Description: Welcome to Bear Dean, a charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom log cabin nestled in Seven Devils. Unwind by the crackling wood-burning fireplace or engage in friendly competition at the pool table, ensuring delightful evenings indoors. The fully equipped kitchen provides the necessities to prepare a meal or, if preferred, cook outside on the grill. The main floor features the kitchen, living room, recreation room with pool table, primary bedroom, and bathroom. The open loft area offers more sleeping space with queen and full beds and the guest bathroom. Experience the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort where every moment promises relaxation and rejuvenation amidst nature's embraces or go on an adventure and enjoy all the High Country has to offer.Ā 

Amenities: Guests of the Lakes Community have access to stocked catch-and-release ponds and a playground and tennis courts in the Seven Devils Community.

Location: This cabin is located in quaint Seven Devils, on the same mountain as Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Ziplining, and centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The Seven Devils community offers public basketball and tennis courts along with a children's playground. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Countryā€™s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.Ā  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

This is our second time staying at Bear Den. The location is amazing and we've loved our time here. The cabin has everything we needed for a long weekend. The wood burning fireplace is a huge plus and while I loved the 70 degree weather last weekend I was a little bummed we couldn't use the fireplace. See you again next year!

Clean, everything we needed for sure. Had issues with tv but they sent out someone and fixed it within a very reasonable timeframe. Nice place to relax over spring break with the kids. Ride up is a bit rough if you get carsick! We solved that by staying put and enjoying the cabin. Bad squeak in master from upstairs when kids are moving around. Thatā€™s the only negative. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It was very clean, cozy, and the perfect size for our family of three. The fireplace made it extra inviting, and we really enjoyed spending time on the porch and playing pool inside.The location was super convenient ā€” close to surrounding areas, with a gas station right at the bottom of the mountain and an amazing coffee shop just down the road (Mountain Dig Coffee ā€” the cinnamon roll was to die for!). Hawksnest tubing was also less than a 3-minute drive from the top of the mountain, which was a huge bonus.The only small suggestions weā€™d make would be to update the baking sheets and consider offering coffee for guests. Other than that, everything was wonderful and weā€™d absolutely stay here again!

Cabin was cozy. Listing was exactly as described. We had a great time. Getting to the skiing mountains was very easy. Location was great. My only feedback would be to ask incoming families for during the holiday season if they celebrate Christmas and put up a tree. We were there during Christmas and would have loved to have a full size lit tree especially with the cozy cabin and fireplace. We wound up purchasing a 4ft one but a traditional one would have been such an amazing touch. Obviously this is above and beyond expectations just a thought. Great stay overall!

Great cabin!

We spent a long weekend at Bear Den and it was fantastic! The pictures were an exact representation of the property. Stocked firewood on the front porch was a great addition. We loved the fireplace and had it going all the time. We will most certainly be back. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place with a central location to all the local attraction. (Grandfather Mtn/Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk) Comes with everything you may need for a short or extended stay. Our home is in a beach community and we thought the house was a little more secluded than it was, but very quiet neighborhood, great for any type of get away.
