The Spring Creek Canyon Cabin #2 is nestled in a serene area with stunning views of Spring Creek Canyon yet conveniently located close to Rapid City and popular local attractions. The cabin is 10 minutes from downtown Rapid City, 15 minutes from Mount Rushmore, and 40 min from Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and the northern hills attractions. There is an abundance of wildlife that roam the area to include Big Horn Sheep, Wild Turkeys, and Deer. There truly is no place like Spring Canyon in the Black Hills that offers the conveniences of town a short distance away!

Spring Creek Canyon Cabin #2 was built in 2015. The cabins are 1200 Sq Ft. and built with local Black Hills Timbers. The cabin will also have a custom stone wood burning fireplace - with the stones coming right from Spring Canyon! Each cabin will have a large deck with hot tub and fire pit.

The cabins will be rustic with all modern conveniences! There will be nothing like it in the Black Hills! Book Today!

Great cabin!

A very neat, clean and rustic vibe cabin to stay in! Beautiful wildlife to watch everyday & the cabin was stocked with all the needed essentials! Would definitely recommend this place!

Awesome cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great central location for seeing SD sites. We would highly recommend and certainly would be our first choice if in SD again.

Peaceful Beauty located in the Black hills

Our stay was wonderful! Such a peaceful cabin in God's Country! Communication was beyond excellent between Jess and myself. She is very pleasant and Hospitable!!

Scenic, Roomy & Family Friendly

The property and surrounding area was lovely and full of wildlife. The cabin was clean, well decorated, stocked with helpful amenities and very family friendly. The hot tub was very nice and clean. The water pressure was great and the water hot.

Very nice cabin in a good location with a great host! Only constructive feedback I have is that neither bedroom has a bed large enough to comfortably accommodate two adults (neither of which would be considered to be large/obese).

Peaceful setting, spacious lot, very helpful hosfs

This is a nice, clean, and functional space with rustic design features and close to Rapid City and nearby attractions. You can see adjacent homes, but very quiet. There is a large front yard and drive and we saw lots of wildlife. The hosts were fabulous - easy to communicate with and even helped us on day of departure when my car battery died.

Awesome Place

Amazing cabin with spectacular view from the covered front porch. Huge side porch with fire pit perfect to relax on the cooler nights with the hot tub next to it. Cabin is very well stocked with everything and anything you need. Host is very responsive if needed for anything. Perfect stay!!

Perfect secluded getaway

The cabin was perfectly lovely. Just the right size for our family of 5. We took out a trailer with a sidexside and four wheelers to take on trails and had plenty of room to park and turn around. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. The fire pit and hot tub were a big hit with everyone in the evenings when we got home. Loved it all.

We were in town for a Softball tournament. We have never been to the area so wanted to stay a few extra days to see the sites. The cabin was as advertised, Beautiful! We had know complaint and would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful property!

Amazing property with a true South Dakota feel. So well maintained, very welcoming. Jess made everything seamless for us and was extremely accessible. Would definitely stay again as it was a perfect launching pad to everything Rapid City area has to offer. Kids LOVED the loft area though would be careful with the under 6 year old set!

Perfect getaway

Nice, clean, and quiet. Within an hour of all the black hills hiking we wanted and within twenty minutes of amenities in Rapid City when we needed a restock. It was the perfect place to come back to after a long day outdoors. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots pans and knives for cooking meals. So many deer on the property and in the area

Best rental ever!

Breathtaking

My son was beyond joy by the hours spent catching grasshoppers. As a family we were taken back by the ability to sit in the jacuzzi during the evening hours and watch as horned sheep, deer and wild turkey roamed just 30 or so feet from us. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip if the host will have us.

Great stay!

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) spent a week over the 4th of July here. The cabin was very clean and well-stocked with plenty of space for all of us. We appreciated the nice appliances, central air, good Wi-Fi connection, smart TV, washer/dryer with laundry detergent, spacious shower, and collection of board games. We spent our days sightseeing around the Black Hills and our evenings grilling dinner on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Great cabin with modern amenities

My kids loved this cabin! They loved staying in the upstairs loft area. They said it felt like a treehouse. My husband & I enjoyed it as well. We loved the great big porch for drinking coffee on & enjoying the scenery. We roasted marshmallows over the fire pit & enjoyed the hot tub & they even had some baseball & football equipment for the kids to play with! Overall a great cabin to stay in. Remote enough that you feel like you’re in the wilderness but close enough to go see the sights too.

Great stay again

We were back for another fall stay. The aspens in The canyon were awesome as was the house. So relaxing with everything you need. Would be nice to have some basic spices. Deer, wild turkeys and big horn sheep right in the yard. Wanted to use the fireplace but the weather was too warm again this time so we will just have to come back again!

Great Place

Would def stay there again. The pet hair on the furniture bothered my mom’s allergies. We had an issue when we first got there…had 3 people call us back immediately and fixed it (I didn’t know how to use the Nest Thermostat). I am grateful they were so attentive and kind. The scenery was great, just the right distance from town, the wildlife was amazing and the stars were stunning! We will definitely stay there again!

Beautiful, rustic home with all the essentials and more!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully designed and decorated rustic home. Kids thought sleeping in the loft was super fun. We enjoyed looking for wild life each day and night. Hot tub, grill and fire pit made for relaxing evenings outside. I enjoyed drinking coffee the front porch each morning. We were able to get to several main attractions in less than 30 minutes. Jessica was very responsive to any questions. Just lovely! Highly recommend!!
