großen Anwesens. Der Kontakt zu Nico vor Ort und Wendy in London war super freundlich und sofort hilfreich.

We had a very pleasant stay in this lovingly restored house. It really has everything you need in sufficient quantities. Restaurants and the city center are just a few minutes' walk away. We will definitely come back.

This is a really beautifully restored finca and an amazing place for a holiday. The house is obviously a much loved home and the generous welcome pack and honesty drawer with herbs, oils and spices made us feel right at home too! The location, a few minutes walk from the centre of Sóller, is very convenient but once in the garden it is quiet and secluded and you feel miles away from everything. Wendy was quick to reply to any queries and Adriana gave us all the info we needed at the house.We would definitely love another holiday here.

This was a really special holiday and an incredible property. It sits as a little oasis in Soller. When you are there, it is peaceful and no need to leave, but it only takes a few minutes to walk to the shops and main square. We had two children, aged 8 & 10, and 4 adults, and there was lots of room so we all had our own space. We spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the pool and the gardens, just watch out for the mosquitoes - but manageable by using the coils and spray. The kitchen is really well equipped if you want to cook in - enjoy buying from the bakeries, delis and the Saturday market in Soller. But you also won't go wrong with the restaurants, as there are so many to choose from.We didn't hire a car so we were reliant on public transport and taxis. We got the train to Palma for the day, which was fun and then the bus back, which was easy. The tram to the port is a great experience but expensive so not a great option if wanting to visit the port regularly. Taxis are quite scarce so if you want to enjoy places beyond Soller a car is a good idea.

Perfect location in the heart of Soller. Stylish accommodation and extremely well equipped. The outside space is definitely the highlight - beautifully maintained with so much space to relax and enjoy the pool and amazing views. The owners were always helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Would thoroughly recommend!

A Perfect Week

Over the years we've stayed in some lovely VRBO's, from Hawaii to Paris, Northern California to London, the South Pacific the hills of Umbria - but by some distance it's the finca in Sóller that has the crown as the fairest of them all. Ca'n Vidorra is just next level and far beyond the promise of the pictures - perfectly situated a short stroll (10 minutes) to the village of Sóller, for breakfast pastries in the morning, or a post-siesta drink on the square or a lovely late-evening dinner; then again you may just opt to stay home and enjoy lazy days by the pool or the evening still on the patio. It's an optimal base for explorations elsewhere on the island - stunning villages like Fornalutx, Deiá and Valldemossa are all short drives away and Palma is an easy 40 minutes. Really though, it’s the incredible sense of long history in this beautiful 300-year-old home, its meticulously crafted restoration, and its modern-day comforts that combined really set it apart. Add a kind, thoughtful and easily communicative host who provided a generous welcome package of grocery basics along with a well stocked kitchen (honor system of all the fundamentals - no need here to buy a kilo of salt for a week-long stay), friendly local management with helpful local info and tips, and there was simply nothing left wanting. We absolutely loved our comfortable, joyful time there and would return in a heartbeat if we could. Thank you Wendy and Owen for a perfect week we will never forget!

A stunning home near to the town center

The property looks just like pictures, the outside areas are beautiful and the pool the perfect temperature, and ample parking. The inside space is great with great access from the kitchen area to the outside space. What sets this place apart from others is the short walk into town down through Calle Lluna with local shops, bakery and restaurants. The owner and local host were great to deal with and super helpful. A perfect place to stay.

Perfect break in this lovely house

Extremely comfortable and well equipped house in perfect location combining privacy with a lovely pool in glorious gardens with stunning Mountain View’s within a few minutes walk to the centre of soller with numerous shops and restaurants and vintage tram running every half hour to the beautiful port.

Beautiful home in Soller

The property was amazing, great layout for our family and only a few minutes walk into town. The garden is full of citrus trees which were all in season during our stay. The home has beautiful interior design and is equipped with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the week we sent here.

Traum-Finca

Wir waren mit insgesamt vier Paaren einer Familie für eine Woche in diesem wunderbaren Haus. Die Bilder des Inserats sind sehr realistisch, eigentlich ist die Finca noch schöner, als auf den Bildern. Die vier Schlafzimmer sind unterschiedlich groß und verschieden ausgestattet. Aber, auch in dem kleinsten lässt es sich sehr gut schlafen. Zwei Paare haben sich eine Dusche geteilt, was aber auch kein Problem war.Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, groß genug, dass man zusammen kochen kann und liegt direkt neben dem Aufenthaltsraum mit dem großen Esstisch. Weil das so fantastisch war, haben wir tatsächlich jeden Abend gekocht und gemeinsam gegessen und waren nicht einmal im Restaurant.Das Haus ist übrigens tatsächlich geheizt und kühlt nicht total aus. Zweimal haben wir trotzdem mal den großen Kamin angemacht, Holz ist vorhanden!Der Garten ist großzügig, der Poolbereich lädt am Nachmittag nach den Ausflügen zum Sonnen und Ausruhen ein. Das Wasser im Pool war doch recht kalt und überhaupt hatten wir Pech mit dem Wetter und - ungewöhnlich - fast an jedem Tag Regen. Aber, dafür kann keiner etwas.Kurzum: Die Finca ist ein Traum für bis zu acht Personen, sie liegt zentral in Sóller und doch sehr ruhig, die Vermieter und das Personal vor Ort, das sich um Schlüssel etc. kümmert, sind unkompliziert und sehr freundlich!Daher auch von uns die volle Punktzahl für diese Traumfinca und eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung

A Mediterranean Dream

Where do I begin? Ca'n Vidorra was a perfect choice for our family trip to Soller! The historic house and property have been thoughtfully and meticulously restored with quality materials and design. The bedrooms are very comfortable with good mattresses and high quality linens, and the bathrooms are well done with great showers and lots of hot water.The living spaces are so comfortable and stylish. We loved the fireplace and wish the weather had been warmer to enjoy the spectacular view, outdoor spaces, and the pool. The kitchen is very well done and well stocked so that all staples are already on hand. Wendy generously provided fresh breads, crackers, milk, wine and water! And a special thank you to Adriana, her property manager, who was available for help and info whenever needed. Wendy, thank you for sharing your comfortable, beautiful property with us!

Everything was great

The house is very beautiful, inside and outside. All amenities and stuff worked perfectly fine, except wifi coverage in one of the upper floor room but this is small matter. We cooked and did our laundry almost every day here and did not come into any problem at all. Walking distance to town center, along the way there's a river with ducks swimming and playing which our kids loved. We helped ourselves to some oranges straight from the trees, this was a unique experience to us as we only get oranges from market.

Wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Wendy's Finca. The grounds were stunning as was the villa itself. We had everything we needed and plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children. The location was fantastic, as just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Soller. Communication was great and I'd highly recommend staying here.

Lovely house in Soller

A great location, a short walk into a charming little town, the house was very well equipped, especially the cooking facilities, comfortable and spacious. Everyone in our party strongly recommends staying here for a relaxing pool/beach holiday. The only minor gripe is the fact that all the outdoor lighting cuts out at 11pm.

Dreamy

This was a dreamy, magical place to celebrate my retirement with my husband and two couples! We did not want to leave the property! The setting against the mountains was spectacular. We spent many hours in the pool and could swim laps. The multiple outdoor living spaces just added to the relaxed environment to enjoy long outdoor meals and lazy afternoon naps. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the outdoor kitchen expanded the number of us who could cook. We loved making dinners after our daily shopping in town. We had Bittan, a chef recommended by Wendy, cook 3 nights for us. Her food was fabulous, and she was a total delight! The house was lovely, and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for three couples. It was a wonderful vacation in a fabulous property!
