KATAMA/SOUTH BEACH - Sleeps 8 - Walk or bike to town or the beach!

This Katama Contemporary Beach House has undergone a complete renovation in 2015 and is perfect for a multiple family get away. It is in a desirable location on a quiet street halfway between South Beach and Edgartown. It is designed for relaxing and entertaining with an open floor plan downstairs with two-story vaulted ceilings in the Living Room as well as a cozy fireplace. Granite countertops and all new appliances and cabinetry are in the Kitchen with a connected Dining area with seating for 12. Just down the hall from the Kitchen is a Bathroom with stand shower and brand new washer/dryer. Rounding out the first floor is a comfortable Bedroom with queen bed and large closet. The first floor deck is perfect for enjoying eating breakfast or an evening of entertaining. This mahogany deck offers an outdoor stand shower as well as brand new stainless grill and outdoor seating. A spacious basement offers additional sleeping for three in bunk beds as well as comfortable seating for relaxing and a pool table for gaming. The second floor features a large sunny Master Bedroom with cathedral ceilings and sliding doors leading to spacious deck. There is a beautiful full Bathroom with granite his and hers sink and tile shower/tub. Across the hall is a roomy Bedroom with queen bed and a side room with sleeping accommodations for one. Step out onto the second floor deck through the slider from this bedroom. A third floor loft has bright skylights and sleeping for three, great for older kids or teens. Coastal decor and hardwood floors are featured throughout this home with tile flooring in each bathroom and flat screen TV in the living room, basement, and all bedrooms. Outdoor shed has complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, clamming rakes, buckets, and beach toys. This home is ideal for 6 adults and 4 children.

The famous Martha’s Vineyard Bicycle Path is located at the end of the street. Bike to South Beach, Katama General Store, Right Fork Diner, Katama Airport, or in to Town. This home is ideal for your Martha's Vineyard vacation!

A great vacation home!

Our second time staying in this home and it was wonderful! Perfect for our family of 2 adults and 5 teenagers. House had everything we needed and the location can't be beat!

Beautiful home between the beach and Edgartown!

We loved our stay. The location is ideal between the beach and Edgartown, right on the bike path. The house was super clean and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful! One helpful thing to know is that the upstairs bedroom with three twin beds is accessible by ladder only which is tricky for little ones. We ended up putting the kids in the basement which meant the adults couldn't enjoy the rec room pool table at night. But honestly, it was totally fine and I'd recommend this house for family trips. We had an AMAZING experience!

Great house between South Beach and Edgartown

We just came back from our stay at this well-situated house, minutes from South Beach or Edgartown. Lots of room for our family and nice amenities like extra beach chairs and toys meant less for us to pack. Definitely planning to stay here again in the future!

Awesome location

House is located right on the bike path, close to town and close to the Katama beach. Perfect location right on the bike path. Huge deck with large table that sits 9 comfortably. Large outdoor shower that was very popular among our party of 9. Pool table allowed for nightly pool tournaments…. another words, never a dull moment , we had a blast.

Home away from home.

The house was perfect for our family. Very spacious. We enjoyed time on the lovely deck and playing cornhole in the yard. Neighborhood right off the bike path making this a dream location for people that like to be outside and on the move. Walking, running, and riding bikes to either downtown or to the beach. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great House/Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house. It was comfortable and in a prime location between downtown Edgartown and the beach. The owners were very engaged when we had a small issue and resolved it quickly! Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect MV vacation

We’ve rented this property several times now. It is the perfect getaway location for our family with adult children. The downstairs rec room, the open first floor and the large deck provide plenty of space for everyone. The home has all the comforts needed: well equipped kitchen, linens, air conditioning in all areas, gas grill and beach chairs in the shed. Bike trail is right there for a quick ride to the beach or downtown Edgartown. The home is well maintained, tastefully decorated and clean. We’ll be back.

Terrific home and location for family trip!

Our family spent a fabulous week in this beautiful, spacious well-equipped home in Katama. The owners were most accommodating and helpful, making us feel welcome and well-cared for! The grandkids especially enjoyed playing in the yard with the toys provided. The proximity to South Beach made for some wonderful beach time. The short drive to Edgartown made it easy to pick up groceries, etc. We would definitely book this home for another Martha's Vineyard vacay!!

Wonderful!

We had a fantastic time! Rental was beautiful! Immaculate and well appointed! Had everything we could have possibly needed. Pool table is a bonus and we had a blast playing. Would definitely come back to this house in the summer, it is a perfect location!

A beautiful week on the Vineyard

We had a wonderful stay. The house was fresh and clean and everything we hoped for. It’s perfectly located just off the main road to South Beach and Edgartown. All of the necessities were well-stocked, including basic kitchen ingredients and supplies you’re happy not to buy, and plenty of towels and beach supplies. The fresh herb garden was an especially nice touch! The owner managed communication impeccably so that we always felt well cared for - which was greatly appreciated in the Covid era. We highly recommend!

Perfect Beach House

This house was perfect for my family. Plenty of space for everyone but still a comfortable and cozy feel to the home. Very nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen had everything you could need and was very organized and neat. You could really tell that the owners take pride in this house and maintain it as if they are staying there. We've rented on the Vineyard numerous times over the past 10 years and this was by far my favorite.

Great house for multiple families! A+ Location!

This property was everything we were hoping for and more! Great location, short bike to south beach and into town, plenty of space for our 3 families. We really enjoyed the little nook off the upstairs bedroom- perfect for baby to get some quiet rest! The house was extremely clean, well taken care of and decorated beautifully. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and pool table in the basement and the yard was great for play. We have stayed in many houses on the Vineyard and this one definitely topped the list. Thanks for a great week!

Perfect Katama Beach Getaway!

We absolutely loved this private home nestled on a quiet cul de sac in Katama that’s minutes from all our favorite spots — south beach, Katama market, right fork diner and Main Street Edgartown shopping & restaurants. Everything was clean and organized, and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to the vineyard with family and friends. The owners were easy to communicate with and we had the best time!

Wonderful week with the family

The property was clean, neat and well organized. The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery and all the tools to make cooking easy!! Also the beach towels supplied made life easier. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower--we used it everyday!

Perfect week!

We had a great week on the Vineyard. Brian and Amanda are gracious hosts and we felt right at home. Can't say enough about their home-so spacious and well-equipped, right down to the beach chairs:). Loved dining on the deck at night and being greeted by neighborhood friends, Layla and Hobbs-such sweet dogs!! Our kids loved their "hangout" in the basement and the house was kept comfortably cool by the heat pump system. The house is in a great location-quiet street and close to beach and town. Had fun with the waves at South Beach and paddleboarding on the bay. Certainly looking forward to a return trip.

Awesome House!!!

We had another great week on the Island. this is the 2nd year we have had this house and we love it. Very well maintained, always clean and is anything is need the Landlord is quick to respond. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a great house in a great location near the Katama / South Beach area.
