The 'Aussie' Beach House

Your own 'Aussie' beach house features a great beach on Lake Michigan. Fully renovated and freshly painted in 2023 with 3 bedrooms and a new kitchen with all stainless steel appliances.
This unique property is located on two lots on Lake Michigan and backs up to the Silver Lake sand dunes. The beach house has a 1000sf deck and a great patio with views of Lake Michigan and has a private firepit nestled in the dunes. This is the perfect spot for your family vacation. Property comes with a new golf cart to help you take beach chairs and toys to the beach.
You are 10 minutes from Pentwater and Hart with easy access to horse riding, golfing, boat and Jetski rentals and all the different festivals that are on throughout the year. Michigan Adventure is only 30 minutes away for the kids!!

Great location

Great location for anyone doing the dunes on a daily basis. Other than the grass needed to be mowed it was perfect for our get away.

Enjoyed our long weekend here. Close to places of interest we visited (Silver Lake, Pentwater, Ludington). Enjoyed the beach very much. The golf cart was very helpful. My 78 year old mother did have a hard time with the walk up and down to the beach. At first glance when booking, it looked like it was on the beach, but it is a trek. I wish the trees were not blocking so much of the view of the lake also.

Great place on the lake

Kevin‘s place was fantastic. Had everything we needed. The golf cart was very helpful to get to the beach. We would recommend this place.

Great for a family and a dog!

Loved our stay! Has all the things you need and more! Loved having the golf cart to take to the beach and around the neighborhood. Kevin was great to rent from. We would definitely come back again!

Amazing!

Owner and place is amazing! Could not have a better location. We enjoyed everything the area has to offer while being in a well renovated place that kept us very comfortable. The golf cart was awesome as was the beach. Looking to re book already!

Relaxing and Refreshing

We had the most wonderful week at the Aussie Beach House. It was just what we needed before going back to school. It was quiet, clean and well located. We had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for anything more.

Family memories at the beach house 2023

My family & dogs had a great time staying in the beach house with all the comforts of home…The beach house view from the back deck has a gorgeous view of lake MI. Also, there is a golf cart to drive around the small quant area as well as to the walkway down to the dunes. We will definitely be back to this lovely place!

Just what we needed

This was the perfect little getaway spot. It was nestled in a beautiful little neighborhood that was quiet and friendly. The house had every amenity that you could possibly need for a few nights stay. Internet was great. We had no issues the fire pit bonus, especially with the stars. Cannot wait to come back

Relaxing and comfortable.

My husband and I took our grandsons ages 15 and 4. The beach was only a short golf cart ride away. We brought our rzr to play on the dunes. There was plenty of room for our trailer. We had such a great time and would love to come back!

Beach get away

The inside of the house was in really nice shape and really enjoyed the deck. Wish the view had not been interrupted by all the trees but did not stop us from enjoying the deck. Very comfortable, really enjoyed the spacious kitchen, had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Would have appreciated a welcome "page" to explain the WiFi and miscellaneous house uses.

Fun Family Time

My husband and I were joined by our adult children to have family time near Lake Michigan. We found the cottage to be very well equipped for grilling, making s'mores, going to the beach, and just staying in to play cards and laugh. The large porch and ample living spaces made our time together wonderful. The owner was easy to contact and made sure we had what we needed. Maybe we'll try for another family reunion next summer!

Very comfortable house, Very well appointed

Everything you need for a comfortable stay in an "Aussie Beach House" atmosphere. Owner was responsive (both by message and phone) to issues we ran into. The beach was farther and harder to reach for my husband and me, but the kids all enjoyed it. The 3 air conditioner units kept the house comfortable. And we had fun in the area with Silver Lake and the dunes.

Beautiful views and lots to explore

We had a fantastic stay - the views are amazing, listening to the lake waves, watching the sunset and seeing the stars crystal clear at night! The home had all the necessities and a lot of nice extras - like fire pit, kid toys, golf cart, lots of beach towels, and games. Well designed home - Everything felt new, very clean and neat with and mostly new feeling fresh bedding and supplies. My son loved being able to play in the sand IN the yard and proximity to the beach was perfect! Highly recommend!

Beautiful

Very nice! Wifi and cell service was limited. I wish it had a better waterfront view but not property owner’s fault. Next time we will have the kids brings the winter sleds of more dune sledding. So much fun!

BOOK THIS HOME NOW!!!

My family and I had the best time at the Aussie House. The home includes all of the creature comforts that you could ask for and then some! It is beautifully decorated and includes the most amazing porch. We could have spent all day on the porch listening to the waves crash on Lake Michigan. Along with the home, you have access to a beautiful private beach that is a short golf cart / bike ride away. The beach was perfect, quiet and relaxing. If you are feeling adventurous, there is a pathway by the home that leads into Silver Lake Sand Dunes. You can view the most AMAZING sunsets from the top of the dunes. We were sad to leave. Thank you for opening up your home to us! We hope to see you again…

Memorable weekend getaway

My husband and I were feeling pretty burnt out with running a business during this crazy pandemic. We weren't comfortable traveling anywhere by plane just yet so a road trip was the way to go this year. This quaint beach house is just what we needed to get away and reset for 4th of July weekend with our family. Check -in process is smooth. Home was very clean and well stocked. Beach is walking distance with Silver Lake nearby. The wifi was a little shoddy but we were there to unplug from the rest of the world. What really pleasantly surprised us, were the neighbors. They were so kind to us and our dog - we just had to share some of our bbq with them! Overall a very lovely stay. Would recommend to others. Lees family, thank you for sharing your home with us :-)

Great location for the dunes

This home was beautifully decorated inside and nicely kept up. Keep in mind there is no central AC, but there are window units in the bedrooms. These kept the home sufficiently cool, and thankfully the weather was not terribly hot when we were there. Additional fans in the living areas would have been nice for extra air movement, but we were fine without them. The location to the sand dunes entrance was really convenient and that is primarily why we were there. The beach “location” is deceiving as the lake can be seen from the property, but not accessed without driving or walking to the end of the housing area and walking down a steep hill to the beach area. We chose to drive our machine through the dunes to the beach that way and it worked well for us. Overall, we would stay in this home again!
