Tropical Oasis awaits in this cozy 3 bedroom single family home located in the heart of Irvine. Near the 5 freeway, travelers can easily get to all of Southern California's main attractions including Disneyland, Irvine Spectrum, South Coast Plaza, Newport & Laguna Beach. Fully furnished home is comfortable with two common area living spaces plenty of seating. One Secondary bedroom has two twin beds, the second has one queen. Master Bedroom has a queen bed with access to the outdoors and en suite Bathroom. Convenient two car attached garage for added safety and ease of parking. Located near many shopping districts and grocery stores. Play ground and park are located just around the corner from the property. Great Manager who will take care of your requests. We are looking forward to having you stay with us.

wonderful stay

I really enjoyed my stay at this house because of its location and neighborhood. In addition, the house was clean and fully equipped with all the needed tools and food that are considered to be a hospitality. In general if I return back to this area I will definitely stay again in this house because my family loved it so much. Finally, Steve is very helpful and responsive.

Great yard for the dog, but not much else

If you’re seeking a well-maintained property, do not stay here. The home is at least 40 years old and everything is original. The doors and windows are original and difficult to operate. The master shower is dangerous. The guest shower doors do not slide so you must shimmy in and out sideways. There are no table lamps, only canned lights so you feel like you’re in an office, not a home. The furniture is old, dusty and dirty. The cabinetry is filthy, inside and out. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Wonderful park across the street. Property manager was nice. He fixed a few things while we were there, but the entire house needs work.

Good potential, but beware deferred maintenance

This property has assets and disappointments. The yard is beautiful & well-maintained and the home location is quiet with a park and walkable neighborhood. Beds, linens and towels were top quality. Agent was readily available by phone. But important areas need TLC, and would greatly improve renters' experience: when we arrived, internet was down and took two days to get repaired; cable TV did not work for first SIX days, in spite of advance discussions with rental agent about it's specific importance during our stay. Fridge didn't make ice & no ice trays, barely cold enough to make ice. After waiting for 2 failed repair dates, new fridge arrived but plumbing was so out of date that new one couldn't be installed unless we waited for a plumber to come and do updates. AC could not keep up with the 80 degree heat outside. Many kitchen dishes & utensils in cupboards were dirty. Microwave carousel didn't work, stove fan quite noisy and cooktop light did not work. Living room has only stark ceiling lighting , and the switch is hidden behind the TV on the wall. Carpet was stained or frayed in multiple places, covered over with multiple throw rugs. Light outside garage side door was burned out. The BBQ would not light: instruction manual for it and for the multi-cooker would have been helpful. The house lacked many common kitchen items that we needed (some we went out and purchased): no cutting board, ice trays, mixing bowls, cork screw, dish drainer, salad bowl, or basic kitchen supplies beyond salt and pepper or scissors. In one bedroom, bedside light could not reach an outlet in order to plug in, so an extension cord would have been helpful. I appreciated that Steve, the rental agent, always responded when I called, and after we finally got internet and cable TV working and I wanted to purchase extra premium channels, he provided that at his cost, perhaps to help offset the delays in getting things working. But we had to spend significant time without wi-fi or TV and then significant time waiting for repair appointments for .wi-fi, cable, and Fridge repair and so we were too worn down to want to take on having a plumber come out to do required work in order to install the new fridge. Steve says he relies on previous tenants' report to know that something (like cable) isn't working, so that is why I'm being so detailed in this review. With some time-out for catching up with maintenance, this house would be a very pleasant home away from home.

Fantastic Warm Experience

Thanks Steve for proving such a cozy little home for my distant family in town for 2 weeks! The house was nicely set up with thoughtful munchies and it's got everything we needed from rice cooking to dishes, towels and sheets! The checkin was super smooth and the communication has been instant. We had a fantastic stay, the kids loved the big backyard, lots of rabbits visited. Will come again!

Beautiful home with a great location and fantastic back yard!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious home in Irvine. We found the location close to the major highways and shopping centers nearby (The Spectrum, South Coast Plaza, Marketplace) and the large back yard was perfect for our two small yorkies. There is a nice small park right across the street from this house that was great for taking short walks. There are also numerous small malls in this area with grocery stores and drug stores which made it so convenient. The owner was very prompt in responding to our questions and we appreciated that he stocked the home with all sorts of supplies.

Great Property

Very quiet and relaxing environment. Steve was very responsive and when you arrive you feel like you are walking into your own home. The gift basket and amenities were a special touch. We will be back for sure. My 4 year old loved the back yard and park and asked could we keep this house. James

Exactly what we needed!

We were in a pinch and needed a place to land, and we reached out 24 hours before arrival and they made it happen. The house has everything you need, even down to toiletries and coffee in the cabinet. The back yard is an amazing retreat, and the entire house has the comforts of home. Park your car in the garage, walk your dog in the park, and say hello to the friendly neighbors. Highly recommend!,

Quiet and private home away from home.

This property was truly a home away from home for us. The home is clean and situated in a quiet neighborhood and we very much appreciated the privacy. My family particularly enjoyed the huge backyard and I also very much appreciated the stocked kitchen and toiletries left for us in the bathrooms (if you happen to forget yours and that indeed happened to us). You almost really just need to bring your clothes and need not worry about anything else. The property manager, Steve, was accommodating and great to communicate with. Overall, our stay was perfect and we would definitely come back to this property on future visits.

All that we were looking for and more

We were visiting OC because we used to live there and wanted to see friends and family. Irvine was centrally located and this neighborhood (Northwood) was just as we expected: quiet , nice places to walk, easy shopping. The house was in good condition, with plenty of towels, sundries, "move in ready." If it were warmer, we'd have spent more time in the back yard which is quite spacious, and again a peaceful place. The owner was responsive to the questions I asked beforehand and at the end of my stay. Overall, it was a great experience for our family, we would readily choose it again.

Convenient and homey!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Steve really made it enjoyable and even bought a BBQ grill because we asked if one was available on the property. It is a great grill too! We were welcomed with a generous welcome basket and all the amenities you could want. Refrigerated bottle of water upon arrival was just fantastic! Best rental experience we've had thus far. The house is close to the highways, grocery stores galore and if you like Asian food there's plenty to choose from and all so yummy. The yard was huge and our toddler just loved running around in it. There's also a great playground close by that is built like a castle! Excellent! A couple of fixes here and there and it would be a five star but nothing that would make your stay anything less than enjoyable. We would definitely stay again!

Spacious house with a great yard!

The house was excellent. We had more than enough space and enjoyed the wonderful backyard. Everything was set up for us when we arrived including some special touches including toiletries and snacks that we really appreciated. We had a great stay and enjoyed the home and neighborhood.
