This beautiful, private, non-smoking, 2400 sq ft. home has an excellent location close to golf, skiing, hiking, snowmobiling and biking. The main floor has a full kitchen, dining for 8, a wood burning fireplace in living room, laundry, half bath and large master with ensuite. Lower level has second master suite with full bath, a third full bath and bedroom with twin beds and extra room with a double and twin beds. There are 4 high def flat screen TVs with Direct TV, and wifi internet.
The fabulous upper deck offers panoramic views of Boyne Highlands, and beautiful sunsets.
The 2 car garage has plenty of space for skis and golf clubs.
The quaint, historic nearby towns of Harbor Springs and Petoskey offer great dining and shopping . Mackinac Island ferry is just 30 minutes away.

Excellent property with stunning views of Boyne highlands. Two master bedrooms, downstairs living space provides great area for everyone to spread out. Fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook. House is also in a great location so close to Nubs, Boyne and easy access to Harbor Springs and Petoskey. Perfect for a ski getaway and access to Trout Creek amenities is a plus.

Perfect tucked away spot

The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and with an amazing view! The kitchen was fully stocked, which made meals easy, and the host was very responsive. From beginning to end the communication from the host was fabulous. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!

Perfect family long weekend

Great place for family of 9 (grandparents, kids, grandkids) in Petoskey/Harbor Springs. Perfect layout for us, including large table for us all to gather at. Grandkids loved the community pool! Owner was very responsive with communication.

Perfect winter cottage

We had an amazing stay at this cute mountain house with friends and family! The location was perfect, just minutes away from both Nubs Nob and The Highlands, making it ideal for our skiing getaway. The view from the back of the house was absolutely stunning – it was the perfect spot to relax after a day on the slopes.We really enjoyed the amenities, especially the indoor and outdoor pools that the trout creek offered. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, from cookware to dishes, making meal prep a breeze. After a long day of skiing, we cozy'd up by the fireplace – it was the perfect way to unwind each night.We stayed during a snowstorm, so there was a lot of snow, and while we did struggle a little bit to make it up and down the road to the house in my AWD Grand Jeep Cherokee L, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.All in all, it was a fantastic trip, and I would definitely book this mountain house again for future stays!

Cute cottage! Enjoyed the view from cottage. Great space and fully stocked kitchen. Easy drive to both Nubs and Boyne Highlands. Great pool and hot tub for winter swimming.

Amazing View!!!

My daughter, her fiance , her future in-laws, and my husband and I stayed here for a weekend! We had many appointments with potential wedding venues! This house was located in close proximity to all the venues. The view and comfortable living room gave us a place to talk and enjoy the Fall colors of The Highlands! We highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a quality place to stay while visiting Harbor Springs and the surrounding area.

Nice ski getaway

Great communication with owner. We made many meals in the well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the beautiful fireplace after ski days. Plenty of firewood provided. Would stay here again if plans permit.

Beautiful, well appointed home with a stunning view.

Our family of six adults stayed for a long ski weekend and we relieved to arrive at a beautiful home. (Another Trout Creek rental last year left much to be desired.) This clean, lovely home had a good-sized kitchen and full dining table, comfortable fireside seating for all of us and everything we needed. The main floor primary was spacious and the lower level rooms didn't feel basement-y. A great stay! We are grateful and have already booked for next year.

Very nice home with wonderful views!

We had a group of three couples, and found the home clean, welcoming and well stocked. There is one bedroom upstairs that is the primary and was the best room with a very comfortable bed. The additional rooms were downstairs in a walk out basement that had a great sitting area and two large nearly identical bathrooms. Two of the rooms have a lovely forest view. The third room with the double bed and one twin does not have a window. We found the beds on the lower level to be quite hard, but that is just a matter of preference. The six of us had plenty of room, it is a very spacious home. I loved that there were two sitting areas, giving people space to spread out if needed. This would be ideal for families who have kids who could enjoy their own area. The hosts were very easy to deal with and were available for us if needed. This is a great place for a group to stay with a large kitchen and an extra refrigerator in the garage. There were a lot of extra things like this that were a nice surprise. The owners clearly love their home and take pride in providing an excellent stay! You won't be disappointed.

You Can't Go Wrong

What a BEAUTIFUL home and location, it was perfect for traveling to the nearby areas and provided a very cozy place at night. I would highly recommend this home as a place to put your concerns aside and just enjoy the peace and tranquility this home and location provide. We hope to return in the future..

Lovely cottage with spectacular view!

We visited this property while we attended a family wedding in the area, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage is really comfortable and roomy, and it had everything we needed. We arrived at night and were blown away by the incredible views off the back deck when we awoke the next morning! Communication with the host was wonderful too. We would definitely stay at this property again the next time we're in the area.

Perfect for Family

We had the most beautiful stay, we were there for a week. The house is in a great location with amazing views, clean, all the amenities, well stocked kitchen, and space for everyone. Communication with the owner was wonderful and quick. We will stay again!

Perfect family getaway!

Great place for our holiday weekend with extended family! Perfect location between Petoskey and Harbor Springs! Plenty of space for our nine people. Spacious kitchen, dining, and living areas. Each family unit had their own bedroom, plus one for the kids. Wonderful views! Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful house with a view

We loved our stay in Trout Creek and have already booked for next year. Very quick/ easy drive to skiing and restaurants. House was clean and has everything you need, including a wonderful view… 10/10!

Truly a lovely home.

This home was super special, amazingly clean, the view was breathtaking, everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds, kitchen was very nicely furnished.
