WOW what a VIEW!!! Wonderful Cottage on the beach with pool

This new (2017) 4 bedroom oceanfront condo is great for a sun and fun week at the beach. It features beautiful views of the Atlantic and has plenty of amenities, including an oceanfront pool (open after April 1 (depends on pool inspection process) and usually stays open through October 31st), just steps from your door, a covered ocean side porch with a large deck, and is creatively decorated and furnished with your basic beach needs. As part of the condo association, you have free access to the intercoastal waterway for boating, great fishing and crabbing, as well as multiple tennis courts and 2 other pools. This home away from home also includes parking for 6 with room to spare, an outdoor shower, water toys, Streaming Service, W/D, MW, DVD player as well as wireless Internet service. The beds include 1 King, 2 Queens, 2 twins, and one set of bunk beds (twins). Note that linens are not included in the rental rate. We only rent on a 7 day basis (from Saturday to Saturday). Come, relax in our colorful rockers and enjoy watching the dolphins and shrimp boats as they make their way along the coast.

Minimum age to sign rental agreement is 25 years.

Great house right on the beach!

Enjoyed this great house, spotless, well organized kitchen. Large outside decks with many rocking chairs, and a clean cabana. We are beach walkers and ocean swimmers, but also liked the pool. One plus was to get in at noon the first Saturday, so we did and had a sunny first day on the beach!

The house was a great place to stay on OIB with a great location and the ocean front pool. The house is really nicely decorated with incredible artwork made by the owner and had plenty of space for our family to have dinner together. We especially enjoyed eating meals at the table on the deck. The rocking chairs on the deck were a favorite too.

We carried our children and grandchildren on a great OIB vacation. The weather was perfect except for Hurricane Erin which caused red flags from Tues-Friday, but no rain. The house is exceptionally well stocked in the kitchen and as a bonus there are boggie boards, pool floats, and small nets for shelling in the storage room. We ate out one night at Sharky’s and also at Oyster Rock in Calabash. Oyster Rock gives huge servings so think about sharing. The views from the house are incredible. Overall a great trip.

This was a wonderful experience; probably one of our favorites in OIB, and we’ve been visiting for 20 years. Beautiful home with more than enough room, excellent location, super clean and kind/prompt communication with the owner. The porches and easy walk to the beach made it absolutely perfect for our family which includes my elderly parents. The only bad part was leaving which is always so hard. Hope to be back soon!!

Another Great Stay

This was our second stay at this oceanfront cottage. Beautifully decorated and has all the amenities that you would need. Owners wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend. Oceanfront views were spectacular!

Wonderful trip

We had a great time in a wonderful rental property. The house set up fit our family of 10 perfectly. Had some rain but the out door deck and covered area allowed us to still enjoy the ocean view. Highly recommend this property and the Ocean Isle Beach area!

Great Stay

This was the first time together on vacation for our newly combined family. 8 adults and 2 children. We loved it. The house was clean with modern amenities, and it was located right on the beach with a swimming pool. We had a great experience.

This is an amazing house. It is super clean an organized. Everything you could possibly need in a kitchen was there. The hosts were super helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time - we would stay again and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on OIB. We have been coming to OIB for 10+ years and this is one of the best places we have stayed. The house was very well kept, great furniture, comfortable beds and amazing location. Right on the beach with great muti level decks and direct pool access as well. 5/5!

Amazing home and owners!

Second year staying here and already looking forward to it again next year. The owners are wonderful to deal with. Quick communication if needed. House is perfect. Nicely decorated throughout and kitchen stocked with anything you may need during your stay. Highly recommend!

Best rental property at Ocean Isle beach!

I would give this property 10 stars! We loved this rental! I loved the open feeling, view of the ocean, big dining table inside and out! Loved the decks and big back porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the sounds and view of the ocean! Another great feature is the outside shower/dressing room! So much thought went into your rental to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable! We loved the pool and very short walk to the beach!

Oceanfront Oasis

Ocean Isle Beach is our favorite family vacation and we have been enjoying our weekly stays for many years. This rental by far is the most beautiful and well organized rental we have ever been to. It’s an “absolute dream”! You couldn’t have asked for anything else, the amenities were superb and the owners communication was excellent! Our family would love to make this rental our “go to” happy place!

We currently live in New Bern, NC where we moved in 2020. Sheri grew up in Raleigh, NC and went to school at UNC - Charlotte. Robert grew up in Atlanta and went to NC State University. Our kids grew up in Chesapeake public schools. Aslyn graduated from William & Mary and Kaity graduated from Virginia Tech. We love anything outside - we hike, camp, garden and have our own Koi pond.

We inherited this property in 2014. Our family has been coming here since 1990 and it is like our second home. Our kids would never let us even think about selling it!!! So many wonderful memories here. With the pool and ocean basically right outside the door, it doesn't get much better than this! The cottage was originally named "Country by the Sea" by Sheri's parents back in 1990. Due to structural issues, the unit had to be completely torn down and rebuilt in 2017. We have changed the name to "Adventure by the Sea" because there is really nothing country about it anymore (and adventure describes our family much better!). It was a long process to get this unit rebuilt, but the blessing is that almost everything inside and out will be brand new with the same quirky style as before. Association has 3 pools - one of which is basically right outside the ocean side porch. The pools are maintained and open after April 1st (depends on pool inspection process and is out of our control) and usually stays open until October 31st each year. The view is outstanding. With new rockers, you can spend hours outside enjoying the view.
EVERYTHING is BRAND NEW, except the view and a few pieces of furniture, and now we have an upstairs view and deck!!! What more could you want?
