The host was very welcoming and took the time to show us around the house before she left. Everyone enjoyed the lake, fishing, and the indoor fireplace. We had a Great experience. The only issue was that the hot tub was not working; the heat would go off every 20 minutes, even after the owner called a repairman to look at it, so if you were looking forward to using it, you might be disappointed. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

The house was very clean. The kitchen was stocked really well. The location has spectacular views. So relaxing and quiet. The kids had a blast in the pool. The exterior could use some attention. Plenty of shade and seating downstairs by the pool. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to going back.

Our family had a great time in the pool, and fishing and kayaking on the lake, which are in great condition. There were a large assortment of games and a nice fire pit with wood provided. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for a large group.

Relaxing lake house

We stayed at this great lake house for a few days. We enjoyed the views, kayaking and fishing. We would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing place to relax!!

The Lake House was an amazing place to stay with my family, wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities this place had to offer but we were only in town for the weekend for a wedding, we will be definitely looking to book a longer stay!!

Peaceful setting

This was our second time staying at the Lakehouse....love this place! Very quiet and peaceful getaway. Beautiful views in the morning and evening - both from the deck and pool area.

Family trip for Dad's Birthday

The hosts were responsive and check in was easy. It's in a very remote area. We rented here because my dad wanted to ride ATV's at a nearby park so that was convenient.

cozy place

location is very nice, property in a great setting, check in was easy. House is dated and in need of fixing up, the deck is in need of major repair give it a 3 out of 10, land scaping 4 out of 10, all in all its a nice place and the process was easy they just need to invest in the property.

Thanksgiving and Wedding Weekend

My family and I enjoyed this home so much. We had such a great time cooking. Kayaking and listening to music by the fire pit. We would definitely recommend this home and hope to come back again.

Family gathering

Loved the LakeHouse! Truly enjoyed the setting- the lake is a lovely, peaceful spot to reconnect. We enjoyed the fireplace, fire pit, the pool, and the house itself was perfect for us. It would benefit from the addition of hooks to hang wet towels and clothing, and the wifi needs an update. We would definitely stay here again-it was lovely!!

Lovely Lakehouse Getaway!

This is the perfect place to unwind, decompress and just enjoy each others company. Everything was very clean and had upscale linens which we always appreciate. The views from the decks and dock are just stunning. We really enjoyed the use of the kayaks and awesome evening on the dock watching the full moon rise. The best thing is we never had to go in the car once we arrived! A perfect weekend!!

Great stay at the lake!

We had a great time at the lake house. Our group was 4 adults & 7 kids, and we all enjoyed the pool, hot tub, kayaking, and fishing; the local gators even “visited” us off the dock. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs, the balcony was relaxing, and we had plenty of space. The owners were responsive to our questions and friendly. We visited Weeki Wachee springs and Rainbow springs, both were 45+ minutes away but worth the drive. I would absolutely stay here again!

Family getaway

We were looking for a fun place to be together for a few days before my Son leaves for 3 years. He is in the USMC. It was a perfect place for us. We loved the layout of the house. We enjoyed the pool, kayaks, and paddle boat. We, also, loved the darts and game table in the evenings We loved having coffee on the deck in the mornings. I would highly recommend this place for a fun family location.

Lake house

First the cons. Lake house was under renovations, which would have been nice to be notified of. Surrounded sound did not work, sauna was acting up, and grill needed attention. Now that being said the pros. Communication from Jenn was great she responded promptly and did all she could to resolve issues, considering it was July 4. The lake houses other amenities quickly made up for minor cons. In short our stay was amazing stayed in pool till wee hours of morning, grandsons caught fish on the lake with fishing poles provided in garage. Kayaks, canoe and 4 person boat were also available and in great shape. The house its self was also amazing. I could go on and on, lets just say we will be back. You will not be disappointed by no means. Thank you Jenn for great visit.

