Private River Access on the Beautiful Frio River!

Hi Sandra, The security camera is focused on the property in general as a security measure and to prevent theft. When a property is located way out in the country it’s not the same as being in the city where if something were to happen it would be noticed. The occupied house is my 85 year old grandmothers house and she along with my Aunt are the property managers. They live there and are there in case an issue arises. Many many other people have stayed at their property and thoroughly enjoyed it. The view from the front porch is of natural beauty- the hills. Unfortunately, you did not respond to my message after you said you were leaving, or they would have done their best to make you happy. Reviews after the fact do not help. It just brings them down. And in a time of Covid 19 when we are all trying to help one another, this was not helpful.

Hi Brenda, I’m glad you had such a good time and enjoyed the cottage. Cell reception in the Frio River area is notoriously spotty which is why we have the WiFi. Also, if you are a regular of the Frio, you know the river for its river holes. If the toilet wobbled, I wish you would have let us know. We would have immediately fixed that. And we would have done it while you were at the river so that you were not bothered. The river area is natural. We don’t take all of the river brush up everywhere like the newbies do. That is what protects you during a flood. Thanks for staying!
