Sant' Egidio apartment is located of the ground floor of a 19th C. building and easily accomodates 3 adults (1 is sofa bed). Is a very quiet apartment since orientated to an internal court.
There are 3 stairs to enter the apartment.
The apartment is in typical Tuscan style with beams and joists. Holds 1 large master bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 kitchenette with oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, smoother and small little lounge with flat LED TV and sofa bed. In both bedroom and lounge air conditioning is available. Internet WI-FI connection is free and available together with washing machine.

We loved the location, it was perfect! It was quiet at night and had everything we needed. We were able to do our laundry which was an added plus!

The laundry service was a gift! We found enough in the kitchen to make it work for us. The surprise was a king size bed as we were under the mistaken impression that it was a standard full size bed. It was amazingly quiet for the neighborhood so we slept well. It looks just like the pictures online!

Great location, this apartment shows a little where and tear. Very close and walkable to the Duomo, museums and lots of restaurants right outside the door. We had no internet for 2 days, but it was finally restored.

Sant' Egidio was perfect for our stay. It was cosy and warm. Everything we needed was in the flat. We stayed for two weeks. We were met by an associate of the host who explained how to use the washing machine. Where the trash recycling goes etc., it as all perfect.

I loved staying here! There was plenty of room and it was a great to cook so I didn’t have to eat out every meal. I bought some great ravioli from the local market. The location was perfect to explore Florence. The bus stop was just a few steps away. Very convenient to get to the train station so I didn’t have to lug my luggage through the streets. Mirta and Francesco were great hosts and Enrico was there to greet me and show me around. I’ll stay here if I’m ever in Florence again!!!

The hosts were communicative. The pictures were accurate. The location is close to duomo and walking distance to many sights. The bed was comfy and the apartment was a 5 minute walk from grocery store. That being said, being in the heart of the city was noisy. I had a hard time sleeping due to noise. The heat was on in the apartment and host said it turned off automatically. It was warm so we needed windows open and thus the noise. Also there was an odor in the hallway leading to the apartment.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the positive aspects of your stay, including our communication, the accuracy of the listing, and the central location. We would like to clarify that the bedroom faces an internal courtyard, which is typically very quiet and sheltered from street noise. For this reason, noise is generally not reported as an issue by our guests. Regarding the temperature, the apartment is equipped with independent heat pump split units that can be adjusted as needed, allowing guests to manage both heating and cooling without necessarily needing to keep the windows open. As for the odor mentioned, we would like to specify that the hallway is part of a shared condominium space and is not directly under our control. However, we will still report this to the building management to ensure it is checked. Thank you again for your feedback and see you soon.

The location of this property was excellent! We were minutes away from the Duomo and so many shops and restaurants and even a grocery store. The check in process was easy. We stayed for 5 days and overall were very pleased. My only issue was a lack of space in the washroom or in the kitchen. There aren't really any place to put things because it's cosy and things are already there. I'm talking any groceries or toiletry bag. The shower was off it's hinge but I'm sure they will fix that as well. We managed and only told them at the end but it's tight. However, overall, for the location and the easy check in, we had a great stay.

The apartment is wonderful! The location is perfect. And there were great supplies to make our stay more comfortable and efficient. Paper products were there, spices, plenty of kitchen supplies. The towels in the bathroom were plentiful, large and soft. Use the oven, stove, top washer and dryer and dishwasher, everything worked well! The bed was comfortable and the rooms were plenty large.

The apartment was very well provided with amenities. It was clean, comfortable and very cosy. The kitchen was small but well stocked with cutlery, plates, cups etc. My only small issue was the lack of a couple of small saucepans and maybe a slightly larger frypan. We cooked at home every day so noticed this maybe more than people who go out to eat. Mirta and Franceso were excellent hosts, as was Enrico who met us when we arrived. We will be coming back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect and we were able to go back to the apartment early afternoon to regenerate before heading out again. The property is quite and feels very safe. It is quite dark, however we did not spend a lot of time there, so it wasn't am issue. It is close to buses, bars, restaurants, gelato shops (very important!) and a supermarket is close by. We ate in one night and it had everything we needed to prepare a simple mealWe would recommend the apartment to anyone staying in Florence.

Genuine hospitality, perfect location

Fabulous, extremely hospitable hosts, wonderful stay. The perfect spot for a 6-week vacation. The location is perfect, about 5-7 mins walk from the Piazza Del Duomo but far enough away to not be inundated by crowds. Close to the Mercato Sant’Ambrogio, where the locals shop, best place for fresh fruits and veggies, meats and seafood. Thank you so much to Francesco and Mirta for a fantastic 30th anniversary vacation stay. We hope to see you again!

Excellent Accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing apartment. It has loads of character, is quiet and pleasantly cool during the hot weather. My husband and I were looking as an investment a flat which was in the heart of Florence, in an ancient building and we fell in love with the beams and joists of this flat which are thypical of the Florentine style. This is also the reason why we tried to give Sant' Egidio a warm touch mantaining a very relaxing atmosphere.
