Glacier Springs Cabin #21 - This Pet-Friendly Family Vacation Home Says Cabin in The Country!
Your family will have a delightful time in this 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath log cabin with a natural pine interior. The first floor features a large, open, and airy kitchen/dining/living area with a dishwasher, vaulted ceilings, complimented by a wood stove, (firewood provided), and a breakfast bar. There is one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, a second bedroom with 2-twin sized beds, and one full bath augmented by a laundry cubby with a full-size washer/dryer. The second floor features a loft sitting area, a primary bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, and an adjoining full bath. Exterior features include a wrap-around deck and an enclosed summer porch. This Wi-Fi-equipped, pet-friendly (2-Pet Maximum, No Exceptions) and monitored vacation property will sleep up to 6-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:
** Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. The service is currently subject to failure. Intermittent service failures are circumstances that are beyond our control. No refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly.

** This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to treat this private residence with the utmost respect at all times, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee's actions and would be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. Very cute little cabin. The ladies at the office were so nice. Our only complaint was there was extremely limited hot water - really not enough for one person much less three. But we made it work.

Relaxing cabin

This cabin was a very relaxing place for our family to stay. The river was a short walk away, it was quiet and peaceful. Hikes and trails were nearby. We had a great stay!

Tranquil Long Weekend Get Away

My wife and I (and our pupper) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful and private cabin in the woods. We sought out a calm weekend without distraction and certainly achieved our goals here. Cute and tasty restaurants in the area. But we were equally as happy staying in and just watching the rain fall in the incredibly lush vegetation. Very well appointed cabin complete with some fun puzzles and a handful of movies as well.

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cozy cabin! It was well equipped and even had toys and bath toys to make the stay even more enjoyable with two small kids! We did some local hikes and enjoyed coming back to this homely cabin in the woods, which feels so secluded even though there are plenty of other houses around. I hadn't read that there was no wi-fi but this was a pleasant surprise and meant that we could all actually enjoy each others company :-) Would definitely recommend!

Cozy Cabin

This was a beautiful clean cabin in the woods, and the listing was as described. My friends, and my dog had a great time. There is cell service reception for T-mobile, but I recommend downloading offline maps or saving the detailed instructions provided in the check-in email. There is a creek nearby with gorgeous views of Mt Baker which we couldn't get enough of.

Wonderful stay!!!

Gorgeous cabin with everything we needed except WiFi and spices/ condiments (due to COVID, we understand!, but could have been posted on the listing). Within an hour or so, my family got over the no WiFi part and we really enjoyed our stay! I was glad to get them off screens! LOL. We did get a few strange calls on the cabin phone around 10pm of a man looking for a girl named Monica, it was rather creepy, but he finally stopped calling. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, we love Mt Baker and will be back!!

On the property description it states that there is "no wifi" and on the reservation materials that are automatically sent in conjunction with all confirmed reservations, it states that; due to local health department regulations, we are unable to provide any form of "food product consumables, including spices and condiments". This is not due to COVID, but is regulation that has been in effect for a number of years. Unfortunately, we have no idea who "Monica" is. It may have been a member of the last Guest's party, but we really don't know for certain. In any event, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Well appointed and comfortable. Everything you need.

Although this cabin is in a housing development you never really see your neighbors because of the beautiful trees and vegetation. We enjoyed the back porch every evening with no feeling of being surrounded by other people, it felt private and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the "creek" just a short hike from the house. This creek is like a fast moving river, very beautiful! The cabin is roomy and very comfortable. The only issue we had was with the hot water heater, being an "on demand" heater should have given ample hot water - not sure what we were doing wrong. The owners said it usually works just fine. The only other point I would like to make with the management is the laundry. I am sensitive to smells and it is very important that my bath towel smells nice and clean. I think the fact that the outgoing guests are required to run a load of towels upon leaving gives the towels the opportunity to sit in the washer wet for too long. If the cleaning person comes in and just throws them in the dryer they will smell dirty! I think that's what happened and therefore I had to wash the towels before I could use them! Not a huge issue since the washer & dryer are there and soap was available. However, it did make me worried that I had used all the hot water for showers when we started having hot water issues! Otherwise this is a beautiful place and I would definitely stay here again.

Mountain Refuge

This cozy cabin in the woods was a great place for us to rest and re-energize. We used it as a launch pad to go ski at Mt. baker ski area. Super fun.

Great family vacation!

Wonderful mini vacation for our family. It was nice to not have WiFi or service for a few days and have family time!! The girls absolutely loved having different toys to explore! Although we brought our own, there were some kids toys for them to enjoy. Thank you!!

Perfect home base

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! It has a great amount of space, comfortable beds and is kept exceptionally clean. There are even some toys for kids:) You can tell it is loved by he family who owns it. The only thing we were surprised by was there are no extra dish towels, paper towels, salt & pepper, or cooking oil - so bring your own!

Hi Bridget: Thank you for the glowing review for family Cabin #21! We are delighted to hear that your family had an enjoyable stay at the cabin, and found it to be the "Perfect Home Base". We would like to thank you for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. Regarding paper towels; there should have been two rolls of paper towels (one on the kitchen counter, and one kept with the bevy of soaps, detergents, cleansers, and plastic trash bags located above the refrigerator). Thanks for pointing out the lack of spices, oils, etc. The reason for this is due to local health department regulations concerning potential product tampering and rancidity. Although this information is provided in advance in conjunction with the confirmation materials that are sent out with all confirmed reservations (part of the PDF packet), it always bears repeating. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next trip to Mt. Baker :) Happy trails, Dan
