The Space:

Welcome to the charming and historic Ocean Glory home, located on beautiful Amelia Island!



Wake up and watch the waves from your very own bed with the pelican`s eye view of the water that this property boasts! A 180-degree, wraparound deck overlooks seagrass dunes to the shore just 50 yards away. Barefoot walks before breakfast are easy with the dune walkover in front of the house. Ocean Glory may be relatively modern, but it is full of history. From the moment you open the porthole front door, you will begin to discover relics from an old ship inside. The boater`s pine paneling rises to a vaulted, beamed ceiling, reclaimed from a historic church decades ago. The antique sailboat model on the two-story stone fireplace reflects life on a barrier island, surrounded by seas and rivers, stones and sand.



Recently renovated in tasteful nautical décor, we have preserved the original architecture while adding modern furnishings, appliances, and new designer bedding. Now with high-speed wireless internet access, you can surf the web and watch the surf at the same time.



This property is perfectly situated on the north end of the island, where guests are only minutes away from Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach and Centre Street, where restaurants and shops are abundant, Fort Clinch State Park, and other local attractions. Sitting oceanfront, this home is literally just steps away from the sea. If you are looking for the next great family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a fun weekend with friends, this is the perfect location for you!



All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella are also provided for you to use during your stay.



We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of DocuSign.

Beach accessories availability may vary due to supply and demand, season, and property limitations. Feel free to ask for extras but be aware that they may not be available during the busy season.



All DocuSign documents must be completed and returned before your arrival date. This is to protect you as a guest and the property itself.



There is a credit processing fee of $35 that will be charged if you cancel your booking, regardless of the booking or cancellation date.
