If you are looking for an over crowded resort where cabins are stacked on top of each other, then this isn't it. BUT, if you are in need of privacy and seclusion, you are at the right cabin. This has been our family vacation home for the last few years, sharing only with those we love. We have opened it up to share the experience with you, so come on in to our home and be our guests.

The Painted View is not your typical kit production home, it is a 3200 square foot timber built home, it sits close to 2000 feet in elevation, with over 3000 sq ft of wrap around decks to your view of the majestic Smoky Mountains. Ample parking for larger vehicles or several cars for your family. We are also motorcycle friendly. Every bedroom has its own private access balcony door, so you’re just steps away from all seasons' beautiful views. You can relax in one of our four Adirondack swings while listening to the creek below, or if you’re in need of more relaxation then our 96 jet, seven person hot tub with a waterfall will do just the trick. For those chilly nights or to just set the mood, we have you covered with two rock enclosed, glass covered, gas fire places.

To expand your entertainment, we placed LCD TV’s in every bedroom and living room and gaming room. In the game room there is no need to use a short pool stick here. There is plenty of room to play a game of pool on a regulation sized table, or Foosball. For the little gambler in you, full size Poker table and chips. For night time entertainment, we have a wet bar equipped with a mini fridge. To cosy up, there are blankets to cover up with, as well as carpet in the bedrooms to keep your feet warm. There is a full sized washer and dryer on the main floor, extra large walk-in closets, and plush towels in every bathroom.

Just off the kitchen is the large 5 burner gas grill, with auto shut-off timer. The kitchen is stocked with all cookware you’d need as well as coffee maker, Keurig (some are there but you can bring your favorite pods!), blender, waffle maker, food processor, juicer Bullet, and toaster. Popcorn maker above stove will pop right on top of the stove. We have utensils for most every need, as well as serving dishes for nice dinners, as well as wine glasses and water goblets. A local built, 8 person seating oak and walnut table for your family, as well as stools for the kitchen counter.

The top floor has the gaming center, and the bedroom we call the Trout, or Fishing room. It has vaulted ceilings, a Select Comfort King sized bed, and a tin roof to enjoy the rainy nights. The bed is local built from reclaimed barn wood, polished to perfection.

There is also a full system All Weather center console to tell you every thing you would ever want to know about your day outside. A telescope will show you the stars or the next mountain ridge. But that’s not all. we have a Culligan Whole-house water purification and softener system, so you can drink straight out of every faucet, even the showers!

Disclosure of cameras:
We do have a security camera outside. These cameras are not monitored after the guests arrival. They will be monitored if we are expecting a service call and if we receive complaints from neighbors regarding noise, pets or excessive guests. Airbnb policy forbid guests to turn off/block cameras if they are fully disclosed. If camera is turned off, disconnected or blocked, a fee will be assessed to send someone out to fix the situation.
This is for your security, for there are bears, raccoons and other wild animals that can visit, so keeping the gate closed helps! Great to watch them behind safety!
