Come relax at this beautiful waterfront cottage. All it needs is YOU! Everything is there for your convenience, all kitchen appliances, dishware, pots and pans, utencils, BBQ and propane, firepit, wood, canoe, paddle boat, linens and more. Pull up an adirondack chair, or layback on a lounge and watch the sunset over the Bay of Quinte as the swans swim by. This 3-bedroom, newly renovated cottage is in an ideal location; not only is it great for fishing its also just minutes away from several championship golf courses, breathtaking sandy beaches, the county wineries, boutique shopping, restaurants, hospital, marina splashpad, park, and so much more. Optional; pontoon boat ride along the Bay.

Another great stay

A very relaxing stay at Wendy's place. Well kept home, easy access to the water for daily, sometimes twice daily canoe rides. Very well-stocked kitchen (look for it, and they likely have it). Excellent communication with Wendy for any questions. Highly recommended .

Great stay

Really enjoyed our stay. Well-stocked kitchen, big deck which includes a netted seating area (great for when the sun goes down and the mosquitoes arrive). View of the lake beautiful, used the canoe twice a day (easy entrance to water). Internet really good, communication with hosts easy and quick. Groceries, LCBO, Walmart, CT all within 10 minutes drive. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay

The hosts were very responsive, and the check-in easy and smooth. The cottage was clean as a whistle and has everything you need. A lovely spot for a getaway in the fall! We were entranced by the swans swimming by all day and the water and birds singing were so relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed a cozy fire in the fireplace each evening and the peace and quiet to fall asleep and wake up to. Such a lovely cottage and property. We recommend it highly!

The cottage & grounds were well maintained. Beautiful views of the water. We really enjoyed having the use of a paddle boat & canoe. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable but would recommend bringing your own pillow if you need to maintain a certain ergonomic position for a good sleep. Due to a fire ban for most of our eeek & then rain we were unable to use the fire pit but it looked very inviting. Used the lovely outdoor screened in portion of the deck for several meals because of inclement weather at the end of our stay. Our host Wendy kept in touch during our stay to ensure things were going well & was very helpful in recommending local restaurants was always responsive to our This was a very positive experience for our 1st time using Verbo.

Beautiful

This a beautiful, peaceful waterfront property that is so close to town but feels very remote. My family had a great stay and had everything we needed. It may get a bit tight with more than 4 people and the bedrooms were pretty small, but for us, it worked out well. Would very much rent this property again and recommend to others.

Property was even nicer than I expected. Wendy was friendly and helpful during the process. Only minor complaint would have been providing more detailed directions, specifically the unit number. Other than that, I'd love to go back!

Wendy’s cottage

We went for my birthday and for my first full week of holidays in 5 years. We had a great time. The cottage was stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need. It was extremely clean and decorated very nicely. Just walk in and relax! The screened area on the deck was so nice to sit in to play cards on the night my daughters stopped in. The beds are comfortable as is the living room furniture. Our boxer Maggie loved sitting on the deck and watching the swans, geese and ducks. Our host,Wendy, even called to see if we needed anything else or any info about the area. All in all it was just what I needed, probably the best break I have had working as a PSW with long hours and a heavy workload! We can’t wait to come back!

Quiet place

I rented this place so I could enjoy peace and quiet to get some writing done. It was perfect for my needs. I enjoyed being able to look out at water and watch swans gliding by. It’s very clean and just as it looks in pictures. Comfortable and cozy.

Wonderful Cottage!

This cottage has everything you would want in a cottage experience. It is beautiful, comfortable and outfitted with everything you might need for an enjoyable cottage experience including well placed lighting, flexible yard seating, a semi screened porch, fire pit, tv with lots of choices, etc. They really have thought of everything! It’s very private and peaceful and a quiet waterfront. Wendy communicated well with everything we needed or questions we had. Unfortunately we didn’t swim off the dock because the water was very low this year but you could. It’s close to the wineries and a short drive to the various beaches. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We love to share our waterfront property with vacationers that want to escape the big city and experience everything the County and Quinte region has to offer. Our 3B Cottage on the Bay of Quinte is close to beaches, wineries, dining and activities, the gateway to the county.

This is your ideal 4-season family getaway. Everything supplied but your clothes and groceries. Enjoy 150’ of private waterfront, with dock, fire pit, sheltered patio overlooking the Bay of Quinte, and short jaunts to all the hot spots in Prince Edward County. Our three bedroom bay house is nestled in Carrying Place, less than two hours from Toronto. It's a perfect spot for family and friends to relax and unwind with free wifi, BBQ and more.

So much to see and do is closeby like wineries, breweries, golf courses, beaches, skiing, hiking spots, orchards, museums (dinasaur and aviation), boutique shopping and unique culinary offerings.

Upon your return from all of your daytime adventures, relax on the back patio, around the fire or take the canoe or paddle boat out to view the beautiful sunset. You might even spot some local wildlife such as king fishers, purple martins, swans, blue herons, geese, ducks and turtles.
