EXCEPTIONAL VIEW OF LAKE and mountains, 20 minutes Annecy, 300 m from beach

Possibility to be flexible in terms of dates on request to the owner. Reservations are set up from Saturday to Saturday.

This 300 m2 house on a 2100 m2 enclosed plot with a private and heated 10M swimming pool overlooks the bay of Talloires. Facing south, it enjoys an exceptional view of the lake and the Bauges massif. It has a reception lounge-dining room (3 rooms in a row of 87 m2) which opens onto a gallery-terrace
covered (30 M2). There are 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (3 with bacon lake view, 2 with terrace and lake view, 2 with mountain view);
DEPOSIT: 3000 euros by check (not banked) or bank transfer. Security deposit returned at the end of the stay.
HOUSEHOLD obligatory: 200 euros unless agreed with the owner.
EVENING / EVENTS NOT AUTHORIZED
OPTIONS:
-Sheets, duvet covers and towels: 30 euros per person.
-pool open from May 1 to September 30 (except special request made to the owner).
- rental from Saturday to Saturday unless agreed by the owner.

Great Time in Talloires

We had a wonderful week stay at this beautiful house on the hill just above Talloires.Great view of the lake.Wonderful pool for the kids.A short walk to the center of the village.

Beautiful house and if anything the pictures don't do the stunning view justice. The house is a short walk from the town which has plenty of nice places to eat and a useful small supermarket. The lake is easily accessible and absolutely fantastic to swim in and there are many beautiful locations which you give a spectacular view of it.There are many nice, easy walks in the area too.Communication with property manager was very easy, the lady who was in charge was responsive and spoke confident English which helped our group.The kitchen was well stocked so it was easy to cook for a large group.The pool was beautiful and we got clear instructions on its use.

What a view

The villa we stayed in with my whole family was absolutely stunning. The view was the best I have ever seen, with breathtaking vistas of the lake and mountains. The town itself was incredibly beautiful, adding to the overall charm of our stay. I'm already counting down the days until I can return!

Amazing spot!

This is an idyllic spot in Talloires! Our group of 9 had a wonderful time exploring the area and coming home to enjoy the amazing views and swimming in the pool! Agnes and Souria are the kindest caretakers of the property and Phillipe was very responsive with communications! We made magical family memories! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family home. 💗

Stunning

This really is the most special place , we absolutely loved our time here , largely sitting around enjoying the spectacular views that are never quite the same on any given day. The house was immaculate and had plenty of toys for our small children to enjoy . I would thoroughly recommend it .

10 old friends reunion. Blown away by the view! Great pool, though late September made the water refreshing. Great spaces inside and out for leisurely shared meals. (Did I mention the view? We all did a lot of cooking! Easy to walk down into town to the baker (croissants!) or little supermarket. (Or cafes) Hills around there great for walking , and lots of ware activities on the lake.

Gorgeous place!

Really great house for a large group. Jaw-dropping views, great pool, great kitchen, great deck and living areas. The ping pong table was a highlight for us. Some of the bedrooms and baths are new and some are quite old. They're all comfortable and the house works very well. It's an easy walk to town. Will definitely return.

Paradise in Annecy

Nothing can beat Lake Annecy and the surrounding Alps. The view from this house is stunning. Every morning having a coffee looking at the lake is paradise. Talloires is beautiful and has all the services. The house is comfortable and can host many people. Communication with landlord and host manager was great and easy. Would highly recommend.

Spectacular views from a beautiful home

Our group of 3 adults spent a wonderful week in Talloires at this spacious, beautifully-decorated and well-equipped 3-level home which offers enchanting views of gorgeous Lake Annecy from almost every room. The pool is large and beautiful. The rental, check-in and check-out process was very smooth, and the owner has been delightful to deal with. Talloires is a charming village, only an 8-minute walk from the house, and offers a wonderful local boulangerie, a variety of restaurants, and a small grocery store, as well as a variety of water recreation. The neighboring town of Menthon St Bernard also has restaurants and shopping. The house would work especially well for families with children. The locations and layouts of the bathrooms and toilets could be a bit funky for a larger group of unrelated adults; but the charm and beauty of the home and the setting are paramount. We loved our stay!

Memorable stay at Villa l'Oratoire

When booking this house, we were swayed by the beautiful pictures of the view of Lac d’Annecy. We were not disappointed, as in reality it is even better than the pictures, changing throughout the day with the light. The house was perfect for a large group, with many rooms overlooking the lake and several terraces where we could spread out. The house is located on a large property behind a gate leading to the main road leading to Talloires. It is a short walk to the town, where there is an excellent bakery, good restaurants, and a public beach. We cooked most of the time for 10-12 adults, and the kitchen and dining space was well suited for this many guests. We used most everything the property had to offer a group of adults: heated pool, pétanque court, ping-pong and bbq grill. There are many walks that start from the house and the trails are well marked with beautiful vistas of the lake. This region has a lot to see, and the house is perfectly located as a home base. Catherine, who helped us check in and out, was a joy to work when needed (rarely). And Philippe made the booking process easy. Overall, a peak experience!

