This established oceanfront cottage is located in Atlantic Beach and offers plenty of room to spread out. Private apartment has its own entrance with kitchen, dining and living area. Open kitchen and dining room is located on the main level. The second floor has 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath. A large sun porch opens onto the deck. Private walkway to the beach.

All rates are subject to a departure cleaning, linen and reservation fee, 12.75% sales tax and a $79.00 Vacation Rental Damage Protection Plan. All fees and taxes are subject to change without notice.

We rent to family groups, married couples, or mature adults over the age of 25. We do not, under any circumstances, rent to groups for proms, graduations, college house parties, etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.

All prices and/or descriptions are subject to change. Although every precaution is taken, errors in prices and/or descriptions do occur on our web site and in printing. We reserve the right to correct any such error.

1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $1,500 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

Full of character

The house dates to the early 1900s and transports you to a time where beaches weren’t so commercialized. Thanks for letting us enjoy this special place.

Great Family Experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our multigenerational family really enjoyed our stay, right on the beach, in Hall Cottage. The house was plenty big for all 10 of us! There are only 2 full and 1 half bath, so if you're into your own bathroom, go somewhere else. But we never once had any issues of not being able to access the facilities somewhere in the house.The beach is just steps away, and the house is comfortable and well stocked.We would return to this house.

Just beachy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Hall Cottage for two weeks with various family members coming and going. We found the layout very congenial to family meals in the kitchen, on the deck and in the screened in porch. Cannon & Gruber responded to requests for straightening the bed frames (the floors are delightfully uneven) and pest control (so more dead palmetto bugs and ants than live ones). The AC works GREAT. Kitchen is best equipped of any rental we have had. Two refrigerators is the bomb. One last pest surprise: a copperhead appeared on the deck, but Cannon and Gruber quickly addressed that with Snake Away and is going to look into landscaping. Never saw it again. The front left stove burner in the main kitchen could use some attention - basically has one setting (high).

Location! Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Second year we've stayed at the Hall Cottage. Fabulous location. Not too close to the Oceanna pier, but a great point to walk to and have breakfast. Literally within steps of the Island Grille! (We always make reservations before leaving home)and just a short walk to downtown. We've been coming to Atlantic Beach for over 25 years and this was our 2 stay at the Hall Cottage. The attached apartment was ideal for us--it's like getting 2 houses for the price of one. The enclosed porch is wonderful for sitting and reading. For an oceanfront cottage, the price is perfect. The downside is it's very dated--if you're expecting deluxe accomodations, this isn't for you. 4 bathrooms upstairs share one tiny bathroom. When it rains, the carpet & furniture seem damp, resulting in a musty smell. Furniture is old. This year, the house was not clean--we had to spend a couple of hours vacuuming under the beds and washing all the bedspreads. We're also campers, so we're not opposed to dirt, but the rooms (including the bathrooms), just didn't seem clean.Wonderful to see all the activity on the Circle again, including the movies on the beach and the new buildings. Rented bikes, visited the aquarium, spent a morning in Beaufort and the rest of the time, parked ourselves under the umbrellas at the beach. Great family beach--kids everywhere!

Rustic and right on the beach

If you are looking for brand new construction this one is not for you. The place has character and charm. So many beach memories have been created in the Hall Cottage, I’m glad we were able to create some of our own there. Thanks for a fun week!

Good location, lots of room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is big enough for our 11 visitors with plenty of room and some to spare. The apartment part of the house has it's own entrance and a door into the house also. It has three different air conditioners so you can keep the temp in the apartment different from the rest of the house which came in handy with the older folks being able to stay a little warmer than everyone else. With five generations under one roof the space, the number of coffee pots, toasters etc. the separate kitchens, it all made it easier to have a good time together as a family. I wish the door to the deck from the apartment worked, it is currently not working but they have a new one ordered. Super location, walk over the dunes and you are at the beach, several restaurants within walking distance. We will be back!

Family Vacation

Not what we expected

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was dirty when we got there. It looked like all the did was change the sheets. Floors had orange sticky stiff on them, counter tops had coffee rings left, a strong smell of bug spray, fridge did not keep our stuff cold. We will not be staying here again!

Renter's Beware! Ants all over gourmet muffins 1st night followed by spyders and roachs!!!!!

Theses problems were just the start. Linens came from a correctional facility and the mattresses from an out of business thrift store. Years of travel and we have never experienced such disregard to the renter. Refrigerator had only 1/ 2 a shelf and dirty. You can not prepare food in this dirty kitchen that has inadequate pots pans utensils. No comfortable furniture throughout the house. All are years worn. To top the dismal experience of the living areas, the washroom downstairs was flooded with a overwhelming odor of mold and mildew. This place is totally bust.... The owners have never done anything to this property since it was built in 1940. HORRIBLE ACCOMMODATIONS BEWARE
