Come to experience a luxurious stay on a beautiful lakefront home with own beach and dock. The lake
is fresh, clear, and clean with lots of fish for fishing activity on your own private dock. Swimming is also one of the favorite activities while staying at the house. A 3-person paddle boat is provided free-of-charge for your enjoyment. The house is within walking distant to a beautiful, green, and well maintained park with swimming area and large playground for the children.
You will find two bedrooms, a private bath with a spacious kitchen, complete with dining room and living room, both with the lake view. A
private laundry room with large size washer and dryer. Living room is
furnished with 2 configurable couches. Walk out your living room to a large deck to enjoy the fresh breeze and the view of the lake. Outdoor gas grill is provided for bbq and gather cooking. There is a fire pit on private beach
for a bonfire evening with friends, family, or business associates.
For leisure travelers, we are in the heart of the city with endless activities/attractions in or
nearby cities; i.e. golf, skiing, ice skating, water activities, mountain activities, city
activities, theme parks, etc... Or you could just sit in the deck or on the dock, reading books, and
enjoy the green beautiful view and the fresh breeze that the lake provides.
For business travelers, we are also very close to big corporations such as Weyerhaeuser, Boeing,
Alaska Air, etc.. Come and stay as a warm and cozy home away from home while attending businesses.
We are just fifteen minutes south from Sea-Tac airport, and 20 minutes from downtown Seattle or
downtown Tacoma. Close to numerous attractions, or secluded enough to just relax and enjoy the view
and activities on the awesome lake for a few days - especially the magnificent sunset. More
pictures will be sent upon request.
There are 2 exterior - outside the house - camera at the entrance door to the house. One point toward the parking area - inside the gate, and one point at platform in front of the door. There is no camera inside the house nor point toward inside the house. Shared dock, paddle boats, and kayak with next houseā€™s Guests. The property is for general lodging. It is not for accommodating Guests medical and/or allergy conditions.

Kathy is an awesome host and her place on Steele Lake is perfect. 20 minutes from SEA and close to all kinds of shopping and resturants. The view of the lake from the deck was great with all kinds of ducks and geese we don't see at home in Florida. Would highly recommend and will stay again!

Kathy's home was a welcome retreat for us. Evenings on the deck watching the sunset on Steele Lake and being able to the paddle boat out on the lake was very enjoyable. The house was very, very convenient to all of the places we needed to be, and will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family. Fruit trees and flowers all around the property enhanced the stay.

Great little lake house. Quiet location we had fun with the paddle boat, kayaks, fire pit for sā€™more with a huge park, swimming area close by and friendly coots, ducks and geese came by to visit. The property had many fruit trees which provided sweet snacks. Owner was excellent with communication and very accommodating.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament in the area. The listing is accurate and for the price and being on a lake it is perfect. Communication was great and the house had all we needed for the week we were there. You are close to anything youā€™d need with a bit of tranquility from the lake.

5 Stars ā€“ Great Stay for Work or Play!I stayed here with two of my employees while we were in town for training, and it worked out perfectly! The setup was ideal for three adult womenā€”two bedrooms and a bathroom, plus two futons in the living room gave each of us our own space. It was super clean, cozy, and felt really private, even though the area was active with nearby parkgoers.The location is fantasticā€”just minutes from grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. Thereā€™s even a park across the lake, which makes it feel peaceful and scenic without being too far out.Even though we were there for work, I kept thinking how perfect this spot would be for a family getaway too. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Federal Way!

Awesome Stay In a Very Good Property

Our overall stay at Kathyā€™s property went well and had an amazingly time. From evening banter at the Patio while barbecuing to afternoons paddle boating at Steele lake, it was awesome. Nights were fabulously quiet. Kathy was ann awesome host and felt with our every need. Everything in the house was well kept. Will surely book again in the future when we get a chance to be back!

Home on lake

Multiple rules with signs all over the house on what not to do. House was very cold when we arrived, took several hours to get it to a comfortable temp without wearing a jacket. However the owner allowed us in early as our flight in early so maybe she was going to turn on the temp. The furniture was covered with sofa covers that did not fit well and slid all over. The first few dishes we used were very greasy and made us feel gross, we ended up washing ever dish we used before using it. The outside will be beautiful when the weather is nice.

Family vacation

Our overall stay was great. The property was clean (except for the windows) and had everything we needed and is in a great location. The pictures are a bit deceiving, the outside of the property looks nothing like the pictures and could use quite a bit of updating. Kathy was very kind and responsive to all messages.

A lovely respite in the midst of where you want to beā€¦

Spain, California and Arizona is where we 3 arrived from to visit our old stomping grounds. What a delightful stay we enjoyed on Steele Lake. Love Living the Lake Life

The view was wonderful. Breakfast on the deck/time on the dock/use of paddleboat and kayak were great! The house was fully stocked w everything we needed. There is one portable AC unit which kept most of it cool, but was a bit hot in the bedrooms at night. Very helpful ghosts. cool

We were so pleased how CLEAN the place was. The fragrance was a little too strong but we appreciated the cleanliness. The porch and dock could use some maintenance or replaced eventually but everything else was perfect

Peace and Quiet during busy weekend

We picked this property because of the peaceful pictures. We had a stressful weekend ahead and were looking for a little retreat. The views didn't disappoint and the owner was a delight to work with. The property had a few issues but overall worked well for our needs.

A cozy and clean waterfront home

The home was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is beautiful and feels private while still being near shopping and entertainment. We were here for a swim meet at the Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center and the house was a nice short drive away.

We operated this property - along with property 7081394 or vrbo, property 171816 - with highest standard in all areas: cleanliness, comfort, view, relax, enjoyment and most of all with integrity. We had great reviews but due to our busy schedule, we stopped operating this property. We just now open it again for you to come and enjoy what a great life is about. New oven, new washer, new dryer, new gas grill, new furniture. Guests have the quiet of lake and park with all conveniences city provides.
