This great little cabin sleeps up to 6 and features:
- 1 private bedroom with a queen bed.
- 1 loft bedroom with two queen beds and a private deck.
- Kitchen fully equipped with dishes, utensils, cookware and coffee maker.
- 1 bathroom with shower.
- Dining table for 6 and 3 counter stools at kitchen.
- Living area with 2 lounge chairs and a sofa
- Front porch with 2 lounge chairs.
- Large back deck with 4 lounge chairs.
- All bed linens and towels are provided clean and fresh for each new guest. Extras are stored on the premises.
- Flat screen TV with DVD player and stereo.
-wifi blueray DVD streams Netflix etc.
Great getaway 30 minutes from Salt Lake City, Utah, and under 10 minutes from Park City. Which gives you access to 7 major world class ski resorts. 3 of them in Park City the other 4 like Snowbird, Alta, Brighton & Solitude are less than 50 minutes away. NO WEDDINGS OR PARTIES, PLEASE HAVE 4 WHEEL DRIVE AND SNOW TIRES EVEN CHAINS IN THE WINTER MONTHS. IT WILL BE NECESSARY!! NO PETS!! SORRY THIS IS NOT A GOOD SET UP FOR WEDDINGS OR RECEPTIONS. NO PARTIES ALLOWED!

Nestled in the woods but right off a freeway exit.
Also in the heart of sportsman's paradise, with many hiking trails, mountain biking trails. This is also a great spot for photographers, writers, but also families and honeymooners.

Decks and railings are unsafe. Not a good choice for a summer vacation. If the listing had stated there was no air conditioning we certainly would have passed. The cabin was 100 degrees when we arrived and with no good cross ventilation very difficult to cool down at all.

We continue to return to this cabin. The owner is wonderful and the cabin is just to our liking. The area is beautiful.

Cozy Cabin

Cute neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Snowed fresh powder our whole stay making the views stunning (and good skiing). Listing is accurate- you have to carry your luggage and groceries in down steps so you must be active and ready to do some physical activity. It is fun to feel accomplished! Once inside warm and comforting. Enjoy!

Cozy and remote - I liked it. Friends did not

The cabin is economical and very warm. We did not use the wood burning stove. Our friends were very uncomfortable with the remoteness and difficult road to drive to the cabin. My 4 runner had zero issues with the road, but navigating out after driving in the dark was an experience. The bedroom is cramped and the loft echoes sounds. We would have loved an oven thermometer since the temperature didn’t seem to match the dial. sounds

Wonderful

Karen was so kind and helpful. We were glad we had gotten winter tires and chains because we needed them after a snowstorm! The cabin reminded me so much of the cabin my grandpa built when my dad was just a boy. I felt so at home. I would love to come back!

Good times had

My sister and I had an amazing weekend at this cabin! It was incredibly clean and cozy, perfect for our getaway. We loved curling up by the stove fireplace with some tea in the evenings and got to see moose in the day. The kitchen was well-stocked, though a griddle would have been a nice addition; it was a bit tight, but we managed just fine. Overall, we had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back!

Quiet getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Tollgate. We did not spend much time at the property but sleeping accommodations were comfortable, coffee was provided, and quiet mornings on the deck with coffee in hand were relaxing.

Such a cute cozy little cabin

We stayed here for our tenth anniversary and loved it! Very well equipped kitchen and very clean. Such great mountain views and the decks were amazing. It was a little bit warm without ac, but there were several big fans and we opened the windows in the evenings and that helped. We also saw a mouse run across the kitchen, but overall we loved our stay here and would stay again.

Nice and cozy cabin

It was a nice getaway for our honeymoon. The host communicated everything very well. Additionally, the host gave us directions to get to the cabin to make it easier to get there and not get stuck. The cabin matched the pictures in the listing and was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. There are a couple of extra beds we didn’t use, so a small family could stay there. It is a place we would stay at again in the future.

Great Cabin! Amazing Views!

We stayed mid-February and it had a beautiful layer of snow. I was concerned about being cold, since we are from the south, but the cabin was warm and toasty! I wish we would have been in town longer because we fell in love with this cabin!

Cozy and Relaxing Cabin

Owner isn’t kidding around about getting in and out of this area. We stayed during a beautifully sunny, long weekend in September and even with perfectly dry roads, we were a little nervous! Such a beautiful drive and location though. We were a little bummed by all the noisy construction of other cabins in the area but it didn’t ruin our stay and obviously it’s not the owner’s fault. Karen was a very responsive and helpful communicator- thank you! Also, we had a few visits from the resident moose during our stay which was so fun to watch. Overall, great vacation and wonderful place!

Rustic Cabin

The cabin is cozy and in a beautiful spot. However, as others have stated, it really needs a deep cleaning - dust and cobwebs throughout. The cookware was old and dirty, but that’s because there wasn’t anything to clean or scrub pans with. Not even a nylon scrubber! And, my husband had a “critter” (probably a mouse) run across his body while he was laying on the couch. There also is no where to store clothing other than one closet which has no shelves or drawers and about 5 hangers, so we were living out of our luggage. I wish the owner had been a little more forthcoming about having no chest of drawers or shelving for clothing when we were looking to book for 17 days. We checked out early and lost 10 or 11 days of our money due to these issues.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This was a nice, relaxing place to stay in August, with cool day-time (70s-80s) and night-time temperatures (50s-60s). The cabin was easy to access and well-equipped for a 4-day stay for 5 people. The cabin itself is showing a bit of age, and the pull-out bed left a lot to be desired comfort-wise. We didn't try the electronics so I can't speak to those. It has 3 porches which were all PERFECT for enjoying the great mountain air. The skies were fairly dark, which made it possible to see shooting stars and the Milky Way with the naked eye. The cabin is surrounded by a meadow full of yellow, purple, and white flowers. It's teeming with wildlife (squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, humming birds, falcons, jays, and other birds) including a lady moose who loves to munch on the flowers. I wish that there were some kind of community trails, but everything is private property, so if you want to go exploring, you have to keep to the roads. But the owner was up-front about this aspect of the community, so we were aware of this. It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to Silver Creek Junction and another 3-5 minutes to get to Kimball Junction, so be aware of travel times if you plan to go shopping/etc. Park City is a good 35 minutes away. Rockport reservoir is the closest lake, about 20-25 minutes (most of that is just getting out of Tollgate and back to the freeway). Overall, a very relaxing stay.

Cozy cabin

The cabin was cozy and clean. We were with kids and went to the cabin to get away from home and enjoy the outdoors, however there wasn't an area for the kids to play outside, besides the deck area. And there was a cabin being built right next to the property and construction was loud and started very early in the morning, 6 am. The cabin was farther away from Park City than we expected. It did have an Atari game that the kids enjoyed.
