A comfortable two bedroom, two bath, villa situated conveniently from the Kiawah beach, The Sanctuary Hotel, Roy Barth Tennis Center and East Beach Village and five world class golf courses. Kiawah Island is bordered by both the Kiawah River on one side where and the vast Atlantic Ocean on the other. Take a walk outside and get a taste of the various wildlife such as brown pelicans, egrets, ospreys, dolphin and alligators. Activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, bicycling, parks are also available. The lovely city of Charleston is approximately a half hour drive and is great to visit both day and night. The entire Charleston area offers beautiful scenery, nature, food and, nightlife and fun. Kiawah is a wonderful place for friends, a pair of couples or the family to get away from your daily life, get in touch with nature, relax and have some fun.

Fun vacation week with family.Unit is located in great location (walkable to beach, tennis courts, and park). Villa has competitive price point for area however the kitchen items were poorly stocked and or in need of replacement. Coffee mugs could have also used a good cleaning. All other parts of villa were clean. Thanks.

Excellent property in a fantastic community. The amenities are fantastic.

We stayed 4 nights at the property and were delighted with our experience. The island has great amenities that our whole family enjoyed. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Unit was better than the pictures

We enjoyed our stay. It was a nice and clean unit, had everything we needed. Convenient to the beach once we figured out the trails, and we were able to keep our dog with us (Irish Wolfhound) so all was great. Thanks!

Convenient Location! Great place to stay. Pet Friendly.

This was our second time staying here and we loved it. You can't beat the location. Just minutes away from the beach, market grocery store and the Sanctuary Hotel. Also, clean and comfortable. Best of all it is pet friendly. We will be back again. Thanks!

Perfect relaxing getaway

This place was perfect for our kiawah stay! It was just my husband and me but could have easily fit another 2 adults and some kids! Very spacious and everything was pristine and clean. The master bed was so comfy. Brian went out of his way to communicate and make sure getting into the place was easy and smooth. The location is perfect for the beach and bike/walking path. The provided beach chairs were a perk and the bathrooms are great. Highly recommend staying here- we will be back!

Comfortable and relaxing stay.

Comfortable, clean. Property Manager Brian very helpful and serviceminded. No Wifi during our stay due to Internet operator failure was reimbursed immediately without asking. Since we like to cook our own dinner we found the kitchen sufficiently equipped.

Very nice, clean, well maintained. TV was difficult to use - especially since there were no instructions. Other than that, nice place and we'd recommend to anyone looking.

Kiawah Tennis Club Villias

We stayed at this property in July 2016, it was great and actually was much better than the pictures on the VRBO site. Our check in process was easy and the unit was extremely clean when we arrived. The kitchen is nice, most appliances seemed fairly new and everything worked well. The location is good, in the Tennis Villas - so a short walk (about 10 minutes) and even shorter bike ride to the beach & The Sanctuary. Easy access to Night Heron Park. Brian was great to work with and accessible if we needed him during the stay. We would definitely book this unit again.

Bugs

After spending three nights, we were stripping the sheets off the bed as requested and there was a live roach between fitted sheet and mattress pad. Which means we were sleeping with bugs in the bed for three nights! Yuck! Unacceptable. I have not heard back from Host or Vrbo as of yet. Also the living room TV had four remotes and a stack of manuals, to use, none of which worked TV. Finally got a picture on second day but never was able to get sound bar to work. I asked local property manager how to work it when she called to check on things, she told me she didn't know either. Who wants to read a bunch of manuals while on vacation. If it had just been the TV issue I would have given four stars as it is a great location and a nice place, but bugs in the bed are too much.It's hard to recommend this place or Vrbo because of the roaches.

Great location, unit itself leaves much to be desired

PROS - the location of the unit is great, it's literally steps away from the tennis center (perfect if you're a tennis or pickleball player), and just a couple minute walk from the Sanctuary/ bike rental/ beach access. CONS- The unit itself is disgusting. I am appalled at the amount we paid to stay here to walk in and find the place very outdated. It reminds me of a place you'd stay at while on spring break in college, not a place you'd stay in while vacationing in the pristine Kiawah. The sofas in the living room smell musty and could use a serious deep cleaning (or replacement all together). There's carpet that's no telling how old, faucets/tubs are super old. The towels had little hairs (looked like short dog hairs) on them. There were also huge red ants in the kitchen every morning, so we had to spend time cleaning Re: communication, the actual owner lives in the NE; we had to track him down to get the parking passes and unit key information the day before we left. I've never had to do that with any other property we've rented at Kiawah. Owner blamed it on being busy at work - OK. Then, the actual property manager proceeds to call us at 8:30pm on a Friday evening, a whole 24+ hours after we had arrived, to ask if we had "gotten in okay". She then called again the night before checkout to ask when we were leaving the next day because "earlier is better for her to get in" - way to make us feel rushed getting out. Don't stay here unless you're desperate!

Great Accommodations for Two Couples

The condo worked very well for my wife and myself, and another couple. We all came up to participate in the Kiawah Island Marathon. The property was clean and in great condition, well-equipped, and exceeded our expectations. Great place and great service by property manager! The cleaner even checked in with us to make sure everything was right! I will definitely look up this property in the future should our travels take us back to Kiawah Island.

Tennis Club Villa

I stayed here for 6 weeks. The villa served me well. The master bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was perfect for my needs and the main TV and sound bar were excellent!! I must say the second bedroom bed was not comfortable, especially for anyone who may be overweight. Brenda, the manager was very attentive, although I really didn't need her for much. I would certainly stay here again should the need arise.

Great Service, Perfect Location

The management and housekeeping teams were outgoing and available. The unit had everything we expected and needed. The unit is a short walk to The Sanctuary Hotel, the tennis center, and the best beach in the world.
