Villa Dimitrios is a new villa which offers 3 bedrooms, a large livingroom with dinning area, a fully-equipped kitchen, verandas, patios, a sunlit pool side, heated pool, BBQ and a large parking for three cars.

Villa Dimitrios is situated on the hilltop of Marathokefala, a beautiful small village surrounded by fields of olive groves and vineyards. Its unique position offers panoramic views over the green hills and fantastic view over Kolimbari.Two minutes by car from Kolimbari the center of the area, four minutes from the coast and twenty minutes from Chania. A rare combination of seclusion and at the same time being close to all kinds of amenities.
In Kolymvari you can find all necessary conveniences, including supermarkets, bakeries, a post-office, bank and ATM machines, petrol stations and a doctor's office.

Nice but needs maintenance

The property itself is nice with a great view and lots of space. There are many smaller and larger issues though that need to be worked on. The most inconvenient thing was that there was almost no water pressure in the main bathroom. In the bath tub of the smaller bathroom, there was only very hot water (no warm, no cold). Also, no WiFi signal on the upper floor. Someone should go through the house and look for not working light bulbs and plugs hanging loosely in the wall. This property has the potential to be as nice as it looks in the pictures.

Fantastic villa for family stay

The property surpassed our expectation. We stayed as a family of 4 but could sleep 7 comfortably. It is spacious, spotless and very well kept. The pool was gorgeous and the views were really wonderful. The beds were comfy, 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms including a jetted tub for the colder spring evenings. Its well located just 5 min from super markets and 30 min from Chania or Fallsarna beach. Stella was really helpful and responsive. Overall would highly recommended this for a heavenly holiday !

Zu kurz, aber wirklich sehr schön. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, schön ausgestattet und eingerichtet. Die Zufahrt ist etwas für geübte Autofahrer und es wäre schön gewesen, wenn es Anleitungen für Herd und Spülmaschine gegeben hätte, aber insgesamt war es einfach nur schön.

Perfect place for a family holiday

We had a great stay in this villa. Plenty of room for the five of us. Very well appointed house with great living spaces and balconies for meals or just relaxing with great views. Great location, very quiet and secluded, but close enough to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again any time.

Wonderful villa for the perfect relaxing holiday

Thank you Stella for our wonderful holiday. We were greeted at the villa by Stella, and shown around this extremely clean and very well appointed villa. The views are amazing, and the location perfect for a relaxing getaway with the opportunity to sample Cretan hospitality within a short drive. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had, and I would highly recommend. Having a car is essential. Nearest shops/restaurant are 2.5km away. We would highly recommend day trips to Chania old town (30 mins drive) and Rethymno (1hr drive). If you’re looking for a modern, clean, well maintained and quiet location, then look no further. Highly recommended. Dave & Kate.

Lovely property with uninterrupted views

Fabulous stay in this lovely property. Great pool which benefits from sun in the morning and a little shade come the afternoon when you need to cool down. Property is well equipped and the A/c works well and when combined with the shutters leads to fantastic sleeps. Uninterrupted views looking east towards Chania and across the coast. You definitely need a car for this property but when you have one you can visit plenty of tavernas, have access to a good supermarket in Kolymvari and can visit Chania and the mountains just south of Chania which are beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice property

We had a lovely week in this property. Stella was very helpful with both check in and out to accommodate our flights, she also gave us some lovely places to visit and eat at. Couple of restaurants in Stila were very nice. If you fancy a day out and have a car go to Bolas beach but go in the morning, it is 7km of rocky roads but worth it. You do need a car with this villa. Chania old town is worth a visit.Thanks for a lovely stay.

Wonderful property

Very high standard of accomodation. Amazing views towards Chania and over the olive groves. The nearest town is only a few minutes away by car and has a great beach with brilliant swimming with some great restaurants etc. Stella was always on hand if we needed help with something. Very relaxing 2wks after 3nights in Athens

Amazing property

We loved the villa it was a beautiful standard with plenty of clean towels and lovely facilities. Stella was helpful and on hand for any query. We received a selection of fruit on arrival. We would love to return. Our Wifi problem was sorted. We had a house clean and were offered a second. Perfect location, Kolymbari a few mins away has a great selection of lovely restaurants a bakers and supermarket and a couple of gift shops. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. A great holiday.

