It was pretty much what was expected since it was the 10th visit to the Sandpiper condos. Great location is the top attraction of the place.

OUTSTANDING Hosts!

This is a beautifully appointed unit! Moreover, the owners are wonderful to work with! I would highly recommend this condo for a stay in the Jax Beach area! We will MOST DEFINITELY request to book for our future visits to the area!

Mayo Clinic stay

Condo was perfect for my friends mayo clinic appointments. I do wish I knew more about the current construction that was going on. They had no complaints and very happy with communicating with Sheila. Thank yoU!

Comfortable & well-equipped

We had a lovely week-long stay in this apartment. There was a bit of a mix-up with the final automated check-in email not being sent, and it wasn't until we arrived at the building around 9 p.m. that I realized I didn't know what unit we were in. I had the parking space number and the door code but not the apartment number. Fortunately, I got a fairly quick reply on the VRBO app. The apartment was clean, lovely and very comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed for easy meals. Having a closet full of beach gear - chairs, umbrellas, coolers — and plenty of beach towels was WONDERFUL. The complex was fairly quiet, and when we went (week of Labor Day), it was fairly empty during the week, so even though the pool was small, it wasn't crowded. As others noted, there is quite a bit of construction going on, but there was no work over the weekend, and there was really only one morning when the work woke my husband up around 6 a.m. He's a fairly light sleeper, though, and I didn't hear a thing through my earplugs. It was important for me to be right on the beach so we were going to have the construction issue anywhere along this strip.

Great location and beautiful view

This condo was very well stocked, extremely clean, so close to the Mayo Clinic, and a variety of different foods! A very short walk to the beach or pool. It is so relaxing and a great view from the balcony. Overall a wonderful place to stay!! The host is the best an so helpful. Thanks for making our stay a great one.

Cleaning supplies needed

Make sure to bring your cleaning supplies with you if staying here. Owner stopped communicating with me after asking for our cleaning fee back. Many previous reviews mentioned “Sheila” was the host. However for our stay, this was the not the host we were communicating with. Possibly a new owner. Once we cleaned the entire condo, washed all the bedding, and aired the place out, we could enjoy our vacation. Condo is in a great location, close to the beach, and walkable distance to many places.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

Sheila is phenomenal. House was clean. Great location. Beautiful set up. Love the balcony, the privacy, and location. 20 minutes from poker room. Beach is right down the steps. December sunrise from room is perfect. Best value for your money hands down. Don't look anywhere else. I wish i could say more. I do not have a single complaint. Everything I wanted and hoped for. She is also very very accommodating and will help you with anything and everything. She even had a call off and came and cleaned up everything herself. I'm glad because it gave me an opportunity to meet a wonderful person. Everything looked great and she still kept cleaning. I had to tell her to stop. Then she didnt. Very thorough. Lol. What a pleasant human being to encounter. Its nice actually going home with all my laundry already cleaned. Have your own unit. Condo is fully loaded. You do have a split bedroom... but thats ok... especially if you have a family. And your beach is basically "your beach". Not too accessible to general public. Also they have coolers, plenty of towels, body boards for the waves, beach chairs and umbrellas. Tvs in every room. Wifi. Dishwasher. It feels like i live here. Actually i think i want to. Not joking. Wish i stayed longer. Balcony is large and has 3 chairs and plenty of room for more. You will not regret staying here. Keep in mind... i loved it and it was winter. Imagine summer?!?!? I cant wait to find out. Definitely coming back. Thank you Sheila! See you next time!

Overall, our stay was good. The location of the beach and its proximity to the property is perfect, which was the priority for me. On the plus side, there were the basics provided (trash bags, toilet paper, soap, detergent for the washer and dishwasher, and beach chairs) and enough was provided to get us through the first part of our stay until we could get to the store. A few suggestions for improvement would be to have some storage containers for food, additional coffee mugs (there were only 4 I believe), and actual beach towels. There were plenty of bath towels though. The air conditioning in the condo was inconsistent, and the bedrooms were always very warm and uncomfortable to sleep in, while the living room was cold. The two bedrooms are only separated by a pocket door, so there is very little privacy between the two spaces. There weren't additional pillows provided for the pullout sofa either, so we had to share pillows. The pool was closed for the first two days without an explanation and there was a constant loud alarm going off constantly on the premises, making spending any time at the pool unenjoyable. If I needed more bedroom privacy, I would not stay here again. However, if I were staying with people who I didn't mind only being separated by a pocket door, I would stay again because of the location of the beach and the competitive price.

The best trip!

Tasia a professional cleaner I am very nervous about going on many trips. This location was clean, I had only a couple of comments which is rare! The location is perfect, you are right on the beach. There is tons of food and shopping within blocks of the condo. We barely left the local area the whole week we were there. Excellent stay and will be back again! Very satisfied!

Condo was nice and updated except the furniture in living room was very worn out and uncomfortable. The building is very old, we did see electrical wires uncovered on the ground by the water hose to rinse off at, several of the doors were rusted.

Fantastic stay!

Condo was very nice. Perfect size for a family of 4. Right on the beach. Nice view of the ocean. Property is well maintained. Very quiet neighborhood. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Will stay here again on our next trip to Jacksonville Beach!

Jax beach

Check in process so easy, Sheila was great to work with. Location was Amazing!! Perfect actually. The main downfall was the windows, or lack of. The slider had no screen and did not lock, thank god we were on third floor. The bathroom window had no screen, and kitchen window did not open at all. That was a bummer, the cross breeze would have been awesome

Perfect for our trip!

This property was perfect for our trip. The views are amazing and access to the beach was quick and simple. They even provided paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. I know it's small, but some places don't. The only weird thing was the layout of the 2 bedrooms, which are basically one room separated by 2 sliding doors. There are pictures in the listing, so it's not something they are hiding. It was fine for us -- my husband doesn't sleep well, so he is up and down all night. Having the 2 beds and the separation worked great for us. The condo is easy to access and close to many shops and restaurants.

PERFECT!

Great location to the beach - literally steps away. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony, could watch the sunrise every morning. Condo was clean, renovated and exactly as described.
