Great home, great views from deck overlooking the mountains. Enjoyed Murphy brewery’s, restaurants. Only bad thing was leaving. Hope to return!

Views were great. Fully stocked kitchen and nice game room.Living room recliners very uncomfortable required back pillows just to sit in them. Both mattresses in primary and second bedroom bedroom need replacing.

This property is excellent in so many ways, but the feature that will stay with me is the wonderful view. It was so wonderful to look out on the valley and distant mountains. Some mornings the clouds were below and the landscape looked vastly different by nightfall. It was interesting to watch how the light changed. There were multiple deer visiting the yard daily. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, and the house was well-equipped. The house was situated so that it felt very private even though there are houses on each side of it. The road to it is narrow but paved and it is not far from Murphy with a decent grocery store. On Saturdays there is a farmers market there but not much produce. However, there is a great pie maker and a bread baker - the sourdough dill pickle was delicious. There is local honey for sale. The gift shop at the Campbell Folk Art School is wonderful- found several unique gifts for friends/family. Would rent this place again and would highly recommend it for a quiet mountain getaway.

Gorgeous Mountain Views surround a well appointed , comfy and cozy mountain cabin.With spaces spread across three levels, there was room for everyone to enjoy. The fire pit, rocking chairs and games rooms (complete with Fuzball and billiard table) were all big hits with our little kids and teenagers alike. This cabin made for a perfect family getaway and our children have already voted to come back!

We thought the place was great. Wonderful views, deer, & just being able to walk up and down the roads for exercise was awesome. The drive to town was only 15-20 minutes and to Blue ridge was 20-25 minutes. This place is centrally located for falls around the area (including Anna Ruby & Amicalola falls) which made it ideal for our stay, plus coming back to the cabin to watch the sunsets was outstanding. We look forward to coming back to this cabin.

Mountain get away

Mountain get away

We had a great time this being our 5 th stay at cabin! Didn’t plan having a hurricane come back home while we were here but luckily it worked out good! Love watching deer as always and the changing views out back ! Thank you!!

Special spot with an incredible view

Most vacation rentals feel like rentals. This place feels like you are visiting with family. The kitchen is especially well-equipped. Every morning, the cloud deck was below us making for incredible views to enjoy with our morning coffee. We will be back!

A wonderful place with an incredible view!

This place was a true gem and a great find!! The view is absolutely stunning! You get the benefit of seeing both the sunrise and sunset. The cabin was much larger than we expected with 3 levels. The owner of this home truly thought of everything you might need. We had 8 deer that was on the property every day and it was such a highlight of our stay. There are other houses around but you wouldn't know it as they were all extremely quiet. We loved our stay and highly recommend it to others.

Absolutely perfect

We stayed a few nights with a couple of teenage boys. The bottom level with the pool table and foosball table were perfect for them. That left us with the rest of the home to enjoy. The location is perfectly situation between Blue Ridge, Hiawassee, and Nantahala, but don't overlook the lovely town of Murphy. The kitchen was perhaps the best equipped VRBO kitchen I've ever used. We saw lots and lots of deer in the neighborhood. The whole experience was just what we were looking for.

B&B, bed and blueray

Our second stay and it was as memorable as our first. Our first was in 2014 and nine years later Wolfgang's Den is still our go to place. Quiet with beautiful views. Two suggestions: 1. Provide a BlueRay/DVD player for the large TV in the main floor great room. 2. Provide a king size bed, I know it would be a tight fit, in the main floor bedroom. Yes, a king size bed and DVD player are upstairs, but main floor accessibility for seasoned adults would be much appreciated. Stay there once, and it will be your go to place too.

Property had a great view, very well stocked kitchen but needs sorting thru; decor needs updated. Beds we’re comfortable. I saw no reason why guests had to go to the office to get their packet, just call at 4 pm and get the code to the door?

Clean and comfortable

This was a ver clean and super comfortable property. They are stocked with everything you’ll ever need and then some! We saw so many deer and wild turkey. My only complaint is that we stayed over Christmas and new years. It was quite cold and neither fireplace works, so the basement/game room were quite cold. They did provide us with space heaters once we inquired, but they didn’t heat it up much. We will definitely come back in summer!

Just amazing...

This property is so beautiful. The views from the deck are impossible to beat. The inside of the home is perfection. Theres nothing this place needs... it has it all. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to have a home cooked meal (only need the food ; ). Beds are comfortable, pool table in finished basement is awesome. Fire pit table on deck and fire pit on side of home are great. Also met some friendly neighbors on the block. The house is on top of the mountain however, the drive up is fully paved and not difficult. There are deer everywhere so drive slow. Home is close to downtown Murphy, approx 10 minute drive. Also close to Ocoee Adventure Rafting, approx 30 minute drive. Great communication with home owners/property management. So much positive things to say. Only negative is we couldn't stay forever.

It was beautiful

It was beautiful the Views were amazing. Lots of deer in the yard. The only thing i wasn't happy with was the list i had to do before i left. I am not a messy person i always have everything clean i didn't like the faxed that i had to sweep all the pouches before i left when i got there it looked like it haven't been done in a while the cob webs were on everything. I paid a cleaning fee but i had to do all the cleaning before checking out. I also had to sweep off the porch before we could even sit out there. When i was told they just cleaned it. I understand you can't control the Acorns from falling but the cobwebs were bad they have been there for a long time. Other then that it was beautiful there.

Even though our crew thoroughly cleans each one of our cabins, those things are difficult to control this time of year. Especially in our area as the cobwebs seemingly appear overnight and the leaves and acorns are constantly falling. Also, our cleaning fee covers items such as providing fresh linens and towels and thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the entire cabin. We do however ask that the guests not leave any dirty dishes or any food lying around for sanitary reasons. Amazing views!!! Changes all the time. Even with a fair bit of rain it was still spectacular and we had great views daily at different times. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked and supplied. The deer are incredible. They hang out the yard every morning and evening and they are not very skittish even when you’re out on the deck watching them. We loved this place and plan to come back. It’s a little slice of paradises

Million Dollar Views!

Stayed here for a week with another couple, what an awesome time we had. The cabin is very nicely decorated and the kitchen is stocked with anything and everything you would need. I can not say enough about the views, pictures do not do it justice. We would definitely stay here again. Beautiful!
