NEW Lisbon downtown Houses

This house was built in 2016 where, in former times, was located carpentry of the Pink Palace. This carpentry, hands of craftsmen shaped dreams and become real many pieces of furniture of the nineteenth century manor. In the eighteenth century it worked out, this carpentry, for days to rebuild the Pink Palace that was virtually destroyed after the 1755 earthquake.
New house - duplex (built in 2016) very comfortable, beautiful and well located in the heart of downtown Lisbon. With the possibility to meet and explore on foot around the historic center from the São Jorge Castle, the Cathedral of Lisbon, the Palace Square, Rossio and Baixa - Chiado. Situated near area with many typical restaurants (Fado) and nightlife. Excellent metro access, train, bus and boat.
1. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to stay at home. If you are traveling with infants or children should mention it to the apartment to be prepared for the correct nr guest.
2. If you want to enter before the standard check-in time or leaving after the standard time to check out, shall confirm with us if it is possible.
3. Parties or events are not allowed in the apartment. Smoking is not allowed.
4. Please let us know if anything is damaged or broken, so we can replenish.
5. When leaving the house turn off electrical appliances / gas, air conditioning and close the doors and windows.
6. Guests are responsible for removing waste.
7. The house must be left clean and tidy. If the check-out is found very dirty and messy, an additional fee of € 15 per cleaning time will be charged.
8. Disregard of these rules may entitle the expulsion of the house, without refund of any amount.

House not suitable for wheelchairs or persons with reduced mobility (Street with stairs to access the house and stairs inside the house).
The house has no key or magnetic card (has input code). After payment of accommodation will receive by email an access code. Please keep it and not transmit it to strangers.
It has TV, Wifi and air conditioning.
Home with all the amenities and warm, you want to be a haven for unforgettable holidays and memorable moments.

The perfect place

Such a cute place right in the heart of old Lisbon. Everything was a 10 min walk or less. Loved the place, would highly recommend, the host was very accommodating and quick to respond. A lovely place to stay

Great Stay!!

Thanks to Maria for a great experience on our first trip to Lisbon. Maria provided several messages with great information and suggestions for our trip before we even arrived, and continued to be quick to respond throughout our trip. The apartment is just as advertised and was immaculate when we arrived. As others have mentioned, the steps up to the apartment require one to be physically capable. The street just below the house has great restaurants…perfect for breakfast or when you don’t want to go far for dinner. One note…upon arrival we did not realize how high up on the hill the apartment is and decided to walk with our luggage from Rossio Square. SO MANY STEPS!!! I’d highly recommend taking a taxi to the address Maria provides when first arriving with bags. That way you only have the steps to the apt to contend with. After that…we considered all the steps and hills a perfect way to burn off all the pastries we were eating!!

Dear Michelle, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback. New Lisbon Downtown House is a modern house in the historic part of the next to S. Jorge Castle. As you veryfied, Lisboa is the city of "seven hills", allaways going down and up (in many cases with steps). More confortable with lugage is to go from the airport to the New Lisbon Downtown house, By taxi or Uber (you can go also by subway bout, as you said, it is not so confortabla!). In Lisboa, you can allawys have snack with Pastel de Nata, a special and delicious small cake to get energy to "discover" all the hills in Lisboa ;) I am so happy that you enjoyed your experience. Ottima proprietà

Casa nel cuore della città in una via molto silenziosa. A piedi si arriva tranquillamente a dei bei ristorantini,al castello e all'Alfama,il quartiere più vecchio della città. A pochi passi c'è anche un supermercato e una tintoria. La casa è molto confortevole,dotata di tutto il necessario. Pulizia impeccabile e host molto disponibile a darci tutte le informazioni necessarie. Raccomandato per la vostra vacanza a Lisbona 😁👍

Great stay in Lisboa !

We enjoyed our stay in Lisboa thanks to Maria's apartment which is well located, in a quiet street but in a very nice neighborhood with good places to go out. Maria is very reactive by message and she even gives advice on how to make the most of your stay, she is great :) thank you Maria!

9 days' stay in townhouse in the centre

The location of the house was fantastic; in a very quite sidestreet of the busy citycentre. Good restaurants almost on your doorstep! It was very clean and brandnew with a great kitchen. Suggestion: The only thing we missed was a dimmer for the lights, a bedtime ligth for the sleeping sofa and perhaps an outdoor bench. Thanks very much for a wonderful stay.

Ho soggiornato 8 notti in questa struttura a fine settembre 2019 con mio marito e le nostre 2 figlie di 7 e 1 anno. La pulizia è impeccabile, la posizione ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro città. Maria, la padrona di casa, è gentilissima e molto atgtenta: ha fornito la culla per la bambina piccola e il seggiolone per mangiare; inoltre un giorno abbiamo avuto problemi con la serratura ed è intervenuta in neanche 5 minuti! La casa è completa di ogni accessorio per la cucina, asciugamani e lenzuola. È anche presente una macchinetta compatibile con le capsule Nespresso per il caffè, che da buon amante del caffè ho apprezzato molto. Nelle vicinanze della casa sono inoltre presenti sia un supermercato che una lavanderia a gettoni (la lavatrice purtroppo manca). Le uniche 2 cose da tenere presente sono che per raggiungere l'appartamento bisogna fare una scalinata (come in quasi tutti gli appartamenti della zona, ma per noi con il passeggino non era comodissimo) e che la ringhiera tra la cucina e il piano sottostante con la camera da letto e il bagno aaha degli spazi molto larghi, quindi pericolosi per chi ha animali o bambini piccoli.

Spannendes Downtown-Haus in zentralster Lage

Wir haben unsere 5 Tage Lissabon in diesem unglaublich gut gelegenen Innenstadt-Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist phantastisch und in nur wenigen Gehminuten lassen sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Das Haus an sich ist architektonisch reizvoll und irgendwie besonders. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr angenehm, die Antworten kamen sehr rasch und alles hat sehr gut gepasst.

maria was a great host

Maria was extremely responsive and helpful re: all of our questions. we especially appreciated being able to check-in to the apartment very early after our early morning arrival. The fact that entry is by a code made that process very simple. The apartment is as described--everything is new. The air conditioning is quiet, easy to adjust, and very effective. There is a very good shower with plenty of hot water. Be prepared to walk up some steps from the primary road access to the apartment. My wife and i are both 70 and managed OK but if you have problems with steps, this apartment may not be the best choice for you. But i would also say that in general, you will need to deal with lots of steps and hills throughout Lisbon.

Wonderfull and safe area

This house is on the oldest part of Lisbon and is in a great location. The area is wonderfull and safe. It is also near (walking distance) a lot of activities, restaurants and it's not too touristy. Thank you Maria!

Top Location, clean and supernice hosts

The brandnew townhouse is located in a small street below the castle in Lisboa. Maria welcomed us superfriendly and provided us with great service, answering questions and giving good recommendations for the city. The house has 2 floors one big bedroom and a good sleeping couch. Indefently recommend stying there:)
