The Property was just as advertised. We were very pleased. The owner had thought of lots of details theat sometimes are forgotten in other properties we have stayed in ie: instructions forappliances, photos on the back of the kitchrn doors so we know where everything went

This is simply a lovely house. The pool was one of the best ones in a VRBO house we have stayed at. It was clean and warm. The hot tub was an added plus. We enjoyed it every day. The area is very quiet and is very relaxing. Ingrid is a welcoming host and checked in with us to be sure all was well. The pool area is quite large with plenty of room to relax. Thank you again Ingrid for the use of this great home!

A true gem. We've visited the Gulf area close to a dozen times and this is, by far, the best stay yet. Very nice sized home (bigger than expected) with immaculately clean upkeep. More than we bargained for at an excellent price.Fishing poles/lures provided landed Largemouth Bass and Alligator Gar right off the private pier attached to the property. Gorgeous lanai with salt water pool. Seriously, does it get any better. Well deserved Five Star rating !

This place deserves 20 stars! Our stay here at Ingrid’s Pelican property was a home run! Absolutely stunning view of Mojave Lake from your own private salt water pool and patio. Morning coffee on the dock was calm and serene. Nice kitchen/dining area and a large living room with huge flat screen TV. Bedrooms were cozy with one king bed and the other a queen. At night we watched beautiful sunsets while enjoying drinks and the wildlife over the lake. Ingrid was extremely communicative and answered any questions we had right away. We dined at a few very good restaurants like Two Meat Balls, KeKe’s Breakfast, RumRunners and The French Press. All highly recommended! Downtown Cape Coral has an excellent cigar bar ( if thats your thing) and many bars with live music and good food. We were extremely sad to leave but we’ll be back 100%! Thank You Ingrid!

We had the most unbelievable stay at the blue pelican. The home was exactly as pictured and described, actually even better. The master bed was super comfortable. The couch was fantastic, the pool was perfect. We had all the necessary linens and beach equipment we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and neatly labeled to help return everything to where it goes. The lanai furniture was so comfortable and everything was neat and tidy. The welcome book was so helpful and our hostess was so kind and accommodating. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful, i felt as though i should whisper as to not disturb such peace. Id stay here a million times over, shoot i would even buy it if they would sell! Perfect stay. I loved it so much. But the absolute best part was the view. Hope to stay here again!

The Blue Pelican is a great vacation home and we could feel it the moment we arrived. Everything was clean and ready for us to enjoy. The house and pool deck are spacious and laid out nicely. The neighborhood around the lake is quiet with great views of sunset. Both the pool and the hot tub were very clean and set at just right temps. At the end of the day, it was nice to have a large, comfortable bed. Ingrid was exceptional to communicate with and strives to make sure your time there is top notch. My wife and I would recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

Great little getaway!

My husband and I stayed here as a little getaway. We did a whole lot of nothing and it was heaven! The pool was perfect, the view was spectacular, and the bed was absolutely divine. Very quiet neighborhood and great communication with Ingrid! Can’t wait to go back.

The property was inviting with the spacious patio, salt water pool and the jacuzzi. The property has a Very comfortable bed! The house itself was so spacious and laid out nicely. The neighborhood was delightfully quiet and had great things to do. We loved being able to use the pool to cool off and the hot tub was also a great addition. Ingrid was so great to communicate with and she made sure to check in if we had questions. I would recommend this place for a quiet and relaxing stay! It checked off all the boxes you want for an amazing stay.

11/10 RECOMMEND!!! This property is absolutely stunning! We saw so much wildlife in the lake while enjoying the pool every day! Every morning we had breakfast in the lanai and watched the anhingas fish, the turtles popping thier little heads out, and the beautiful hawks flying in the sky. The sunsets here are so beautiful and Deep Lagoon is a restaurant that is 15 minutes away with the absolute best fresh seafood!! We totally recommend the Blue Pelican and we will most definitely be staying there again!! We miss it already!! Ingrid is a very wonderful host and she makes sure your stay is perfect! Thanks again for everything!!!

We absolutely had the best vacation at this beautiful home. The hosts Jerry and Ingrid were 10/10 amazing. The pool -the hot tub-the views..all stunning. The bed was super comfy..and the house was so clean. We will definitely return lovely area and neighborhood also. Super private and just an overall outstanding time. Would recommend this 100% to any and everyone!

Ingrid grew up in Europe and worked in Germany, England, and France before coming to the USA where she was awarded the Doctor of Education degree. Jerry is a honored veteran of the Vietnam War, a sharp-shooter, and in later years investigated for the Inspector General’s office of the Army. He retired from Lucent Technologies (now Nokia).

We take great care of guests who have booked the Blue Pelican resort style holiday home for their vacations, honeymoons, and workations. We believe that when you book our home, your stay will be enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable. We look forward to welcoming you to paradise.


Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We were familiar with the area and always desired to be at the lake in a large home. It had all the features we were looking for: Great location, sunset view, secure and quiet area. It met all of the quality requirements, roomy and spacious, had great layout, high ceilings, view of the lake from all rooms, and a garage hidden from street. Much work would be required, but well worth the effort. The transformation was completed when we added the pool and deck area to make it our private resort, now available also as a vacation home on Vrbo, also.

We have transformed the Blue Pelican into a One-of-a-Kind tropical resort like home with wide open spaces inside and out, selected beautiful decor, painted in soft island colors, added popular entertainment features, and an over-sized waterfront pool deck with a custom Pool Screen Enclosure that has huge picture windows for unobstructed magnificent views of lake and sunsets. The Blue Pelican, located near Midpoint of Cape Coral in the preferred SW area is like none-other on or near Lake Mohave. Come and see for yourself.
