The house had everything we needed. We loved the expansive view of the lake from the deck and enjoyed kayaking the clear waters of Crooked lake.

This lake house has the most amazing views. The home was clean and nicely decorated. We brought our own boat, but the fishing right off the property was great. We used the kayaks every day. The weather cooperated and we enjoyed a perfect vacation.

This was a great place. The location was excellent. Great area for swimming. It felt very private. The deck and beach area were really nice. I love that kayaks and floats were included. The owners messaged us midweek to check in, and they were very responsive. The house was clean and very nice, and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Property was very clean and fairly well stocked. One down side was that there is no automatic dish washer. Overall it was an enjoyable time and we would return.

Amazing location on the lake with privacy, comfortable home with all you need for your stay. Great views and plenty of sandy or deep areas for swimming. Would definitely stay again!

The property was excellent, overall! The host communicated everything prior to and during the stay without any delays. The description of the house was exactly as advertised and there were many extras on site that were not expected such as available tubes, fishing equipment, towels, games, etc. Lake view is stunning from all areas and the property itself is very well kept and private. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again.

Great Getaway!

This is a wonderful, peaceful home on a beautiful lake. The outdoor space is incredible and private. Interior was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway.

We can't describe in words the peacefulness and serenity of this 'spot on the lake'. You need to be there. For city folks like us who hear cars, sirens, lawn mowers and the like all the time, the quiet at the lake was restorative and just what we were looking for. The views are beautiful, the sunsets are gorgeous and the house is set up perfectly to enjoy it all.

Great family vacation spot

This is a great property for a family vacation. the house was very nice and clean and sleeps 10 comfortably. There was a fully stocked full size kitchen and washer and dryer available, which was great for washing towels, ect.. we rented the pontoon boat, with no issues and did lots of kayaking and fishing. The only downside was that there was only one bathroom. Otherwise highly recommend

Yearly family vacation

Great house and great lake. The house was very clean and accommodating. Lots of water toys. The lake is very clean. Not crowded at all. Very peaceful, and the house is very private as advertised. A minutes drive to get food etc. Kalamazoo is very close for entertainment, but live music and good food right around the corner. Communication with the owner was great. Overall an awesome stay!

Fantastic Location! A lot of water toys available:Kayaks, Paddle Boat, Floats, Fishing Poles, Lily Pad, Etc . . The beach is rocky- I would bring water shoes. My boys had a blast fishing, swimming and boating.We rented their boat which is in good condition.The lake is easy to kayak and padle boat as well. Nice island with sand directly acrosa from the property.The firepit area is great as well. We enjoyed their cornhole set as well. Conveniently licated to Sourh Haven and St. Joseph for day trips too.Plenty of parking to accommodate several cars.Grocery store 5 minutes away had everything that we needed.Plenty of people selling firewood reasonably priced.Beach towels are in abundance on the property.We used the propane grill daily.

Amazing Vacation

I booked this trip last minute for my family. My kids range in age from 2 to 19 so it’s hard to find something that satisfies everyone. The listing sounded perfect. The owner was very responsive to the few questions I had. When we got there, it exceeded my expectations! We had a wonderful week. There was something for everyone to do all the time. My only suggestion for a family with little kids is to bring a couple baby gates. The deck is amazing but has 3 different openings. My 2 year-old was obsessed with trying to get to a very steep hill that is covered in rocks and drops straight down to the beach.

Wonderful lakefront property

The property is an absolute gem. It was well stocked with all the essentials and felt clean and fresh with a nice amount of decor without feeling cluttered. The highlight of the property is by far the amount of private lake access you have; while boats and jet skiers may pass by, you feel like you're on a private island with no visible neighbors when sitting on the beach area. On the one side of the dock you have a wonderful area for walk in lake access to enjoy lounging on a pool toy or jumping off the swim platform. On another side you have a nice sloping access down to the dock or you can take the deck stairs. The deck and firepit area both provide stunning views of the lake, and we spent countless hours enjoying the outdoors. Morning coffees on the dock and evening sunsets were perfection. The house is within driving distance of a decent grocery store and several convenience stores, making it easy to stock up on essentials or grab any last-minute items we needed.

We all loved this place! The view is amazing, beds are comfy, house is very clean and kitchen is stocked well. My husband had a great time fishing and my dog loved all the squirrels around the neighborhood. I definitely recommend staying here!
