Localizado no coração do bairro mouro e judeu medieval de Alfama, o apartamento tem uma vista deslumbrante da água sobre o estuário do Tejo. A uma curta distância a pé de muitos dos principais museus e monumentos de Lisboa, o apartamento fica próximo de mercearias e supermercados locais, além de restaurantes, cafés, bares e lojas ecléticas de todo tipo.

O apartamento fica em um edifício do século XVIII, situado em uma encosta íngreme de uma das colinas de Lisboa, a 100 metros acima do nível do mar. Portanto, enquanto a entrada principal e privada fica no térreo, você pode apreciar a vista deslumbrante do rio a partir das varandas do segundo andar do outro lado do apartamento, sem precisar subir nenhuma escada.

Paulo kindly met us from the airport and drove us to the property showing us some sights and recommendations on the way.The apartment was clean, well equipped and had a great view. Fantastic location in the old town nestled in tiny streets with lots of cafe/pastelaria/restuarants/bars around and close to lots of attractions. Thankyou we had a lovely stay.

We loved this VRBO! Our host Paulo was so patient, kind and friendly and gave us wonderful information regarding things to do and places to eat in Lisbon, Alfama District. The VRBO was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Our morning jogs along the River were lovely and the location allowed us to walk to many of the sites or take a bus which was easy to navigate, Highly recommend!

Susan and Joanne are indeed such a very nice and charming ladies. Extremely polite and funny, communication was always very easy before and during their stay. Wonderful stay

I cannot say enough about how wonderful an experience it was staying here. The apartment is wonderful, the location great, and we were made to feel so welcome and cared for on our first visit to Portugal. This is really a lovely place.

Lovely, quiet, and spacious apartment in a wonderfully walkable location with easy access to transit. A little off the tourist trail, which we appreciated, while still being close to amenities and activities. The apartment came fully furnished with everything you need to settle in (we stayed for two weeks; cooked, cleaned, did laundry). Artistic and quirky, yet still comfortable with small children-- feels lived in. Our stay was in January, but the apartment was light and airy, and kept warm with radiators, as well as lots of blankets on the beds and couches, and other cozy touches. The host (Paulo) was incredibly warm and welcoming. He was easy to communicate with even in English and very responsive/responsible. He provided great guidance and recommendations too!

Wonderful stay in Alfama

We had a great stay at this apartment in Alfama. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, we would have drinks most nights looking out the window and enjoying the breeze. The location was perfect and Ana answered any questions we had very promptly. Nadina, the driver she arranged for us, was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation

Thoughtful hosts and lovely place

This was a fantastic place! We really loved it, it was comfortable and a brilliant location. The toys they put together for our kids were so thoughtful and the communication throughout was helpful and informative. Only thing that would improve the apartment is air conditioning but there were lots of fans which meant it was cool enough!

Great place, great location

We had a lovely stay, the appartement is spacious and comes equiped with everything you might need. Also for our baby all the neccities were there, amd then some. We would certaintly go back.

Lovely apartment in super location

Beautifully restored and maintained apartment in Alfama. Communication and assistance from Bruno and his family all excellent. Great area with numerous good restaurants and small shops. Highly recommended.

Magical stay in Lisbon

Best place to experience Old Town

This was our first visit to Lisbon but the Alfama seemed the most interesting from our research. This apartment was ideally suited for walking “tours”. The bakery is just down the street, the restaurants near the Musee da Faro we’re excellent, and the view of the river was extraordinary. The owner and her team were very helpful and spoke excellent English, overcoming our terrible Portuguese!

Best place to stay with small children

Without a doubt, best place to stay with small children, ages 2 and 4. Fully equiped, felt like home with cooking essentials, high chair, potty, crib, extra beds, toys and childrens books galore. Small private second bedroom for children. Beautiful view of the river. Tons of light and open space. In the center of Alfama, close to great city views, restaurants, trams, fado. We loved our stay and will return!

Great apartment, location & service

The apartment is wonderful with little touches that matter when traveling with littles (toys, laundry detergent, excessive towels). The location is incredible with Fado outside your window. The garbage cans, which are directly outside the window, are emptied in the middle of the night (every night), which as many reviews suggest can be noisy.

This apartment belongs to our friend Cristina, an illustrator and a Lisbon native, who lives in Mouraria, very close to the neighbourhood of Alfama.
We are responsible for the short-term rent management of the Cristina apartment.
We are a family that likes to travel, find out about different cultures and share experiences. We are used to make good friends along the way while we travel.
For these reasons we have put all efforts on getting our apartments very comfortable and well decorated for you and also on setting partnerships with different services that you might need.
