THE PLACE

This picturesque airconditioned house in Porto Rafti is ideally located near the beach (10minutes on foot, 800metres). It is just a short 15-20 minutes drive from the airport and a 20 minute drive away from the city of Athens.
The house is beautifully decorated in a traditional greek style, while at the same time offering all amenities of a comfortable and relaxing home. Our house can accommodate up to 8 people (10 people using the sofa/beds). All design features, characteristics, decoration and amenities of this wonderful property are dominated by simplicity and functionality. Ideal for couples, friends and families with children. Our big garden is also ideal for pets. A bbq is also provided.

The view to the garden is beautiful and serene, full of blossoming trees and the mediterranean countryside. In close proximity one can find restaurants, supermarkets, cafeterias, entertainment places, cinema etc. The popular beach of "Agia Marina" is 800 metres, the popular beach of "Avlaki" is 1.8 kilometres away from the house and the beach of "Panorama" is 2.5 kilometres away.

During the summer periods the area is filled with holiday goers and gets quite busy due to its beautiful location.

FACILITIES

The house consists of a large living room with fireplace, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishing and washing machine), 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (plus 2 sofa beds) and a large and beautiful garden. The garden is around 2000 sq. meters. The house is beautifully decorated in a traditional greek style, while at the same time offering all amenities of a comfortable and relaxing home.

We have a plastic soccer table and a swing in the garden that you/your children could use. A bbq is also provided. The house is air-conditioned.

A baby crib is also provided.

Travelers can use all of the space.

Transfer to and from the airport can be arranged upon request.

Master bedroom has a double bed and a sofa bed, big wardrobes and an en suite bathroom.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed, a single bed and big wardrobes.

Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds (plus a sofa bed) and large wardrobes.

The house can accommodate 7 people, without the use of the sofas/beds. It can accommodate up to 9 people using the sofa/beds.

We provide sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, hand soap, shampoos, washing machine and ironing facilities.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Porto Rafti is a seaside resort town in East Attica, Greece. Porto Rafti is situated on the Rafti Bay, a bay of the Aegean Sea, on the east coast of the Attica peninsula. It is 5 km south of Vravrona, 6 km east of Markopoulo and 26 km southeast of the center of Athens.

Porto Rafti is nowadays known as a famous seaside resort, as there is the municipal famous beach (Avlaki).

Being one of the closest sea destinations to Athens (20 minutes from the centre of Athens), Porto Rafti is an excellent staging point for day-trips and excursions. Day-trips to Athens to visit the Acropolis, museums, and various other historical sites are highly recommended, as are trips to the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus.

Getting around

A bus stop is available only 500m away. 10-15 minute taxi ride from the Airport. 10 minutes walk to the beach. 5 minutes walk to the local supermarket. 20 minutes drive to the centre of Athens.
