Comfortable

I had expectations going into our stay at this property, but upon arrival, my expectations were met and then some! Such a sweet home, and all our needs were met. We brought our beloved pets, and their expectations were met too! Nice fence yard and quiet neighborhood.

Great stay

Lovely home. Great for a couple with small children. The fenced yard and deck were great for our small dog who loved running around on the grass. Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet spot in wine country

Easy checkin, nice property.. I chose it because they allowed dogs and then ended up leaving them home.. they would have loved the back yard! Enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Thank you!

Comfortable Clean Cottage

We enjoyed our stay. The house was so clean and very comfortable. The location was nice because you can walk to restaurants and near to many of the wineries in the area. Hope to return to stay in the future. Thank you!

Amazing Wine Country experience

The cottage was the perfect place for me and a couple of my friends to stay for a short trip to wine country. It was homey and very comfortable to relax in after a day of wine tasting. The communication from the property management team was phenomenal and hope to stay at this property again!

Great dog-friendly property in wine country

We enjoyed our stay and the large property for our dogs to play after some adult time wine tasting. Property management was very responsive as well.

Fun Girls Trip!

The cottage was perfect for our short girls getaway to the Wine country. The cottage was extremely clean very well equipped. I felt very homey and comfortable. Hosting fee was a bit steep but other than that it was a great place.

Wonderful time

We look forward to visiting the area every year! the location was perfect! Close to walk to everything and anything we wanted to do Dundee and to drive to all of our favorite wineries! Highly recommend this home.

Garden Cottage

Cottage was very clean and convenient. Fenced in yard was great for our dog. Dog bowls, biscuit and bags were appreciated. We would stay again!

Lovely home for 2 people

The cottage was lovely and perfect for 2 people and the yard was perfect for our 10lb dog. You're a few minutes walk away from restaurants, wineries and grocery shops. The only feedback would be to add lighting to the back yard and water the plants, the garden gas fantastic potential but is currently quite dead due to a lack of watering.

Very poor experience with lifestyle properties management throughout the stay from booking etc..

The booking process was confusing from the double process between Vrbo and the lifestyle properties place that manages the home. There were several discrepancies of the pet policy between both entities making it very confusing as to what pets were allowed or not per the rental booking. Multiple unannounced visits from landscapers to trash folks (which is very disrespectful to the privacy of the guests, not to mention the issue with potential Covid risks); I was notified one time via phone that a gardener would be stopping by one afternoon and yet they did not show up. There was miscommunication and lack of clear rules regarding pets. I was evicted early due to a cat being with our family during our stay; they stated they needed to fumigate and remove every item in the home therefore we were expected to leave early in order for them to do so. No mention of a refund or any offer to reconcile the money for a shortened stay on their behalf - which we obliged with respectfully. The “required” mid stay clean is a very odd thing in itself with a washer and dryer and cleaning supplies available within the home. The over reaction to exaggerate to a fumigation over an animal even though their policy offered a special doggie pack for dogs when they stay. Unclear standards and miscommunication again and again throughout our entire stay. This was the most over priced and most disappointing stay we have ever had the displeasure of encountering.

Comfortable and well appointed home

Our 2-night stay at The Roost was great. We especially enjoyed the lovely back yard and garden, fireplace, and the well-appointed kitchen. The location was convenient to our wine country explorations and we would definitely stay again.

Center of Wine Country & Charming Cottage & Garden

Well appointed cottage (family home) in the center of Dundee on a quiet street. Ideal for two couples, the property management team seems to have thought of everything to make your wine trip a success. (Including the Tide Pen for wine stains.) Though this house only has one large modern bathroom, it is cozy and practical. My only frustration with this listing (Vrbo) is that while doing research for the trip, the per night price increased three times over 24 hours. Apparently the cookies allows the lessor to raise the rate every time you check back. It went up $25 each time. That is really a bummer and seems manipulative. Though no fault of the listing agent, next time I'll book directly and save.

Great location

Great location. Very clean. Very charming. The only negative is the furniture- the couch and the 2 cow patterned chairs in the living room seating area are very uncomfortable. Wish the living room area seating was more cozy and comfortable to sit and drink wine and chat. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Nice getaway Cottage

Great location and property. The property sites close to a storage unit and a large open garage. It is in an area that has plenty of housing around, just something that we found odd. Amenities were clean and had no issues with the property. Great stay for our Oregon visit. Walking distance to restaurants, wineries and a brewery.

This property is precious to the Lifestyle Collection for many reasons. Not only did the founder of the business renovate this property from studs up along with her father and the owners, but her father, Keith, also was the caretaker of the past & original owner of the home and they became great friends in tose last years of his life, and we believe he would be happy to see his home used in this manner to welcome visitors to experience the Dundee area!