A Peaceful Retreat

Jenn’s place was cozy, peaceful, and had a gorgeous lake view. A wonderful place to relax and unwind with friends and family and definitely the place to be if you just want to be away from the city lights, and one with nature and the midnight sky. Sitting by the extremely large firepit, and leaning back in the adirondack chairs, we saw 4 shooting stars. The outside was so gorgeous that we spent most of our time enjoying the huge deck. The kitchen was large with lots of counter space making cooking easy and the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Family Labor Day weekend

We had a lovely relaxed weekend on the lake. The house was beautiful. The host had everything we needed and some extras. There were plenty of outdoor chairs, games and puzzles. They even left us a s’mores kit. This was a great addition. We spent the weekend fishing and kayaking on the lake, floating in the pool with a piña colada, grilling and playing games in the evening. The yard was big enough for the guys to play wiffleball and the dog to run around. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back.

Lake house get away

The owners were amazing and easy to communicate with. They answered all my questions and more. When arriving to the lake house the property manager was there with her kids and walked us through everything. She said the pool was on nightly cleaning mode but was real dirty. It had been raining on and off for days she said. When going to get in there were the nests and bugs and stuff but we really was not bothered at all because really we swam in the ocean and lakes before. My husband on day 3 of being there and the pool getting even dirtier and house manager said that the pool boy wasn’t scheduled until after we would be leaving. My husband finally realized that all needed was the bag emptied and then it started cleaning again. Too bad we didn’t get to use the clean pool after but the next guests will have a clean pool. The guys could not fish any due to the area in front to dock under water and marshy. So that left for some unhappy guys but we played games and talked and had a good time. There were no bugs at all in house because I’m guessing the lizards all in the House was eating them. We even got to bring one back to Tennessee with us, which I hated but the cat loved a new buddy to play with. The house is amazing and real cozy. It really makes you feel as if you are out by yourself. Would recommend this house again just remember you are on vacation and nothing is perfect ever. Just make the best out of what you got and they give you so many options here.

I wish some things were disclosed. Character limitation below. I had 21 items.

1. Wi-Fi is 4-5 mbps. If everyone is using it no one can use it. I feel I would have been more prepared if this was disclosed upfront. I work in tech and planned to work 1-2 days of our trip. I was not able to due to the Wi-Fi. 2. If your cell phone provider is Verizon you will not have service until you reach the main road when you turn onto the properties road. Usually we would rely on Wi-Fi calling but due to the signal strength of the Wi-Fi it was not consistent. I recommended to Jen to look into star link. 3. One TV is direct TV and the other is Roku. If the wi-if is being used by other people in your party it can interfere with watching the Roku TV. 4. The downstairs basement bedrooms do not have windows. 5. The downstairs basement bedroom with 2 closets only has 1 available for guest use. 6. We stayed as a party of 7. 2 family’s. We both have pools and manage our own pool equipment at home. The 2 skimmers never worked on the pool. Only a net and a brush were available to clean the pool with. Leaves stuck to the bottom. I’m not talking about a handful. I am saying over a 100 and it was everyday. The nats and mosquitos would cover the pool from the night before every morning. I feel that the pool was a let down due to it was constantly dirty. We talked to the property owner several times about the cleanliness of the pool and communicated that the skimmers were not working and the pump would not stay primed and the pool filters pressure gauge was over 30psi.

Both of us are ambitious entrepreneurs. Tony owns a technology company I own a real estate company. In fact, if anyone is coming to Tampa to "house hunt", feel free to contact me, Jenn, and I'll be happy to guide you to your dream home. :-)

Both Tony and myself are very busy but love spending our free time together with our 13 year old son and 4 year old Maltipoo, Smooch.

We were shopping for a unique home with a gorgeous view and fell in love with this house at first sight! It is so awesome to find a vacation home within 40 minutes of Tampa! You will feel so peaceful sitting on the porch and looking at the beautiful lake as well as enjoy the salt water pool and all the other amenities. We love this home and hope you do too!
