For those who enjoy outdoor activities it's all in the backyard.
Canoes, kayaks, a paddle boat and bicycles free for your enjoyment. A trolling motor, marine battery and some fishing poles.
A gas grill on the deck and a charcoal grill for the riverside.
Fresh condiments in the fridge. Coffee, tea, sweeteners, paper plates. Lots of wood for the firepit and marshmallows for roasting.
Dreamcatcher Cottage has been a romantic escape for many couples. It has served as a retreat for nature lovers, artists & photographers, Mom & Daughter get togethers, Girlfriend Getaways and, a winter refuge for our Snowbirds who love to snuggle by the cozy fireplace.
Let us know if you have a special occasion and would like it to be a surprise. We will be happy to put up banners and provide birthday plates, napkins and caom0ndles! Free of charge, of course!!
DVDs, videos and games in the fun room. We have popcorn for you too!!
Family Friendly local restaurant within walking distance if desired. Entertainment!
Sunday morning service!
Rails to Trails is right up the road. It is a 46 mile paved trail for walking, jogging, biking, roller blading.
Dave, is a Trail Master and can direct you to hiking local Florida Trails. There are pamphlets and maps in the Funroom.
Horseback riding also available close by.
I-75 is a just minutes away and will take you to numerous activities & adventures.

Great Location, the cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortably furnished. Being able to lounge by the river or take out one of many kayaks puts this stay on the top of our list.

Our stay at Dreamcatchers Cottage was exceptional, the cottage was clean with many amenities, the river in the back with canoes or kayaks to use. The hosts were amazingly welcoming and had everything you could need in the cottage. This was an excellent experience. 10 out of 10. Thank you so much.

The place was very cute very clean. The host was very understanding and easy to deal with. I would definitely rent again. Had to cut my stay short because of an injury and they were very understanding and very kind. I do appreciate it. I would definitely rent again

A dream vacation at Dreamcatcher Cottage!

My husband and I stayed the weekend here with our 2 boys ages 8 and 14 and could not have had a better time. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and very thoughtful. The river was amazing, the home was clean, they had every little thing we needed. This was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!

Memorial Day weekend getaway

Everything was just wonderful. Hosts communicated quickly & were just great at making our stay memorable. Loved the back deck listening to the birds. My husband fished. I did some kayaking & biking. Lots of little things made the place special & it was very clean. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing weekend. We’re only a little over an hour away & would definitely book again.

Charming Relaxing Cottage on the River

My husband and I wanted a little getaway for our anniversary. We found Dreamcatcher Cottage about an hour from us and so glad we decided on this one! Patti and Dave are friendly and welcoming. They live next door but we had plenty of privacy to relax. They offered for us to check in early and stay late beyond the stated times. It rained the first two days so we enjoyed inside; very quiet and clean, lots of books and games to spend the time (there's a tv and vhs/dvd available as well, which we didn't use). Kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we needed. Backyard is spacious and private and so beautiful on the river. My favorite part was sitting outside at dusk by the river and just watching and listening to the wildlife and the wind in the trees. Saw blue heron, turtles, and a gator (who floated peacefully by). Across the street is a little restaurant that had great food and a friendly waitress. Lovely quiet little area. Thank you Patti and Dave! We will be back and will recommend to all!

Awesome place

Little charming cottage, great Hostess Patti & Dave, clean, amenities & little lovely touches of Love that Patti has put in the decor.in back By the river in back with canoe, kayak to use. Like old Florida when you sit by river. The only down side was how close traffic noise was. We had a relaxing enjoyable stay.

Riverside Getaway

I stayed here to visit with my daughter who lives in the area. I was able to work using the very good wifi. Very clean, very comfortable and excellent communication with the hosts. My favorite part was sitting on the deck watching and listening to all of of the birds!the b

Excellent Stay

This place is a little piece comfy cozy. It has all the amenities you need and is half an hour away from grocery stores. Patti and Dave always kept in touch with us to make sure that we had everything we needed. We really appreciated how they went the extra mile to make sure that our home away from home was enjoyable and hope to book again for next year!

Fun family getaway

This is our second time staying in this lovely cottage just 3 blocks from where my brother's home is. We are planning on returning again next year. There are so many activities that you can do. One of our favorites was riding our bikes on the paved trail just a couple of blocks from the cottage.

Cozy cottage, beautiful river

Patti and Dave made sure everything was perfect for our arrival. This cottage is so cozy, from the warm fireplace, the well stocked kitchen and being right on the river was so amazing!

We LOVE this cottage!

This is our second stay at the Dreamcatcher Cottage. Once again, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage. The setting is so peaceful, right on the river. Well we didn’t utilize any of the available amenities such as kayaks or bikes, the fact that they are available at no additional cost is really great. Highly recommend Dreamcatcher Cottage!

Wonderful stay at Dreamcatcher Cottage

Everything about the cottage and the stay was great and was as described on the listing. Patti and Dave were friendly hosts, lovely people who made us feel very welcome with a great check in experience. They live next door to the property, are available if needed but are not overbearing in any way. Using the canoes on the river was a lots of fun. We had our own fishing gear but rods with reels were available in the shed for anyone not taking their own. A lot of thought and care has gone in to the decor and supplies in the cottage. We would stay here if visiting the area in future.

We had a very good stay at this cottage. The owner was responsive and helpful throughout the whole trip. He even was able to give us a boost when my car battery died.We enjoyed using the bikes and canoes

Nearby Getaway

We celebrated our anniversary by spending a few days away from town. This was a great place to re-connect with mother nature and find some quiet time. Access to the canoes, kayaks, river and bike trail made all the difference for our stay. The Cottage itself was very comfortable and generously supplied. Take a break and stay here!

Adventure trip w my grand daughter

The cottage was right on the river w amazing views of the Forrest. We kayaked and used the paddle boat. We biked on the trail that was close by and enjoyed this beautiful cottage. The owner provided everything to make our stay perfect. The linens were top notch as well as pots and pans. We did some cooking since no restaurants were open near by. Great retreat.

Relaxed Vacation Time

This was our second week-long stay at the lovely Dreamcatcher Cottage. The Cottage was just as expected: clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with considerate and thoughtful hosts nearby if needed to support our stay. We come to this area primarily to ride the Withlacoochie Trail on our tandem, and it is a short ride from the home to the Trail, about a half-mile. A shed is provided for bicycle storage. We just settle in to the home with our groceries and enjoy our rides, cooking our meals and sitting on the deck or by the river, watching birds and squirrels and listening to sounds from the river. A firepit and wood is provided for your use, as well as bicycles and kayaks and canoes and a paddleboat. A wide variety of books and movies and music are available in the home. For us, it is a haven. We enjoy our stays here and would happily return again and again.

We love hiking, biking and paddling the scenic Withlacoochee River.
We are so very blessed to have all of this beauty at our backdoor and, to be able to share it. It is truly, mother nature at her best.
Dave is a Trail Master on the Florida Trail and provides a tremendous amount of information to our guests wishing to explore the area.

The quaint little town of Nobleton hasn't changed much in the past 100 years. It is about a square mile. It is so tiny that we do not have RFD. We have to go to the Post Office to get our mail. Dreamcatcher River Cottage is adjacent to River Oaks Landing, a Local Landmark and, once General Store/Post Office which is now our home.
We make every effort to make Dreamcatcher Cottage your home away from home. It is well maintained.
Cleanliness is #1!
We love the peace and charm of the river and the beauty as the forest changes colors with the seasons.
