Excellent location, could be cleaner

The location of this property cannot be beat. It's an easy 300 yard walk to the base of Snow Summit. Parking is ample and makes this super easy. The management was very friendly and helpful, and check in and out was easy. The unit itself was fine but dated. You have to keep all drapes closed because there are other condos right outside on every side, so it makes it quite dark. The beds did not seem very clean. There were stains on the mattress covers in both rooms, a hair on the pillowcase, and something suspect wiped on the wall above one's head on the bunk bed. These are all easy fixes that could make this a nice property to stay at with just a little more attention.

Very Very Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We called the day before our arrival to see if we could come a day early, but we were told that it was being rented that night and that we also couldn't make early check in because of the rental before us. When we did arrive, the condo looked like it had not been cleaned, aside from the counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were made, but they were dirty. The master bed linens smelled like cigarettes and were sticky to touch. We couldn't sleep in the bed the first night and had to sleep on the couch. I ended up washing all of the bedding that day, including the mattress cover. The bathrooms were clean, but the soaps and shampoos were just scattered on the counters. Upstairs we found a cookie in the carpet, a moisture absorber on the floor, crumbs and puzzle pieces scattered and a ball of tin foil under the curtain. Our son found pills on the tv stand too! When we opened the curtains to see the snow on the deck, the curtain rod separated, and the curtains fell to the floor. In the kitchen, there were a couple tiny pots and one pan but no matching lids. It made it difficult to boil water or cook anything. We packed all of our food expecting to eat in, but it was pretty much impossible. There was 1 weird spatula that was half spatula, half tong, which made it impossible to use. There was only one hand towel in the kitchen, we had to buy towels. We brought bottles of wine, but the cabinets were just stocked with XL Plastic mismatched cups and tiny mugs. The fireplace was missing the key to start it. When I called the office, I mentioned how cold it was upstairs, and hot downstairs, the receptionist scolded me for not closing the downstairs vents, but I checked, and there was no way to close them, I was also assured that our condo had been cleaned five days before our arrival, but we were told the day before arriving that it was being rented the night before we arrived. We spent half our trip fixing problems and waiting for maintenance.

Short Spring Ski

Good location, unit was clean and as expected. Property manager on site was very helpful and friendly. Only comment would be to look at buying new / more kitchen utensils, glasses etc. Place Settings should match advertised number that can sleep in unit. Minor issue that did not detract from our stay as we only had 3 in our party. Thanks for the hospitaility.
