The Cabin has high speed fiber wifi as well as two Amazon Fire TV's. Featuring two King Suites and a first floor Queen bedroom with en suite bathroom. The Cabin is the perfect central location in the heart of Door County to begin all your Door County adventures. You will enjoy the entire home to yourself but staff is available at nearby Plum Bottom Gallery(Open 10-5pm) to ensure your Door County experience meets your expectations. Come to The Cabin and experience Door County the way is was meant to be!

We had a great stay! We were a little surprised when we arrived, because the on-line pictures of the outside of the cabin were not current, but the inside of the cabin was very nice and it worked perfectly for us!

Kitchen was open and marked to make finding what you needed easy. A few more knives and forks would have been nice, but with the dishwasher available it was really not a problem. The coffee pot was extremely slow and could just need a cleaning. Bathrooms were well stocked and very clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated that there was dry wood in garbage bags along with kindling and smaller wood to start the fire. Overall, this was a great place for our family vacation.

The property was beautiful and very clean! We appreciated all the lights and switches being labeled! We had no issues at all and really enjoyed our stay there!Only down side was that internet was quite slow, but I believe that is more of a Door County problem.

Pros:Beautiful location, beautiful property! Loads of amenities and the size was perfect for us. We loved having a kitchen and washer and dryer! The location was quiet and private. We appreciated all the art on the walls! We loved that the living space was also set up for a large number of people so we could all be together. The fire pit set up outside was nice, although we didn’t use it.Cons:The washing machine ring hadn’t been cleaned in a while and was covered in black. I wiped it out and ended up with a gob of someone else’s grime and hair. We moved a bed to locate an item that fell and found water bottles from previous tenants. Wash your dishes before using the dishwasher. We used the downstairs bedroom as a “master”; except the bathroom doors were pocket doors that didn’t close fully or lock so it offered VERY little privacy. If you closed the pocket door leading from the bathroom to the bedroom, the door to the living room would pop open. The fan in the bathroom was attached to a motion sensor except it never turned off so we listened to that all night. The water pressure in the shower can best be described as a gentle trickle. It was almost impossible to wash my hair. The gallery workers were also in the garage attached to the house so that felt a bit strange to us.

Plun bottom cabin

Nice and quiet. Dishes, cups etc available. However you can bring your own paper products. Paper towel was on kitchen counter. There was no extra tp in the downstairs. We just got by! Lol! Chad was great to work with. Answered all my questions in a reasonable tim.

Could have used a dusting

The property suited our needs wonderfully! 3 couples stayed comfortably over the weekend. Garbage can pedal was broken and there was visible dust on the walls and air vents but that didn’t affect our wonderful Door County experience. Wish it had garage access as we woke up to snow the last morning!

Sisters getaway trip

Tucked away in a wooded area south of Egg Harbor, a great jumping off point to explore the Door Peninsula. The house fit our group comfortably (including a table that seats 8) We were only there for 2 nights and would have gladly stayed longer, needed more time to walk the grounds and to enjoy coffee in the gardens outside of the beautiful Art Gallery. A gem in the woods!

Girls Getaway

We enjoyed to cottage and it was closer to Egg Harbor than we first expected. LOVE the shop that is right on location! Couch leaves a lot to be desired, as it is very uncomfortable. Fireplace is too noisy to use, wifi is not strong. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels for our stay. Wish lamps in one bedroom had been plugged in, would have required crawling under bed to do so ourselves so we left a note about this and fireplace in hopes they can resolve for next guests.

Girls Weekend!

This place was perfect for us ladies! We had friends staying in a nearby town and this location was great for gathering and catching up between dinners and activities around Door County. The listing was 100% accurate and had very easy check out procedures. A few of the guests got to chat with one of the ladies from the gallery when we arrived and said she was really sweet and welcoming. We also received a great email with lots of different things to do in the area. The beds were very comfortable, we had plenty of seating and the place was very clean. My only recommendation is maybe a full length mirror somewhere and mirrors in all bedrooms- might help 8 people (especially ladies) get ready and out the door a little quicker vs everyone waiting for a bathroom mirror. Wonderful place!

A lovely property!

This was our third time staying here at the Plum Bottom Cabin. We loved it! We will definitely be back next year! One of our group has more trouble getting around so pulling up to the back door and the 1st floor bedroom are a plus! Thanks for everything!

Beautiful & peaceful

Our quick weekend getaway spent at Plum Bottom Cabin was beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful! Very clean place in a quiet location. We will definitely be back.

A perfect getaway!

I stayed here along with my husband, our daughter (nearly 2 y/o) along with my parents and another couple. The home was absolutely perfect for us. This was our first visit to Door County, and hopefully not our last. The home was beautiful and very comfortable for 6 adults and a child. The beds were much more comfortable than any hotel we’ve stayed in and the overall comfort of the home was exceptional. We ate many meals at the house (it can be challenging to eat out with a toddler) and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prep. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and used the charcoal grill as well. My daughter loved the little kitchen table/chairs, and we even noticed there was a pack n play in the closet (although we brought our own). I would not hesitate to book this property again!

Beautiful and cozy!

The cabin was the highlight of our trip, only behind the wine tastings! Every feature of the rental was well thought out, it had adorable decor, cozy beds, and was a quiet getaway to celebrate my 30th birthday weekend. Literally couldn't have asked for a better place! Chad was also super accommodating and even helped my boyfriend pull off surprise visitors (my parents) for my birthday. He took care of the extra charges in a separate transaction without me ever knowing! Thanks a bunch for sharing the cabin with us!
