The town itself is more residential than tourist hub and is friendly and relaxed. The RSL club with a restaurant and live entertainment on the weekends is 5 mins walk away, or you can use the free courtesy bus which will pick you up from the front door and drop you home as well. Also the Lemon Tree Passage Bowling Club and Tanilba Bay Golf Club are a 5 minute drive away, with restaurants and live entertainment, and also offer a free courtesy bus. The local facilities, all within walking distance include a Coles supermarket, bottle-shop (liquor store), pizza delivery, newsagent, Post Office, pharmacy, bank with ATM, butcher, bakery, coffee shop and a medical centre. In addition to the restaurants at the various clubs, there is an award-winning restaurant at Lemon Tree Passage (5 stars on Trip Advisor) run by a French chef, and also a number of other more casual dining options.
