Cozy cottage with rustic charm, beach across the road

We are glad you enjoyed our beautiful location, the daily deer sightings, and the great value for your family of six. We also appreciate your kind words about our quick communication.However, we are deeply sorry that the property’s condition fell short of expectations. Cleanliness and maintenance are top priorities for us, and we take your comments very seriously. Yes, this cabin is old and fits the rustic description. We do appreciate hearing of any maintenance issues such as a clogged drain or with the a/c so we can address while you are here. Both were spotted by our cleaner and have been resolved. Unfortunately, as the property is on acreage, if a door or screen is left open a small critter may explore. We have investigated and whatever you may have seen, didn’t stay. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome your family back in the future!

Thank you for taking the time to review our rustic cottage. I’m glad you enjoyed the cottage with its peaceful deck. I hope you were able to watch the deer with her new fawn. Our guests have been enjoying the many photo opportunities. With 6 people in the cottage it may seem small but it’s actually approximately 1000 sq ft. Perhaps you didn’t have chance to read our Information Package I sent you prior to your arrival. Coffee filter were provided in the basket above the coffee maker. Everything wad listed in it…coffee filters, s and p, paper towel, tp, tin foil, Saran Wrap, dish soap, hand soap etc. a starter package for you to begin your holiday with. It would not be safe for us to supply the food items you mentioned as we can’t control how others will use them. You are confused about the screens as all our windows and doors have screens. If you leave doors open, you are opening the home up to mice. We supply all bathroom linens, kitchen linens and bed linens. As per the information Package, we ask that you bring your own beach towels, beach blankets and beach chairs. I’m sorry you did not find the futon comfortable with its double mattress. I guess that is a personal choice. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. Stay safe. ❤️
