Description: Located in the beautiful development of Echota, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom main floor (entry level, no stairs) condo is perfect for your next vacation. This condo is fully furnished with everything you would need for a long retreat or a short weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the living room is inviting with a gas log fireplace. Curl up, get cozy and read a book, watch TV or take a nap…. the choice is yours! Guests of this unit have access to the deck from the living room or primary bedroom where they can breathe in fresh mountain air while gazing at the mountains and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax or an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. 

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

There were used toothpicks laying on the coffee table, and someone had brushed their hair or washed their hair in the sink, and there was hair everywhere. There was hair in the bed when we turned it down.

Our Vacation

Upon arriving, we were vastly early. We got access to the Resort area and found the house very easily. I asked some questions at the front desk area only to find myself being let in early. So accommodating, so clean, so beautiful. Neighbors were kind, locals kind. What made the trip was after we left we found that we had left behind a valued item. The security team found it during closed hours, secured it at the main office and they mailed it back to us. Top of the line customer service. Thank you everyone. Cant wait to come back.

Football weekend

Went for the App State football game. Condo was perfect for us. Clean, accessible, great for our child, close to town but far enough away. Would recommend and will for sure go back.

Weekend Family Getaway

This is a great condo, right near a lot of fun places to visit. This was very convenient to Hawks Nest Snow Tubing, Grandfather Mtn, Grandfather Mtn Vineyard, & many other great places. Great for our family of 3, very clean & comfortable spot.

Fun time had by all

Very easy and so convenient to so much fun very disappointed we didn’t get to eat at a good steakhouse but we found food Would be nice if there were suggestions on this but overall experience was awesome

Winter getaway

We had a great time- the place was really clean, had all of the kitchen utensils you need. The beds were comfortable. If using the pullout- the pillows in the closet didn’t have pillow cases- so that is an fyi. Beautiful views.

Enjoyable Stay

The condo was the right size for my group. Being on the entry level made it convenient to load and unload our vehicle, especially with young children. A big plus. The condo came equipped with what we needed to prepare meals, which was useful because we were snowed in for two days. The one downside was the size of the water heater. It's probably fine for two people but for a family of five, we needed to be mindful to stagger our bath times so as not to run out of hot water.

Great location

Nice view, clean, and comfortable beds - Great location close to parks and slopes - Only complaint is the sleep sofa - the mattress was horrible and not clean - not sure the cleaning service had changed the bedding since I found remnants of food and crumbs when taking off the cushions to pull out sleeper

Clean and cozy

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean and cozy. Comfy beds. I did miss not having TVs with Netflix so I could sign on and watch my shows at night. Other than that, great place, great stay!

Mountain Getaway

We really enjoyed the stay in Boone. It was a really nice area. We explored mountain trails in the area. The listing was really nice and accurate. I would recommend if anyone is considering great views and a great area to explore!

Thanksgiving Tradition

From first Seeing the listing; it looked beautiful and in fact, looks just like the pictures. We loved it, our 15th year of spending Thanksgiving in the High Country; we do plan to rent this unit again if we can. Very well appointed, very clean, comfortable beds.
