A hidden gem located in a peaceful location along the River Vienne, our recently renovated cottage with private pool offers a holiday that is sure to relax you.
Riverside is exclusively yours and offers 3 en suite bedrooms, sleeping 7, (2 of the beds in the third bedroom are only suitable for children), lounge, kitchen/diner, utility room, 3 terraces on different levels, with comfortable seating, an orb chair, bbq, and an above ground pool. The large garden leads down to your very own part of the River Vienne. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy yourself, or fish. There are many birds to look out for and is perfect for stargazing as there is no light pollution, perfect place for watching shooting stars, there is a telescope for your use.
If you like kayaking, your kayak can be launched from the garden. You can fish the river or there is a beautiful fishing lake less than a minutes walk or drive away.  Riverside is close to the towns of Gouex, Persac, Lussac Les Chateaux and Montmorillon where there are boulongeries, chemists, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Poitiers is only 45 minutes away where you will find the amazing Futuroscope and plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars or there is Chauvigny, Valley of the Monkeys and Crocodile World which also has an indoor and outdoor pool, gym, spa and bowling alley all not very far away.  
The area is perfect for walking and cycling and there is a lovely outdoor pool and childrens' play areas in Gouex and Queaux.  Kayaking, Velo Rail, climbing adventure through the trees and zip wire, water skiing and bungee jumping are all available locally. New for 2018 is a catapult over the River Vienne.
