Fun in Flagler

We have stayed in Flagler Beach several times and at this complex. This particular unit was spectacular. The best we have stayed! The cleanliness was outstanding. Thank you, Judith for sharing your property.

Great place

The unit was very clean and up to date. They provided a very well stocked kitchen and many beach items. The communication was great and the beach was right across the street. The ability to have our small dog with us made my wife feel much better than having to use a kennel. We would definitely stay here again

Excellent Accomodations!

What a wonderful place to stay! We have been to Flagler for many years on vacation and this was one of the best places so far. Very clean and had plenty of starter supplies and special treats! A quiet place to relax and enjoy the ocean view! Highly recommend.

Keep it a secret!

Love to stay here, and I’m reluctant to tell anyone about it so it doesn’t get too busy! Judy is a wonderful host. The accommodations are comfortable, well equipped (you can’t even think of something they don’t have on hand), and the view couldn’t be better. The ease to walk to area restaurants and parks were perfect. We look forward to seeing you again!

Perfect beach getaway

Property overlooks a beautiful, private access stretch of Flagler Beach. Home was well stocked in bathrooms, kitchen, and garage. Host even left a case of bottled water and snacks for us! Very clean, and owner is responsive to any needs or requests. Highly recommend this VRBO. We were completely happy with our stay.

Excellent Stay

From start to finish our vacation was excellent with the assist from Fun in Flagler. Treat and supply basket when we arrived with extra water in the fridge. The easy access to the beach and grass area for our dog was amazing. The pool was nice for relaxation and for the mid day cool off! In one word, excellent!!

Wonderful host and accommodations

The townhouse is great. Great access to the very beautiful and peaceful beach. The thoughtful host stocked the fridge with a case of bottled water, left snacks, plenty of towels, books, games, anything you could think of! There were even new tweezers and bath loofahs just in case someone forgot to pack them(which of course one of us did!) Thank you Ray and Judy for providing excellent accommodations for our family vacation!

We had a blast at Fun in Flagler Beach! The condo is spotless and has everything you need to stay for a weekend, a week, or a month! All you need for your stay is only 4 miles down the road at Publix. We tried the local restaurants and loved them all except the one by the pier. Sorry, not sorry. We loved the garage to park our car out of the sun. The washer and dryer was a very nice amenity :-) Oh yeah, 2 full baths too!! Thanks so much for having us, Judith! We'll be back!!

This condo was perfect. It was clean and had everything you need and more! The location was perfect. Just steps from the beach and the clean refreshing pool. We have never stayed anywhere that the host left so many extras for the guests. We loved this condo. The host was very nice and had great communication. Thanks for a great week!

Restful & Fun in Flagler Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Flagler Beach. We were exhausted and needed a place to rest and recover. We enjoyed walking on the beach and sidewalks with our two dogs. The temperature was perfect. The home we stayed in was very nice, and its host was absolutely wonderful. Although we really did not need any additional help from him, we found the home set up for us with amenities beyond the norm! It was obvious he took special care to welcome us and make our stay comfortable. Thank you!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This condo was amazing! Judy was so easy to work with. The condo has everything you need for your stay. Judy provided a case of water, a few snacks for my kids, and tons of extras. There are beach toys in the garage including a wagon to haul your stuff if needed. There was even a laundry basket for doing laundry. The bedrooms are spacious and the closets were huge. There was planty of space to store our stuff. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make a small lunch to a full dinner. This condo is on a quiet street to pull into the driveway or garage and the A1A is in the back. The beach is literally right across the street. Our family had a great time and we would definitely stay with Judy again.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Our family had not vacationed in 10 years and were reluctant to book online but we are so VERY glad we did. Ray was amazing from the start. He messaged us as soon as we booked our vacation and was attentive throughout. We arrived early on Saturday morning and Ray asked us to text him when we arrived to make sure we made it in and were safe. When we woke the next morning we had everything we needed, even coffee! Ray thought of everything and I mean everything down to the smallest detail. It was like we were staying at a friends house for the week. The only thing we had to do was buy groceries. The living area was perfect, clean, and functional. There were even beach towels! The beds had clean fresh linens and were very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that there was not a close beach access, this is not Ray’s responsibility. I learned from another visiting couple that the beach access had been washed away in a hurricane last year and was expected to be replaced soon. We were able to access the beach about 3 blocks from where we were staying. I would recommend this location to all my family and friends. We plan to stay again next year and hopefully all my children and my granddaughter will be able to come. We will need both units Ray!! Quality!

The word that comes to mind keeps being Quality. It was a last minute booking. We never had to wait on Ray to answer, booking was easy. He was there when we arrived to answer any questions we may have had and show us around. He had snacks and toiletries that we may have forgoten and the place was stocked with everything you could possibly need from things in the kitchen to beach gear, games, and books. everyday we were finding something else. Quality in the furnishings, not just in looks but in comfort also. That king bed and pillows were amazing I have never found pillows more comfortable I wanted to steal them lol. Even down to a throw blanket in the living room. I was going to look at the brands of things so I could try to get them but I forgot. The location was also qualilty. We couldn't have had a better view unless we were right on the sand. We had the beach nearly to ourselves every day. And when we weren't at the beach, the pool was the same. Perfect temperature, clean, and quality deck furniture. Best of all, we brought my daughter's dog and she was welcome every where we went. She's a very good dog who loves people and just wants love and attention, which she got every where we went. The only way this could be any better is if it wasn't such a long drive from Kentucky. But we will be back and as long as Ray is still hosting and allows us we will be staying with him.

Fantastic Stay with Awesome Daily Sunrise!!!