Dieses Ferienhaus ist einfach perfekt

Wir haben hier an Pfingsten 2022 mit unserer fünfköpfigen Familie zehn wundervolle Tage verbracht. Und die Fotos versprechen keineswegs zu viel: mindestens genauso schön sieht das Haus auch in echt aus! Die Lage ist optimal, zwei Minuten von der Schnellstraße und daher ideal für Ausflüge und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen, mitten in einem Olivenhain, mit freiem Blick auf das Meer. Nach Chania sind es ca. 15 Minuten. Aber auch direkt im nächsten Städtchen Kolimbari kann man Einkaufen, Baden und Abends gemütlich Essen gehen. Der Kontakt mit Stella lief unkompliziert, freundlich und sehr zuverlässig. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen, inklusive frisch befülltem Obstkorb. Das Haus ist fast neu und top gepflegt. Es ist sehr luxuriös und optimal ausgestattet. In jedem der drei Schlafzimmer gibt es einen Fernseher mit Satellitenempfang, Klimaanlage, frische Handtücher, Insektengittern vor den Fenstern usw. Nach fünf Tagen kam sogar eine Reinigungskraft, hat das ganze Haus geputzt und die Betten neu überzogen. Auch der Pool ist einfach nur herrlich. Es gibt genügend Sonnenliegen und der schöne Olivenbaum im Garten sorgt für ausreichend Schatten. Wir verbringen regelmäßig unsere Urlaube in Ferienhäusern. Das hier war aber mit Abstand das Beste das wir bisher gebucht haben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Panoramic view in quite surrounding close to Kolymvari

Overall, good experience and convenient location nearby the highway, but on a hill thus not noisy and with panoramic view, and 5min away from Kolymvari with its plenty of restaurants and the beach. However, despite its plenty of space, the equipment in the kitchen (dishes, glasses, etc.) could be more extensive. Bathrooms do not have shower cabins.

Notre séjour dans cette maison était merveilleux ! La villa dispose de tout se dont vous avez besoin pour passer des vacances idylliques. Maison très confortable et impeccablement entretenue, notre hôte Stella nous a également reçu avec une grande gentillesse et elle est aux petits soins pour vos moindres demandes... Une villa et un hôte au top. Très bien située pour bien rayonner dans le région ouest de l'ile... je recommande !

Wonderful villa in a great location

The house is absolutely lovely with all amenities, great pool and parking area and beautiful view. The house is extremely well laid out and luxurious and impeccably clean. Stella is also a pleasure to deal with and so welcoming. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

Geweldige locatie met zicht op bergen en zee, temidden van de olijfbomen. Kustdorp is op enkele minuutjes met tal van restaurants. Tevens prima uitvalsbasis om de buurt te verkennen. De villa is ruim, zeer verzorgd met verwarmd zwembad. Alles is in de villa aanwezig voor een top vakantie.

Beautiful new villa to relax and explore the west!

Beautiful new villa with lots of space and everything you need! The view is spectacular - you can see the ocean as well as the white mountains! The area around is peaceful but with your car you can reach all necessary facilities and the cities around. It is the perfect spot to explore the west of Crete! Within less than an hour you can even reach the wonderful beaches at the very South-West End of the Island. To Chania it takes less than 30 minutes and the small towns of Kissamos and Kolimpari with lots of good restaurants are just a few minutes away. The house is perfectly equipped and has everything you need - including a beautiful pool which can be even heated. We didn't use it during our stay - but only because the weather was surprisingly cold during our stay in April. Everything was perfectly prepared for us! Stella is extremely helpful whenever you have a question or a problem - and the reply is very fast! Thank you very much! We definitely recommend this wonderful place!

Grande villa, vue imprenable sur la mer au milieu des oliviers

La villa est moderne, spacieuse et confortable. La vue sur la mer est magnifique, et l'on est au mil6des oliviers. La piscine est chauffée, ce qui est un bel avantage surtout hors saison. Stella nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse, d'excellentes oranges crêtoises, et est passée régulièrement pendant notre séjour pour contrôler la piscine et faire le ménage. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances de Toussaint avec un grand beau temps et une mer splendide.
