Great end unit with partial ocean view, we loved being on the end. Great breeze from the patio to the bedroom. The unit itself is really large, 2 very nice bathrooms, kitchen was adequate. Gas BBQ's right outside. We were there in early October and it was pretty warm. There is no A/C, and we didn't need it, although if you stayed in a warmer month, I could see it being too hot without it. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The mattress has seen a few better days, we did let the property management know and I feel confident they will replace it. We most definitely would stay there again (as long as the mattress was replace) and look forward to returning again.

Beautiful property, fully equipped!

Beautiful property with a fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler for use, fabulous pool and ocean views from 2 spacious decks. Shopping, restaurants, gorgeous beaches are within a short drive.

Beautiful resort

While we were initially disappointed that the condo didn’t have AC, we quickly learned that it is perfectly positioned to catch every breeze. The condo is beautiful, with views of the amazing pool from the bedroom lanai, and of the ocean from the living room lanai. The resort was welcoming and has all kinds of activities. We were not aware of the parking fee due to resort, but it was so, so worth it.

Nice but dated; a lttle rough and worn, but overall a clean, affordable homebase on the North Shore.

Priced accuratley for what it was. Property was well stocked with kitchen tools, books, and beach things (towels, beach chair, fins, and umbrella). Wifi and cable TV were nice for our evenings. Nice patio to have coffee on in the mornings. Unit is close to Pool so a little loud in the evenings with the slider open but not bad. No vent fan in the bathrooms and no a/c where the things that were less than ideal. Communications where timely and accurate.

The Cliffs Suite 5201

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon! The apartment was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed (big comfy bed, lots of storage, snorkel gear, beach towels, chairs and umbrella, tennis rackets). Both ends of the suite had a lanai, each with a stunning view, either of the ocean and grounds or a gorgeous peekaboo view of the beautiful pool area and surrounding jungle. The amenities area was very beautiful with many different areas to explore (warm pool, colder pool, hot tubs, lots of seating, gym, common area). We will return!

Lovely Place

Terrific, comfortable, beautiful, peaceful location. Well-equipped (though kitchen was not equipped with things like salt & pepper, cooking oil). It was really comfortable and hassle-free. The only thing I would say is I recall somewhere in the posting literature it listed a 6-minute walk to the beach. Really more accurate to say a 6-minute walk to the shoreline as beach access is not to be found near this property and required a drive or bicycle (available for free at the property).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at the beautifully kept Cliffs of Princeville, we noticed how quiet and peaceful it was. It’s a large property, spread out along the cliffs, with well tended landscaping. We loved sitting in the chairs along the cliffs to watch whales and sea turtles. Our condo was clean, well-furnished, and not lacking in amenities. We would stay at the Cliffs of Princeville again.

It is very large, is stocked very well for all your needs (towels, kitchen items, beach items, outlets, fans, laundry soap, etc.), and has ocean views. It catches a very nice cross-breeze, and we were never hot. We stayed here two weeks and worked while we were there, it has an easy setup to work with a desk, strong internet, two patio tables and a dining room table all from which you can operate. It is a short walk to the overlook where we saw humpback whales almost daily! This property is very clean and excellently maintained. We would stay at this complex again without hesitation.

Older buildings but great find for families and seniors

In mention families but many adults were there, especially seniors from the US and Canada. From December through March, you can see the humpback whales from many of the units or sit on a chair and view them on the north end of the property. There's tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, Monday mai tai party, yoga class (fee). The pool is several parts. There's a beautiful family section with pool, hot tub (lower temp for kids) and a waterspout for little ones to enjoy. Then there's the adult pool and adult hot tub. Since non the winter it's rainy and can be chilly, it's popular.There is a fee for daily parking. On the other hand, the walls are paper thin so you will hears in each building. The appliances are dated but work. The floor plan in our unit was very conducive for the sofa sleeper person who didn't have to close up the bed every morning. We easily walked around that area. Groceries are nearby as well as restaurants and a good fish market just 10 min. away in Hanalei. Many farmers markets, almost on a daily basis ( leasing office has a calendar). Expect this area to be very quiet and relaxing. Hiking for all levels abounds.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall my wife and I loved staying here. It was tranquil and the general aesthetic of the home is exactly as expected and very welcoming. The location is great and the staff and community at The Cliffs are winderful. There are a couple of issues with the condo though.1) The right side of the bed’s box spring is completely cracked causing that entire side of the bed to sag and made for very poor sleep every night we were there. We didn’t notice the first night but by the second night it was apparent. We contacted Oceanfront and to their credit they sent someone out immediately to check it, but after inspecting we were basically given the answer of “Well, we can let them know it’s broken, but that’s it” which was disappointing.2) The couch cushions are stained, and the blinds are all pretty old and extremely dusty.If Oceanfront resolves those issues, then the condo is perfect! My wife and I loved sitting on the lanai and cooking in the kitchen. The property description is accurate and the location and amenities were stellar. It really looks just like the pictures in the listing, lighting and all. We’d like to stay here again, and I’d recommend it to anyone else too, but I’ll definitely be asking Oceanfront if they fixed the bed first.

Garden Isle Paradise

Spacious 1 bedroom 2 bath was perfect for my wife and our adult daughter. We celebrated her becoming a Doctor. Fabulous sunrise and sunset views. Beautiful, manicured grounds. Close to Princeville Center and Hanalei, yet quiet and secluded. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place had a fantastic floor plan and it was clean, they have put some engineered wood floor in the living room and kitchen but the countertops in kitchen and both baths we probably put in when the unit was built. The tile in the second bathroom had come up before and instead of replacing that small area with something attractive and current they patched in the effected area with a tile that sort of matched, then glued a bath mat over the repaired area, almost worked but a couple of the tiles ⎌peek out from under the rug. The most egregious thing was the cookware ,the pots and pans are the cheapest, thinest low budget you could find, plus they were the cheap Teflon type and we’re worn out like the Teflon was even flaking off. I have owned a couple of homes in Princeville that I rented out when I was not there. I instructed the cleaning people not to take any of the spices left by me or my rental guest, this place did not even have salt and pepper. Without a huge expense from the owner I could rate this property a five star.

Beautiful ocean view from patio

We loved the location, easy to find, and this unit had 2 nice patios, one with a peek through ocean view. The unit needs new living room and patio furniture. Very uncomfortable and on the patio is an old bar style table with stools, too small to sit 4 to eat and quite uncomfortable. The whole 'lock box' instructions was confusing as there was no lock box. This unit had code entry which was handy, although door is heavy. Bed was comfy lots of fans kept it cool enough. We appreciated all the local guide books. Kitchen is well stocked, unfortunately I guess u can't keep staples like oil, spices and condiments due to covid??...makes it hard to cook for a week. We threw out so much. Overall loved our stay!