Amazing Home in Talloires

We had a large group (2 families) of around 12 stay in Philippe's stunning home in Talloires and it was an amazing experience. The pictures of the house online amazingly are even more incredible in person. The house has 3 levels and was very clean and comfortable. Our group stayed in Talloires without a car, which we found wasn't necessary. Talloires is a charming town with many excellent restaurant and bakery options. Everyone in town was extremely friendly. It was easy to make reservations at fantastic restaurants even for our large group size. Flora was our favorite higher end restaurant and there is also a fantastic casual restaurant down by the lake with great prices, outdoor seating, live music some nights and excellent pizzas, veggies bows, burgers, fish and chips, etc. We also did day trips on the free bus service from Talloires to Annecy, which is a much larger city but very beautiful. Our group enjoyed swimming and recreating at the lake every day and also enjoying the pool during parts of the day. The kitchen is large and had every amenity once could ask for, even a Nexpresso machine for great coffee. I would highly recommend this home for anyone traveling to this region of France. I would also recommend Talloires as the ideal location for exploring the Annecy area.

Truly Exceptional Property

This was our second visit to Talloires and this house and it managed to exceeded our recollections. The house is beautiful, exceedingly well equipped, comfortable with loads of spaces to gather or get away, has one of the most amazing views I've ever seen, and just might be my favorite place in the world. Talloires is a gorgeous little town with a great boulangerie, a small but well equiped shop, a couple of cafes and a great range of restaurants from pizza to 2 michelin stars and it's only a 10 minute walk down the hill. There's more to do in the surrounding area than you could fit into months there - world class cycling, gorgeous hiking, kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, lovely villages, gorgeous alpine drives, day trips to Italy, Switzerland, Lyon or myriad other fabulous places - that is, if you can drag yourself away from the house! There's also a lovely path up to Roc du Cher right behind the house - it's a good heart pumping little climb which will make you feel justified having a pain au chocolate for breakfast. A new addition to Talloires is basecamp - a bike shop/cafe that rents all types of bikes - so convenient to grab a bike and ride around the lake! We all enjoyed swimming in the pool, playing bocce (I'm convinced there isn't a bocce court in the world with a better view), hanging out on the verandah, wandering into town to pick up the daily bread or grab a gelato and wander around the gorgeous harbour. Phillipe, the owner, and Catherine, the manager, are fabulous - always helpful and super responsive. We had a minor issue with one of the toilets and a plumber arrived promptly to fix it. Similarly after a massive rain (most of the time we were there the weather was amazing!) the pool clouded up but a quick email to Phillipe had the pool guy there the next morning. We were a group of 12 ranging in age from 14 to 79 and it was absolutely perfect for all. I can't recommend this property more and hope we will be able to spend time there again in the near future.

Incredible view from beautiful family home

We had a wonderful time in Talloires. The house was complete with everything you could want for a comfortable family holiday. Excellent pool, the kids loved it. Short walk into town, although the pavements were hard to navigate with young children and buggies. Agnes who greeted us, was very kind and had lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. Philippe, the owner, made us feel welcome to his family home.We really enjoyed the views from practically every room in the house. It was absolutely stunning. I hope we can come back again.

Un lieux magique!

Nous avons passé 3 jours extraordinaires dans cette maison très confortable dont la vue sur le lac d'Annecy est à couper le souffle. Le boulodrome est sans contexte le plus beau que la terre ait jamais porté. Nous y avons livré des parties endiablées qui nous laisseront des souvenirs inoubliables. Nous espérons y retourner à la première occasion!

Fantastisch uitzicht vanaf een heerlijk huis

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in mei 2023. Wij waren met 3 gezinnen, waaronder 6 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. Het zwembad was heerlijk verwarmd en op de mooiere dagen kon er dan ook al prima gezwommen worden. Het huis is een beetje verouderd (bedden, een aantal badkamers en de keuken), maar verder groot en ruim opgezet. Het huis is wel ruim, goed ingedeeld, met genoeg slaap- en badkamers voor 11 personen. Puntje van kritiek is de drukke weg waar het huis direct aan ligt. Maar, vanwege het prachtige uitzicht, ook bij minder goed weer, wordt dat snel weer vergeten. Het uitzicht is echt spectaculair. Er is in de omgeving veel te doen met kinderen in de leeftijd van 10-18 jaar. We hebben ons geen moment verveeld, ook niet bij minder goed weer. Het contact met de beheerder en eigenaar was prettig. We zouden dit huis zeker nog een keer boeken als we naar het meer van Annecy gaan!

Fantastisch huis en geweldige view

Het huis voldoet aan alle wensen. Het is ruim, er is voldoende zitgelegenheid. Zowel op het balkon, als binnenshuis, als bij het zwembad. Vooral de avonden op het balkon met uitzicht over het meer zullen wij niet snel vergeten. Annecy ligt om de hoek, je bent er in 10 minuutjes. Je kunt hier heerlijk winkelen en eten/drinken. Voor de fietsfanaten liggen er hele mooie klimmen op korte afstand. De fietspaden zijn zeer goed onderhouden. Het contact met de huisbaas was altijd correct en op tijd. De service was uitstekend. Wij hebben erg genoten van deze vakantie.

Special family holiday

We spent a lovely two weeks with three generations of family, a twice Covid postponed 80th birthday celebration for my parents. Very special memories for all of us. The villa was everything we expected and more, you can sit and watch that view for hours. Thank you to Catherine for a warm welcome and an unexpected pleasure to meet Philippe and Anne France in person during our stay. Would highly recommend this lovely home.

Simply put, we had the best holiday ever. The accommodation was faultless, the facilities were spot on, and the location was the best. Monsieur Bon is the perfect host and his home is un-rivalled.

Glorious situation!

The villa was in a perfectly peaceful and private location, where we loved the fantastic view and the pool. We particularly appreciated the comfortable seats in shade on the huge balcony which overlooked the lake where there was always something to watch: paddle boarders, boats, waterskiers and paragliders.
