Horizon South Resort- Closest to the Beach!

This NON-SMOKING, one bedroom unit is in a family oriented resort. Sleeps six including bunks in hallway. King-size bed in bedroom and queen-size sleeper sofa. Two very large closets in the bedroom. Whirlpool tub in the bathroom. Spacious living areas including dinette. Large kitchen that is fully- equipped for all your cooking needs. Pets are NOT allowed. There is a security camera located outside of the condo.
The unit is beautifully decorated in a beach decor. Step out to the balcony with table, chairs and grill that has a relaxing atmosphere. Directly behind this unit is one of the four pools in the resort. This unit is one of the closest buildings in Horizon South to the Gulf of Mexico. Walk less than a block to the beautiful white sand beaches and enjoy the sun and fun.
NOTE: The resort charges a $20 per person amenities fee(armbands) that is charged to the guest separately *(subject to change). You are also responsible for acquiring a parking pass, beginning January 2023 there will be a $25.00 charge for your vehicle. You are allowed to have up to 2 vehicles per condo.

This place was awesome. It was just me and my wife but it was perfect and it would be extra perfect for family with 2 kids… cool bunks for kiddos… easy access to beach, restaurants… If and when i go back to Panama City Beach i won’t even look for another place.

Cute, clean and close to the beach!

Very nice and clean condo in the building closest to the beach, so it wasn’t a long walk. Will definitely stay here again.

I am sorry to read that you felt the condo wasn't cleaned to your standards. This information is good to know upon your arrival so that I can address it with my cleaning company at that time. Finding out 4 weeks after your departure isn't all that helpful.

Awesome stay

The apartment was very nice, my favorite spot was the balcony and breeze. Mr Kerry the owner was completely awesome. Very responsive and very kind. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed a extra night❤️ Would definitely stay again

nice family size condo

We enjoyed our stay here. Condo was clean, sea decorated and perfect for what we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans etc. The kids loved the bunk beds, and the beds are very comfortable. wish we could have stayed longer! It was also nice having access to several pools, and the beach was a short walk across the street.

Quiet setting and close to beach

We checked in on Sunday and very nice and quiet! Many pools to go to. Security was allNice and helpful. They are very strict about wristbands. The room was nice and was exactly how it was listed on VRBO SITE. It is a second floor unit so that was a little work with all the things especially with no elevator. We would stay again.

Great location

Great location. Furniture could use a good cleaning. More Utensils and supplies in kitchen for people that fly and can't bring alot of things. Bathroom towels smelled sour had to re wash a few times to get smell out.

So sorry that you felt that the condo wasn't up to par for your standards. Not sure what supplies you are referring to in the kitchen, but the condo is fully stocked and ready to go.

Was a nice enough place great location

Wish the bedroom TV was in working order;!! Bath tub could been cleaned better the jets had mold. The beach Cart needs repair almost had to carry it back

As I had told you when you asked about the television in the bedroom, comcast has a wiring issue with it that has to be re-wired. I have contacted the cleaners about the issue with the tub. The beach cart is not something that we provided, it was apparently left by a guest.

Amazing stay for families

This is a must stay! The condo was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a week-long stay other than the obvious necessities we brought. The kids enjoyed the cute bunk beds especially! There were even beach chairs, boogie boards and pool noodles. The location was better than expected in proximity to the beach! A quick 3-5 minute walk put us right on the sand. The community was great as well- quiet and family friendly. The pool outside the condo was clean and we always met someone new to chat with. There was a new security staff (3 weeks in) who were very helpful and engaged with us to let us know they were around if needed. Communication with the owner, Kerry, was wonderful and he was very quick to respond with any questions. We definitely plan to stay here again when visiting PCB!

The condo was not clean. Dirty sheets and dirty towels from previous renters in the floor. Nothing cleaned!

Thank you for letting us know that the cleaning company missed the clean on the day of your departure instead of the day of your arrival. I did compensate you for the cleaning as promised.

Ceiling fans dusty, underneath coffee table trash buildup, sofa cushion cases dirty, dryer took 3 cycles to dry clothes, bath tub very slow drainage when showered, carpet had a dingy smell, horrible bed pillows and padding, had to pay for 2 parking passes when the contract said they were free we showed the contract to manager on site but he wouldn't honor it - other guest said they had the same issue with the parking pass but their rentee reimbursed them.

I am sorry to hear of your disappointment with the condition of the condo. I find it interesting that you had been in touch with me, both by phone and text throughout your stay but didn't once mention any of these issues. What puzzles me most is that the coffee table is glass topped so I am sure that the cleaning company would have seen "trash buildup" under the table. Again, all of the other complaints were not voiced during your stay. As for the parking permits, it is stated clearly in the listing. My best suggestion is that you read the description fully before booking any accommodations in the future.

Clean condo and Good Location!

This is the first time we've stayed off of the beach. We were down to play ball first, beach second. That being said the location of this condo is very convenient to the beach as well as front beach and 98 through the rear of the resort. Traffic for us was never a problem. The condo itself was nice and met our needs. It had plenty of amenities, towels, beach toys for kids (though we didn't use them), and an electric grill on the balcony which worked fine. A ceiling fan on the balcony would be a nice addition. The pool near our condo was smaller but less crowded and where we found ourselves hanging out the most. The large bedroom had plenty of floor space for everyone to keep their luggage separate. It could benefit from additional seating in the living room but space is limited for any more furniture. Overall a nice experience and would stay here again! The only "Cons" I can give are to the resort staff, as it's hard to find someone that is working in the resort office or tiki hut to get parking passes and arm bands (limited work hrs). Gates to the resort were never closed.

Great Beach getaway

My daughter and I had to come down to PCB for a softball tournament and we rented this condo for the week. It had everything we needed and it was within steps to the beach. I loved that it was one of the closest condos to the beach. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. I plan to rent this condo again for future trips to PCB.

Great Vacation from Home

Host provided very detailed instructions about the unit and property. Unit was very clean and comfortable. My wife enjoyed staying our 3 day vacation at this property and plan on adding this to our list of properties to stay at in the future.