Location was spot on as it's near other local eateries and a simple walk across A1A to get tot he beach daily. Fantastic view of the morning sunrise as we could sit out on the deck to start the day right. Accommodations were EXCELLENT! Specifically, the beds. Can't begin to state how important a good nights sleep is (as we've rented other locations in FL and the beds were not up to par) and the beds were very comfortable. It's a requirement for us to have a king size bed (at least in the master and these are hard to find when searching) and the location lived up to expectation as we slept soundly to the crash of ocean waves. The guest room beds were outstanding as well! The layout of the condo was perfect and the kitchen and dining area were perfect to cook up some meals and have nice sit down meals. The condo had great A/C that we didn't have to set lower then 72 as both floors kept very cool during the day and evenings. We have a 55lb Chocolate Lab that enjoyed the stay as we were able to take her for walks and she loved the layout of the condo and enjoyed the beach too!!! The pool on property was nice and very refreshing after a day at the beach . The Owner Ray was very responsive to any questions and we had a chance to meet him as well, which was is always nice to put a name with a face. He had all of the right items that one might need. Specifically, there was a beach wagon that we could load any of our stuff in to take down to the beach. But he had a couple of mountain bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, fishing poles. We really didn't need to bring anything (but did bring a couple of our personal chairs) as he had it all there. Ray has definitely thought of the guests needs and met each of them as this was "THE BEST" property we've ever rented from and stayed at for a vacation spot. Flagler is a great little gem as it's not too busy, but has plenty of things to do or you are within a short drive to get to St Augustine, Daytona, etc. My wife, daughter and I had a great stay and look forward to a return next year!!!! Thanks again Ray for making this stay a PERFECT 10!!! Tim, Jennifer, Kelsie and our dog Rudi!!!!!

Great Ocean View from a Comfortable Condo with Lots of Kitchen Utensils and Conscientious Owner

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and recommend that you consider staying here when you visit Flagler Beach. From our first contact with the owner all the way through our departure, Ray was very attentive and conscientious toward making our visit enjoyable. His gift baskets were unexpected and gratefully received by us to supply an item we forgot to pack. We came here to vacation with our adult daughter during Thanksgiving Day week and found everything in the kitchen that was needed to prepare our Thanksgiving Day feast. The condo furnishings are very comfortable and the entire decor is tasteful and nicely coordinated to contribute to a peaceful and welcoming stay. The king size mattress in the master bedroom is adequately comfortable but is on the very firm side of support. There is a shower on the first floor just inside the garage making it very handy for washing off sand picked up from visiting the beach. We loved strolling the beach which is located about 150 yards (or so) just across Florida Route A1A. There are public access dune crossovers a short walk both north and south of the condo with the one to the north closer to the unit than the crossover to the south. My daughter is a collector of sea shells and she found many common shells on our walks as well as few less common items such as sand dollars and a sea star. If you too are a shell collector, take the time to visit the very, very affordable shell shop north of the condo located right beside the Turtle Shack Cafe (which is a good place to get burgers and easily reached simply by walking along the sidewalk along the highway). There are several other places to dine nearby. Though not our style, Finns bar at the corner of Highway 100 and A1A seemed always lively and often featured a live band on the rooftop area. If you have toddlers, be aware that the upstairs bedroom have sliding glass doors to patios that you would want to ensure your children cannot access without adult supervision. Those doors and the missing screens are the single improvement to the condo that I hope Ray is able to complete in the near future. Make a point of visiting Marineland Oceanarium which is about a 25 minute drive north of the condo. We loved the moderately priced Painting with the Dolphins activity.

There was one criticism of our property that you had, which was our lack of screens and the glass sliding doors being difficult to operate. We just wanted to let you know we did replace all sliders and now have screens. On behalf of myself and the guests that stayed after you we would all like to thank you for your input on how we could improve our unit. Best Beach Vacation in years!

We had a wonderful week at this property. It started when we arrived Ray was there to greet us. He made sure the property was as advertised, had snacks, cold bottled water in the fridge etc.. We truly felt at home and are already planning a trip back later this year.

Wonderful and relaxing vacation!

Ray and Judy created a perfect vacation accommodation. Their townhome is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. They provided everything we needed, along with lots of items (and treats) we didn't even know we needed. Beach access is directly across the street, and there are several good restaurants very nearby. We enjoyed the morning sunrise from one balcony and the evening sunset from the other balcony! We are so grateful that Ray and Judy allow dogs to join in the family vacation. Our dog, Edison, had a great time at the beach. We look forward to returning again soon!

Wonderful week on vacation

Ray went above and beyond with the things he provided for us; everything we needed and more. Great location, most days we had the beach all to ourselves. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Condo in a Great Location!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ray’s condo. This was our first Florida vacation in two years and definitely was a memorable one. The hospitality Ray gave us was too notch! Condo was clean, comfortable, close to beach and overall exceeded our expectations! We will for sure be back! Thank you Ray!

Terrific locatIon and host

We have been to Flagler a few times, and this stay was great! We were further from town than before, but there were two amazing restaurants a few blocks north that we LOVED! The beach is literally across the street, the pool is lovely, the balconies and patio give you sun, shade or grassy space, our puppy was in heaven, the amenities from Ray were beyond all expectations — all in all a terrific space. I almost hate to give this great review, as our undiscovered space will be mobbed next time we want to come!

I urge everyone to come to Flagler it is a oceanfront town that continues to resist many of the trapping of today's world. Just one building over 3 stories high and just one national chain a Seven-Eleven. Come stay here and enjoy what God created the sounds of the ocean to put you to sleep, and the light from sunrise to wake you.
