Walking Distance from one of the best beaches in the Windermere Valley and minutes away from several World class Golf Courses including Copperpoint, Eagleranch and Greywolf. This bright cozy 3 bedroom cottage is the perfect summer getaway or a winter ski resting place. Spend hot summer days on the boat or laze on beautiful Windermere Beach. The beach has a park, trees, dock, picnic tables washrooms and the kids will love the sandy playground. In the Winter enjoy skating on the world's longest skating track on Lake Windermere or ski at Panorama or Fairmont ski hills. The large yard is fully fenced with greenspace, firepit and deck with patio furniture, BBQ and beautiful mountain views. Bikers and hikers have access to many trails surrounding Windermere as well as chairlift access to Panorama. Windermere offers all season activities including; world class golfing, skiing, rafting, boating, hiking, miniature golf, horseback riding, shopping, galleries, restaurants all within a short walk or drive from this idyllic vacation rental. This is a non smoking vacation home. please use the ask owner a question option before booking. Pickleball court added in 2025.

Walking distance to the beach, immense yard. Close to hot springs and easy food in both directions. We loved the night time fire pit within a wide mountain valley looking up to see bats swooping around just after sunset, followed by a clear sky full of stars. It was dark enough we could see the Milky Way. Great vacation to remember with the kids!

Quiet, safe location

Beautiful property, large fenced yard that the dogs absolutely loved. House was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. Close to everything we needed, but was quiet and safe from the larger centres. We had a great time.

Home away from home

Very comfortable, bright and clean. A large yard for children to play, with a pleasant view and setting. Close to numerous tourist attractions. We are very pleased with our stay!

Cottage Getaway

Amazing backyard, great location

The cozy cottage was situated on a fantastic property with a lot of outdoor sitting space, a fire pit and plenty of green space to play games. The location was great, nice and close to the water and an easy drive into town. The owners were easily accessible and quick to return texts/emails. Very nice vacation!

Quiet corner

Nice little property set in a big, well fenced yard. We have a reactive dog and we needed somewhere that there was little stimulation and lots of space. This place fit the bill perfectly.

A great place to stay for an active family

The house was excellent. We spent most of our time hanging out in the kitchen when we were there, but the living room was extremely cozy also. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen appliances were brand new. There was a little porch that we could store our ski equipment in. Lots of parking and a huge yard. A really cute neighbourhood that we walked around after we were done skiing. I will stay here next time I’m back in this area for sure.

We love the place, this is our 2nd or 3rd time staying.The only thing we had trouble with was the front door. The deadbolt is not aligned with the hole and we could not lock it. Also, we had trouble getting the key out upon arrival, we had to google in order to figure out how to open the realtor lock.

Rustic retreat

The check in process was nice and easy and the property is in a great location, close to the beach and has a huge yard with great mountain views - very peaceful! The property has everything you could need with comfortable beds and plenty of towels and linens. A few small points of consideration/ improvement - the doors are quite difficult to open with the key, I'm not sure why, it does require some patience though. The dishwasher requires wheeling out of its spot and attaching the hose to the sink - this isn't ideal. While the property is large and peaceful, it does need some TLC/ deep cleaning in areas. Finally on the last day we were required to drive our garbage out to the landfil - this surprised us as we've never had to do this before at vacation rentals - perhaps this is normal for the area though. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend to others .

Wonderful!

Tim and Tanya’s cottage was just perfect for our stay! The amenities were excellent, the kitchen was well equipped and everything was cozy and clean. Communication with hosts was quick and friendly. Would definitely love to stay again!

Nice cabin with great yard & deck with views in a nice location.

Stayed here for a week with my husband and 3 adult children. Clean, nicely decorated and has all the essentials for a comfy stay. Huge, well-maintained & fenced yard which our dog loved. Enjoyed the fire pit too.

Great for families

This is the second time we stayed at this property. We love the location, the big yard, and the 3 bedrooms/layout of the home. It’s big enough for a large family although we only have 2 kids. There was a heat wave when we were there (38-41 all week!) so the portable A/C wasn’t quite enough for us but if it was under 30 degrees it would have been ok. The place is cute with all the amenities you need. The carpets are getting dated- would have preferred to have hard flooring everywhere especially since it’s dog friendly. Wonderful place however and would highly recommend it for families!
