Romantic historical residence with large panoramic terrace and breathtaking sunsets

In a 17th century building, the property, which is accessed through a suggestive entrance, is enhanced by a large, furnished level terrace which opens onto the wide valley overlooked by Spoleto, Assisi, Bastia Umbra, Bevagna, Castel Ritaldi , Trevi, Montefalco and Perugia.
The residence, whose vaulted ceilings give romantic and welcoming atmospheres, is embellished with refined furnishings, is characterized by a large and particular colonnaded lounge with double sofa bed, dining table, open kitchen equipped with everything needed for a quality culinary 'do it yourself' (dishwasher, microwave and electric oven) which gives direct access to the terrace. A large double bedroom and a bathroom with shower complete the charming offer.
Outside there is also a small laundry room with sink and washing machine.
We are eco-friendly ... At Belvedere the electricity is 100% from renewable sources! :-)

It was a lovely stay with beautiful views. Manuela was very helpful and easy to communicate with. She had a lot of helpful hints in the apartment, both about the place and things to do in town. As has been mentioned, this is an old hilly town with cobblestone streets so be prepared to walk uphill and plan for sturdy shoes. The shower is one of those that is literally in the bathroom, but it was well-designed and easy to negotiate if you read her instructions.

Of all the places on our 14 day trip, to 4 different regions and 6 areas in northern Italy, this one was my favorite! The charm of this rental will stay in my memory forever. Spello is beautiful and quaint, mere words can't explain it...just wonderful. Our host, Manuela, is as beautiful as the village, inside and out. She left nothing missing when outfitting this place with everything anyone could possibly need for their stay. From the sweet gifts she left us, to the magnificent views, to the friendliness and cheerful vibe of the city. We did park a short distance from the rental, but it was very doable and worth every step to stay here. We truly hope to be able to stay here again for longer next time. Thank you Manuela.

The apartment is beautiful and I love the curved brick ceilings. Nice view of the surrounding area and a good size terrace to relax in. Manuela was very welcoming and did an excellent job of explaining all the features of the home. Easy walk into the heart of Spello. Love the town and the apartment - it was an excellent week for us!

AMAZING STAY!

Honestly we were so happy with our stay in this gorgeous home in Spello. I have no doubt that if we return to Italy, we will return to Spello and hopefully stay here again. The view from the patio was unreal and the accommodation itself was very charming. Our check in process was great, the host was so lovely with showing us around and getting us settled in. We could not recommend this stay enough.

Wonderful apartment in a charming town

This was our second stay here - we love the cozy, charming apartment and the nice view from the patio. Manuela is a wonderful host and the town of Spello is beautiful. We will return again!

A charming hidden gem...put this on your MUST STAY list!

I'm having trouble finding the words to describe our stay! The location is breathtaking, the residence was so full of history and charm. Manuela had everything you could ask for to have the perfect stay. She was also a wealth of information about the area, where to eat, shop, explore. The view...amazing. We will definitely be back!

The apartment was everything we expected, lots of character with beautiful views. Unfortunately because of the time of year we were there, we didn’t take advantage of the patio due to the temps being low. Our host Manuela went above and beyond looking after us. My wife unfortunately got sick during our stay there and Manuela dropped off homemade soup, that was delicious. Not the only thoughtful thing she did for us. We loved Spello and all it had to offer and the apartment was a treat to come back to every day.

Perfect location .

Excellent views and a perfect location to see the sights of Umbria. A spotless friendly town and this was the perfect cosy apartment to relax after sightseeing. Very cool inside due to the stone walls . Perfect on hot days . Thank wMa urla

Lovely Stay in Spello

This is a nicely located accommodation near a number of historic buildings, the Medievel city wall, the Roman acqueduct, and several monasteries. The views from the house and garden were breath taking. The furnishings were very comfortable and interesting with an artisitic flare. There was lots of room, while quiet and private, yet conveniently located. We would love to return here on our next trip to Spello..

Spectacular views!

We had such an amazing time in Spello. The apartment was more beautiful than the pictures and the sunsets we experienced on the terrace were breathtaking!!! Manuela was very responsive and provided great information on the area. We were very pleased and had a uniquely lovely time. I highly recommend staying here!!!

Beauty and History

I and my husband so enjoyed our five days in Spello. The property is unique, full of history and character with spectacular views. Manuela could not have been more accommodating and kind. We look forward to returning one day soon!

Beautiful stone apartment. Well decorated. The large patio with sunset views was amazing.

The owners were wonderful. Antonio even gave us a ride to Assisi at the end of our stay. The town is amazing and the apartment is beautiful. Very well decorated and quiet. The view patio is wonderful for the sunset. So private. Great restaurant recommendations. Comfortable bed. Can’t wait to return.

Fantastic experience

My wife and spent a wonderful week at Manuela and Antonio’s gite. The patio area over looked the plain below was a great place for an evening drink and watching the beautiful sunsets A special thank you to Manuela for help after my wife suffered an injury and needed to return home early. Fabulous location , beautiful terrace

I can’t recommend this property enough! The location is perfect. Very safe. We slept like babies. The terrace is beautiful. Everything you need is there in the apartment. The people of Spello are so welcoming. You won’t regret your stay here. We had a 2 year old with us and it was very comfortable and convenient.

Being a tourist sometime is not easy.. being a tourist with babies is really hard.. being a tourist with babies and being a perfect guest... is a 'miracle'! Loved Apartment and Spello

This apartment was our Umbrian home for 12 nights. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The beautiful terrace was appreciated and enjoyed! Spello worked well as a home base for us to explore the other towns in the area (rental car needed). The restaurants in Spello are amazing. Manuela was a great host! Thank you! Sara & Brian are a charming couple: perfect and nice under any aspect and, moreover, easy to communicate, friendly and collaborative. Their appreciation was a happy support. My plants thank for their care (!!) and the house was absolutely perfect... I deeply recommend them and hope to have them again in the future. :-)

The appartment was perfectly located - on the edge of Spello, so very quiet, but within a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. The appartment was full of character and the view high up from the terrace was spectacular. Perfect for a leisurely brunch. Manuela met us on arrival and gave us a very wsrm welcome and provided helpful information about our accommodation and Spello. She was excellent at communicating with us before and during our stay. Spello is a really beautiful place - a real gem, and a great centre for exploring the local area. Assisi is a short drive away (go early to avoid the crowds) and there are spectacular views from Mount Subasio, good walking too. We would happily return. Thank you Manuela.

The right spot

I’m quite picky when I choose places. This was a good pick. There is plenty of space, the outdoor area is perfect, the location was superb. The bathroom is small, but so was every bathroom that we stayed in while in Italy, even high end hotels. Manuela, so kindly met us late at night to show us our accommodation and made sure that all of our questions were answered. I hope to go back.
