Location, location, location. The Villas at Santa Rosa #A102 is a gulf front condominium located next to the community pool, and across the street from Gulf Place Town Center. It just doesn’t get more convenient than this.

This lovely first floor, 3 bedroom, 3 bath property features 2 king beds, 2 twins, and a sleeper sofa to sleep 8 people comfortably. It’s light, open, and spacious with the kitchen, dining, and living area flowing together, and you’ll simply love the ease of ground floor beach accessibility. The beautifully updated white kitchen includes a large island to gather the family for homemade fish tacos, a 30A beach favorite.

If it’s possible to have too much time on the beach or by the pool, then rent bikes from one of our local bike rental companies and hit the Timpoochee bike trail for exploring all the cool and quirky beach communities along 30A. There’s never a dull moment with when you’re at the beach!

Location was PERFECT!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, roomy, and the absolute perfect location.

Absolutely no issues with the unit or the booking process. I literally booked this unit the night before arrival for my daughter and I. Sherree went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Would 100% book again. Thank you Sherree for helping us. My daughter had the best time and you helped that happen

Nice condo....terrible red tide

Condo was clean but spartan. Master bed is very firm. Kitchen updates were nice. Red tide ruined the whole week. Unable to go to the beach or even the pool.

The view from the patio and location of the condo are terrific, stay outside, the inside is terrible

I've been coming to the Destin, Santa Rosa area for twenty years and this is the worst accommodations I've ever had. On entering the condo the floors were dirty, someone had swished a dirty mop over the tile. We were excited to get in, I thought I could live with it. Things progressed from tolerable to awful. My daughter and her husband had chewed gum in there sheets, they found this early morning Sunday. We found dirty popsicle sticks under the couch, cobwebs in every corner. All of the towels had to be washed before we could use them because of a strong smoke smell on them. None of the three toilets were secure to the floor — one didn't work at all. The drain in the hall shower was full and wouldn't drain. Sand was in the cabinets — there wasn't a dish I used without cleaning it first. (how does sand get in the cabinets?) The furniture is old and stained. I expect to sweep sand off of the floor as we all come in from the beach daily, but I've never had to vacuum a place that I stayed in on day two, but this place I did. I did call Dune Realty. She was very apologetic and I did get a refund for my cleaning fee. I was told I should have called immediately on my arrival. I didn't know all of this stuff was wrong when I first came in, and I did call on day 2 (Sunday). I did not want people coming in once all of our stuff was in this condo. I refused to be inconvenienced anymore than I'd already been. The access to the pool and beach was perfect. The pool and outside shower area were pristine. Family and friends were staying in other units in the Villas and their condos were lovely. I love this area, I"ll do more research on my rentals from now on.

The perfect location

We loved this place. So convenient to some of our favorite places to eat and shop and the view is spectacular! The only downside is the unit itself could use an update. I will say the kitchen appliances were all newish and worked great, but overall the rest of the place was a little dated. Comfy living room. Also note you are right next to the pool so we brought a fan for white noise. However they did have box fans in all the closets so that was nice. Overall we would stay here again for the view and the convenience.

Great location-not well maintained

We loved the location. The unit was a disappointment. The floors turned our feet black so asked them to remop. Which they did happily. Ther was an inch of dust on the ceiling fans which was very visible. The master toilet was totally broken. The showers were weak. The water came out in the tub but trickled from the shower nozzle. The furnishings were sparse. There were only 3 chairs to the outdoor dining table and 1 lounging chair. There was only 1 blanket in the whole unit. The towels were just adequate. This unit just felt like a rental that the owners don’t ever come to so they don’t see things. The front bedroom that faces the entry hall had blinds, but should have a curtain to block the light that is on all night. My daughter stayed in another unit in the same complex, that was soooo much better. We won’t stay in this unit again.

Nice condo.

I had read a bad review in this property right before we left for vacation. The condo was very nice and all the bad reviews were not warranted. The condo was clean, great view, and the customer service at the office top notch. With all this being said the only complaint we had were our neighbors. We don't have small children and went here for a week of relaxation. Every morning between 6am and 7am the neighbors would bring all their children down to the pool and screaming would ensue. So our relaxing vacation was a bit to be desired. This has no reflection on the property or the property owners. But FYI for future guests this condo does back up to the pool and if your not a early riser and lots of children are present this may not be the spot for you.
