Description: Located in the beautiful development of Echota, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom downstairs condo (stair access only) condo is perfect for your next vacation. This condo is fully furnished with everything you would need for a long retreat or a short weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the living room is inviting with a gas log fireplace. Curl up, get cozy and read a book, watch TV or take a napā€¦. the choice is yours! Guests of this unit have access to the deck from the living room or primary bedroom where they can breathe in fresh mountain air while gazing at the mountains and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax or an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.
Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Countryā€™s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. The property is very conveniently locatedā€”about a 15-minute drive to most major attractions (downtown Boone, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain). The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice, and the apartment itself was pleasant.I left a 4-star rather than a 5-star review because I was surprised by how few basic household items were provided. When we arrived, the heater was set to 60 degrees, and with the wind chill it was -3 that night. It took quite some time for the house to warm up. We were traveling with children, and there was only one extra blanket in the entire house. The comforters were quite thin. Given the mountain location and winter temperatures, providing several additional blankets would be a reasonable and necessary comfort.I understand not stocking a full pantry, but most guests stay a week or less. It feels impractical to require every visitor to purchase basics like olive oil and spices just to cook. We rent out an apartment ourselves and provide a basic spice rack and oil for guests.Lastly, the paper towels and trash bags were extremely minimal. The trash bags were very low quality. These are bags meant for paper not for kitchen trash and certainly not made to fit the kitchen trash can. This is very inconvenient considering guests must transport trash by car to the bin. Being left with half a roll of paper towels for a three-day stay meant we had to go out and buy more.

Boone weekend

Condo was clean and baths were newly renovated. It is located in Echota Woods which is close to the entrance so we had easy in and out access. Also very close to indoor pool. Check in and check out was super easy.

Very clean and comfortable

Property was very clean, very comfortable beds, appliances modern, everything working well. The neighborhood is very nice w scenic property, very quiet. Check in and out process very smooth, would definitely come back. The only thing for us was a bit further from Sugar Mountain then we imagined in terms of getting to the ski slopes and how much time to allow for that

Nice little vacation spot

We came to stay at this condo just for a long weekend to tour App State with our daughter. It's a nice, clean place that is not too far from Boone but far enough away to have some quiet. I think my only complaint would be that the water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but I could survive that for 3 days. We didn't have time to enjoy the amenities like the pool, hot tub, fitness center, but it looked like the facilities were great. We'd certainly stay here again.

Great NC mountain location

Very conveniently located for any mountain adventure youā€™d like to take on in NC. We booked for snowboarding. Itā€™s an easy 30 minute drive to Beech and about 15 minutes to Sugar. I really wanted to give 4.5 stars simply due to the hot tub not working. The jets worked but the heat did not. Bummer for me after 2 days of snowboarding to soothe my old body. Nevertheless, the condo was superb. Great space for daddy daughter trip. Easy check in/check out. The condo has everything youā€™d need for cooking meals. Nice back porch. Nice fireplace. Comfortable furniture and beds. The only drawback I could see for some people would be that itā€™s a downstairs unit. That was not a problem for us.

Property is new and well kept but we were unpleasantly surprised when we did not find cut boards and kettle. Cofee maker was extremely dirty so we could not use it to make hot water. We do not drink coffee and we had to use pan to make tea. Also all dishes were dirty we had to wash them before we were able to use them. To turn on fireplace was impossible as it caused fire alarm to start. Also white carpet around and under fireplace is not practicle. Inside pool air and water very extremely cold. Jacuzzi was very dirty despite enourmouse amountof chloride in it.

It was very relaxing, but need to update furniture and bed linens. The pillows were very flat. Had all the covers on me and was still cold they were a little worn out. But other than that it had everything we needed.

Clean, quiet, safe condo

This rental was very clean and comfortable. Very close to Sugar Mountain for some skiing. The whole checking in and checking out process was painless. We were even allowed to check in a couple hours earlier. I would recommend this rental to anyone!

Fun Getaway

We stayed here over a quick weekend trip to get some snowboarding in. The condo was well stocked with needed items. Directions for check-in/check-out and amenities were clear and accurate. Location was quiet. Will stay here again on future trips!

Echota Woods - Awesome Condo

This was a great weekend get-a-way for our family of 4. The process was very easy to get checked into the property and the condo was fantastic. My wife and I enjoyed the spacious living area and back deck. Our two boys were comfortable in the guest room and really loved the amenities of the club (pool, hot tub, etc.). Our unit was very quiet and it made for a relaxing weekend. I would ignore some of the previous reviews regarding the bed and kitchen amenities; they were both great. Would definitely come back and enjoy this property again. Thanks for the stay.
