The Flat at 49 Palmetto is located within the designated Historic District in beautiful Apalachicola, FL. It is situated just 2 blocks from the Apalachicola River and the town center and is within easy walking distance to all this quaint, hip town has to offer.

The Flat at 49 Palmetto offers a very stylish apartment for up to 4 guests within a tastefully renovated historic property in a quiet residential neighborhood. The Flat has a private second floor entry.

The Flat offers 2 comfortable bedrooms--1 queen and 2 twins with new Posturepedic mattresses and vintage quilts. The bath features a walk-in shower and full laundry services. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a relaxing living and dining area.

This 'home away from home' is also equipped with a Smart TV, dvd player, and high speed internet. Don't forget your passwords to access your accounts for your favorite programing! Details abound in the Flat from art work to great reading material. We want you to feel at home!

Wonderful stay

Really nice flat with everything you need. We loved the close proximity to the restaurants and shops in Apalach! You can walk anywhere you want to go. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Apalachicola apartment

Ideal place to stay within walking distance of the old town of apalachicola. Take your bicycle and explore the shrimp boats, downtown bars and music, very nice food trucks and tourist shops

Great stay in Apalachicola!

Exactly as described! Perfect location, comfortable furnishings. Could use 2 chairs on deck by door to sit and drink coffee and look over the beautiful wooded lot off that deck!

We loved staying at this cozy property! Everything was just as described in the listing. It was great to be able to walk to places so easily. Wonderful place for a weekend getaway with friends!

Apalachicola stay.

Nice apartment, very clean. Comfy bed. Easy walk to downtown. Enjoyed exploring the Forgotten Coast. Especially enjoyed the St George state park and Cape San Blas state park, wild pristine Florida beaches.

Cute flat in a great location

Super clean & cute loft

This was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Super cute & perfect size for 4 adults or 2 adults & 2 kids. Great location to downtown so we could walk around. Anna-Marie was extremely nice & great to work with. I will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the Forgotten Coast

This was a great place to stay as we took in Apalachicola and the area. Everything is easily within walking distance from the shops and restaurants to the Orman House. The other great thing is you are within easy driving distance of St. George Island, Port St. Joe, and some amazing beaches. The residence was very well put together, exceptionally clean, and had everything you needed for your stay. We will be sure to be back!!

Great hidden location

My wife and I love Apalachicola and try and spend a couple of weekends a year there. We planned our most recent trip last minute and got lucky to find this apartment available. It was a great place to stay, right on the edge of the historic downtown with lots of bars, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance. The apartment was bigger than expected with a 2 bedrooms and a small kitchen. We loved our stay and will be back!

Quiet Area With Everything You Need

My family and I enjoyed the comfort of this rental. It had everything we needed. It was clean and was walking distance from Downtown Apalachicola and a short distance from St. George Island. There are several steps leading up to the rental, but that did not bother us. We enjoyed all the artwork on the walls.

49 Palmetto is lovely! It’s a great apartment that feels so spacious, bright, and cheerful inside. Great location is within walking distance to downtown. Everything we needed and simple, laid-back checkin/checkout with outstanding communication from our host, Anna-Maria. Super spotless and sparkling inside, too. Highly recommend.

Long weekend in Apalachicola

We had a nice stay in the upstairs apartment. It was very clean. The living area was very comfortable and the bedroom was a good size. It was very conveniently located, within walking distance to town. A couple of things that could improve the rental - the shower is very small and could be more functional. And it would be better to have a dishwasher in the kitchen, instead of having to handwash dishes. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay for our first trip to the 'forgotten coast'.

A Lovely Loft!

This property is unique and charming. The interior was very clean and came equipped with everything we could have needed and more. The mattresses were comfortable and the host was friendly. We had a lovely stay! The only down side: This place could be challenging for someone particularly tall. The attic of this building has been BEAUTIFULLY converted into a loft style apartment (seriously, lovely work). However, there are a few low areas that our heads found on the first night as we stumbled in late. That all being said, I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who isn't habitually clumsy.

Perfect for a Couple's Getaway

Everything about our visit was wonderful except the weather and even that didn't mess up our vacation because the flat is very well appointed. We were there for the duration of subtropical storm Alberto, and even though there was a lot of wind and rain, there were breaks in the system that allowed us to get out and enjoy the walkability of the prime location of the accommodations. Everything we needed for our 4-day stay in the cute and comfortable apartment was provided. My only regret is that we didn't get to meet Anna-Maria in person, because she was so helpful and pleasant to deal with from the beginning of our reservation process to our reluctant departure for home. I have been coming to the area for 23 years, and this turned out to be one of my favorite places to stay. Will definitely be coming back and staying in one of Anna-Maria's properties again.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at this location while exploring St George Island. Luckily this allowed us to sample a few of the great seafood restaurants nearby. It is centrally located with plenty of parking within a quiet community.The property was clean and comfortable, if we were to return to the area we would try and stay here again. 0ur host Anna Maria Cannatella was very quick and responsive to our requests for information on places to go and restaurant selections!Kerry & Cindy Gordon
