The Spring Creek Canyon Cabin #3 is nestled in a serene area with stunning views of Spring Creek Canyon yet conveniently located close to Rapid City and popular local attractions. The cabin is 10 minutes from downtown Rapid City, 15 minutes from Mount Rushmore, and 40 min from Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and the northern hills attractions. There is an abundance of wildlife that roam the area to include Big Horn Sheep, Wild Turkeys, and Deer. There truly is no place like Spring Canyon in the Black Hills that offers the conveniences of town a short distance away!

Spring Creek Canyon Cabin #3 was built in 2015. The cabins are 1200 Sq Ft. and built with local Black Hills Timbers. The cabin will also have a custom stone wood burning fireplace - with the stones coming right from Spring Canyon! Each cabin will have a large deck with hot tub and grill.

The cabins are rustic with all modern conveniences! There will be nothing like it in the Black Hills! Book Today!

Perfect location for exploring the Black Hills. Stocked with everything needed for making meals and spending time relaxing on the porch. Would not hesitate to book again on our next visit. Wildlife is around the property. Just beautiful to see.

The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very nice throughout. One unexpected highlight was the wonderful water pressure in the shower—always a massive plus after a long day of exploring.The location couldn't be more convenient. It served as the perfect base camp for visiting local sites, making it super easy to head out to Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, and everything else in the area.

What a great place! As advertised. Great location. Abundant wildlife. Excellent communication. Staff were around to tend to things but we hardly knew they were there. Very invested in attending to guest’s needs. Excellent fire pit, hot tub, and deck. Very comfy beautiful wooden cabin. We’ll most certainly be back!

Second year in a row staying here. Just as great as last year. Clean, love the location, love all the wildlife in the yard (finally saw the bighorn sheep), well stocked with fun games for the kids.

Our stay at this beautiful property was everything we could have wanted for our visit. The kitchen was well equipped. Delicious Black Hills coffee was provided for us, which made us feel quite welcome. The shower was amazing and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided. Lots of big fluffy towels! Every room was spacious and offered all the modern amenities anyone might need while having the rustic charm of a country cabin. We were visited by wildlife daily - a herd of deer, a flock of turkeys, and 4 big horn sheep! The cabin itself is in the country but not very far from Rapid City itself, and close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely book this property again if we return to Rapid City in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spacious, very clean, remote feeling (huge yard and closest cabin felt like more than a half of a city block away). We saw lots of deer in the mornings and evenings. We even saw big horned sheep once. This was the best stocked rental house we have stayed with, they thought of everything needed, from kitchen gear to a first aid kit to toiletries. Lots of thought and care put into this place. Beautifully decorated with very interesting artifacts and pictures. There are two bedrooms with queen beds on the main level and two twin pull outs in the loft. Both bedrooms have fans and sinks. Lots of storage for clothes. Loft was perfect for our teenager but It wouldn't work for smaller children due to the ladder to climb up and open edges. The loft had fans also. I was worried about it only having one bathroom from the lisitng with 2 teens, but the sinks in the bedrooms and a separate toilet room from the shower actually worked perfectly! We look forward to returning for another visit soon!

What a great place, its in a beautiful area. We saw wildlife every day around the property. This was our 2nd time here and would stay here again

Beautiful Place!

From booking the cabin to staying, this place is amazing! The wildlife around the cabin is unbelievable, and the cabin its self is cozy, clean, family friendly, overall relaxing and enjoyable! The location is perfect for getting to all the hot spots that this area has to offer! This was our second time staying at this cabin and we WILL be back!

Beautiful house, very clean. Great stay!

Perfect location for our NPS vacation. Spent our days traveling and nights grilling and sitting by fire. Mornings were visited by big horn sheep. Highly recommend.

The cabin is amazing! The location is private with gorgeous views, but central to all the activities and parks we planned for our trip to SD. Plenty of amenities and the hot tub was the best way to relax after a long day of adventures. If this is available for your vacation, don’t look any further. You won’t be disappointed!!

SD Trip

We couldn't have been happier with this property and the overall experience we had here. The management was amazing as well as the setup at the property, never have we stayed anywhere that has so many things setup for us before we got there. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great stay in Rapid City where your close to all the attractions.
