This Victorian 19th century house is the perfect venue for family holiday, reunions, group getaways and much more, situated in the heart of Devon’s North coast,

The house, built in 1845, features 5 reception rooms, 7 bedrooms with 5 en-suites spread over 6,500sqft. It comfortably sleeps 16 people in 1 Eastern super king (2mx2m), 4 super kings (2mx1.8m), 2 doubles (1.4mx1.8m) and 4 singles (1mx1.8m). The property is heated from the environmentally friendly wood pellet biomass heating ensuring a warm stay whatever the time of year. This is further supplemented by 2 log burners to really set the mood on a wintry night.

The house is situated with 14 acres of private land. Within the grounds is an indoor swimming pool and hot-tub, and large natural lake featuring stunning vegetation and decked terrace.

High Park Barns has a secure, purpose-built 1 acre dog exercise field located on site. Designed with safety, freedom, and fun in mind, our fully enclosed field, with 1.8m high fencing, offers dogs the perfect space to run, play, and train off-lead in a safe and private environment. The dog field is open daily in the morning and evening for staying guests at no cost. Additional time can be booked during the day.

It offers easy access to beaches, moors, coastal path walks, cycle paths, golf courses, horticultural gardens, children friendly fun parks, and many other traditional outdoor and indoor recreational activities for those seeking a truly relaxing, yet active, break away from the stresses of day-to-day life.

The house is provided with a 7.2kW electric vehicle (EV) destination charger.

The house is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring them at £25 per dog per week or part thereof.

Great family holiday

We were arranging our family holiday from the age of 72 years to small children and a baby. High Park House was perfect, large sitting rooms plenty of room to relax plus six bathrooms almost a bathroom for everyone. Well equipped kitchen beautiful grounds and the swimming pool was enjoyed by all particularly during the hot weather when the near by beach would be too hot. Love to return in the future.

Lovely Property

We are a walking group of 12 people, almost all of us pensioners. High Park House proved to be an excellent base. There is a sense of space inside and out. All of the bedrooms are of good size. We took our breakfasts at the large table in the kitchen. Dinner was a more formal affair in the separate dining room. We made extensive use of the pool table. We were able to present our walk DVDs on the TV. We enjoyed the high quality separate swimming pool and hot tub. The cream tea welcome was much appreciated. A couple of minor maintenance issues were dealt with swiftly and effectively. We've been renting large house as a group for nearly 20 years and this proved to be one of the very best. Thank you!

High Park House

We had a lovely family weekend with 14 of us from 3 to 83 and so enjoyed ourselves. The space was huge, the bedrooms and bathrooms meant everyone had enough space, and the lovely kitchen was perfect for preparing food without feeling left out. The pool room was enjoyed by everyone pretty much continuously. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub both in our alloted slots and also within free time. Thoroughly recommend

What a beautiful property surrounded by stunning grounds. We loved the location and the property really worked for our large family gathering. Amazing stay

We had an amazing holiday a high park house! the location was great for sight seeing and lots of attractions nearby as well as practical things like shops. The house was stunning, so much room for our big party with lots of kids. the pool was an amazing bonus! we had bad weather a few days so it was so good we could still go swimming. All the small things were thought of even fresh milk and scones on arrival and a full tour of the house. we would not hesitate to book this house again!

Super Devon Getaway

This house was a fantastic find for our family get together. Spacious and fully equipped, we wanted for nothing. Beautiful grounds, well kept and away from any road noise. Local supermarket close by and easy access to the A39 to assist with access to beaches. We had such an enjoyable stay, I would definitely recommend.

New Years Break with friends

Had a fabulous stay at High Park, house is perfect for a large group, kitchen a brilliant area and plenty of rooms to take yourself off for quiet time, bedrooms spacious and bathrooms very clean. Pool area a great place and booking system worked perfectly, and lots of garden space too!

Celebratory family holiday

Family holiday of 3 generations, we all enjoyed our stay. The indoor pool and hot tub were a big hit with everyone and the games room with the pool table provided good entertainment in the evenings. Lovely grounds for outdoor use. Would recommend to anyone with a large group.

Great holiday let

We were a party of 16 coming together from all sides of the uk. This was the first time the family /grandchildren have all been together and the house offered everything we could hope for. The little touches made a difference and were very welcome. Scones, cream and jam 😋 The pool was amazing and the rota worked really well . Everyone really enjoyed it Maggie

The Best Holiday Home we have stayed in!

High Park House is in a league of its own. So well proportioned, decorated and equipped. We had everything we needed. Anne-Louise and Paul were perfect hosts and I couldn't recommend this place enough. The swimming pool was the icing on the cake, a perfect place to go to meet up with all our family. We very much hope to return as we're all having withdrawal symptoms!
